The Primordial Record

Chapter 1391 Physique Evolution.

Chapter 1391  Physique Evolution.

The face he had seen had thrown all of his preconceived notions about his origin to the dust and had thrown his mind into disarray.

Rowan squeezed his hand, shattering the memory as rage filled his heart. There was a faint sound of a despairing cry as the last of Shisu vanished.

His shoulder shaking in agitation, Rowan closed his eyes and breathed in, then out, slowly adjusting his mental state. His rage needed the right outlet to be expressed, and it did not help that most of what he was feeling was not rage but helplessness.

Feeling a touch on his left hand, Rowan opened his eyes to see the Avatar of Serathis looking at him in concern, he smiled at her and she beamed bringing up a spoon of her food to give to him, and Rowan shook his head,

"I have mine here… see," gesturing towards his plate, "Enjoy yours."

Nodding happily, the Avatar of Serathis continued her feast, her eyes nearly closing in enjoyment, and Rowan sighed, without unlocking their omniscience, they were like children, and keeping them this way was not just a chance for them to engrave his mortal side into their memories, but for him to also observe the core of their character.

The Avatars of Ouroboros had been listening to Rowan with one ear, and when he stopped talking, they had focused fully on their meal, throwing plate after plate into their mouths with no abandon, while the Avatar of Chronomancer Prime was watching Rowan like a hawk, his unsettling gaze following every move he was making, cold and calculating, and when he noticed that Rowan's gaze was on him, he smiled, but it was a disquieting sight because there was no mirth in his strange eyes, and it was almost as if he was trying to imitate the actions of the Avatar of Serathis.

Noting all these quirks and habits of his Origin bloodline, Rowan wanted to continue his story, but he hesitated, his thoughts were scattered, his goal of pushing into his memories as a mortal had shown him unexpected revelations, and now he needed to think about his next moves carefully.

He had wanted to unlock the Omniscience of his bloodlines after he had finished his story, but he was no longer planning to do this at this time until he adequately resolved this matter.

Rowan finished eating, no longer tasting the food, and waited for a few hours for the Avatars of Serathis and Ouroboros to indulge themselves before he dismissed them, with a few words,

"This day did not go as I had envisioned and perhaps this is a sign that my path forward would no longer be as straightforward as I had once thought. I shall call upon you all again, but I don't think that it would be in such… calming circumstances."

He blinked and the Avatars collapsed into streams of lights that drifted into his body, and Rowan pressed his fingers against his brows, a phantom headache was drilling into his skull, and even aware that this was entirely mental and not physical, he did not want to dismiss it for a while.

Shaking his head, he called upon the Primordial Record to finalize all the changes in his realm.
