He could see the power generated by the Supreme Circle erupting out of his body, entering the circle, and after a single revolution they would return to his body, this was the normal pattern that the Supreme Circle used to transfer power all over his body in a closed off loop that fed off the energy of reality to power Rowan abilities. From all his experimentation with the Supreme Circle, he had thought that this system, although powerful, was also flawed because it drew power from reality itself, and although Rowan had no way to tell by which this flaw would express itself, what was happening here was that Seed already knew of this flaw and had a way of exploiting it.
