The proliferation of Aether in this universe was not to create life, it was simply to make it stable enough for Rowan's dimensional soul and flesh to enter without cracking the universe open like an egg.

He could assimilate a universe easily, but it was a different case when he began flexing his will or even manifesting his presence, no material universe would be able to contain such power, and if he wanted a place to be able to digest his gains so that he could prepare for the inevitable chaos that was about to descend upon all of reality, then he needed this universe to be more robust to carry part of his weight.

Reinforcing the walls of the universe to be multiple times thicker and more durable, he reduced the presence of the universe to be almost undetectable, and when he was assured that the preparations were complete, Rowan's consciousness swept through the universe and he gathered the densest heavenly materials he could find, Black Holes, White Dwarfs, Neutron Stars, and even Quark Stars, which this universe had a surprising amount of. Despite the number of universes that proliferated all of existence, Rowan had discovered that every universe had certain unique features that separated them from the rest, like fingerprints, no two universes were the same, there might be close similarities, but there were no exact copies.
