Chapter 1305  The Infiltration III

Dozens of building security officers rushed out of the building to check the situation outside, people gathered to see what was happening, when everyone's attention was focused on the situation outside, Garrof sent a notification to Lory, "Do it now!"

Lory pulled the beads from her bracelet and threw it straight at the CCTV camera, a second later the beads melted into a special liquid which made the camera lens blur temporarily, once she knew she was safe Lory threw another bead that turned out to be a smoke bomb which startled the two Argus agent when they were confused Lory take this chance to knock them out. Once they were unconscious, Lory searched their body for a gun and a silencer that she was sure they must have it, and as expected she got it! Lory called Garrof again, "How much time do I have?"

"Five minutes, maximum ten minutes" Garrof glanced at everyone in the room still focused on the situation outside and busy asking for help.

Lory rolled her eyes "So, safely I only have seven minutes"

"Yes!" Garrof frankly answered.

"Hold on, I'll be there in three minutes!" Lloyd chimed in.

Lory rolled her shoulders to relax her muscles, "Here I go!" Lory raised the gun and the light on the grip panel changed from blue to red meaning the weapon mode had changed from standby to ready. Garrof and the others held their breaths. Different from usual, Lory has to rely on her own strength without the help of her Gift. No one doubts Lory's supernatural powers but no one ever saw Lory fight without her gift so understandably they are a bit worried.

Luckily Lory got a lot of practice with Ming Yue Yin, Yang Xi Ying, and the others so compared to before, Lory's combat ability has improved quite a lot.

Lory caught one of the agents watching the area, Lory shot him right in the head, but when he fell it alerted another agent that coincidently passed that area, the agent rushed towards the fallen agent to check his condition. without further ado Lory shoots the man in the head as well, hence two more agents successfully taking him out.

Lory checked the dead agent and then saw there was a knife at the man's waist, Lory took the knife and slipped it into her waist. Lory glanced at the face of the agent she had just killed then took a deep breath.

She threw the uncomfortable at the back of her head, she needed to concentrate now! Once she calmed down Lory pressed her shoulder on the wall and then moved furtively. when he looked up he saw another CCTV camera on the ceiling. Lory dodges the camera and only blinds it when she has no other choice after all she only has a few beads left.

"Hey who are you!" one of the agents caught her, alas, his voice alerted the other agent and they all stormed in her direction

Lory threw her knife at the man which hit him in the shoulder as he groaned in pain Lory shot him right between the eyebrows. However, another agent pounced on Lory then she deftly pulled the knife from the dead agent's shoulder and thrust it into the agent's chest then used him as a a human shield when the other agents started shooting at her.

Lory responded by shooting back at the agents, Lory then kicked the dead man's body toward them, breaking their formation then she slid on the floor while shooting at them.

Just in two minutes, Lory managed to kill five highly skilled Argus agents. Lory got up from the floor and then checked the dead agent's body for magazines.

A moment later, Lloyd arrived but he was stunned by the scattered dead body on the floor. He looked at Lory who calmly looted the dead man's body, "Are you hurt, princess?" Lory refills the magazines and then jokingly says "Not as bad as them" Lloyd chuckled at how relaxed Lory was, more and more Lloyd felt that Lory looked more like a soldier than a princess, which felt ironic.

"When the camera becomes clear they would notice something strange" Lory sighed.

"We wouldn't have much time" Lloyd agreed.

"Yeah, I get as fast as I can" Lory checked the time and then calculated how much time she would need.

"I will clear the floor, it should give us more time," Lloyd said.

"Yeah, if something happened you got out first then cleared the entrance, I'll be out in an hour" Lory reminded him.

Lloyd nodded "I assumed we change to plan C now?"

Lory grins mischievously "It'll be fun"

"I just hope we don't get to Plan D" Lloyd sighed.

"Haha, hopefully," Lory laughed it out, Lory turned her head to the steel door, with a keycard lock system on the wall, "Got to go now"

"Be careful, your higness" Lloyd warn her.

Lory winked playfully, she took out the lab access card courtesy of Mr. Peter Miller from her pocket and then tapped the key card on the machine, a second later she heard a melodious sound Beep.

Lory then puss the door carefully before step into the room. Meanwhile, behind her Lloyd watches Lory left with a heavy expression.

Lory entered a large white room with a strong smell of disinfectant assaulting her nose. He saw several lab technicians wearing white lab coats focused on their work. Lory immediately lowered his head before they noticed his presence.

Lory looked around to find something so she could mingle with the lab techs then she saw a lab coat hanging on a hook, someone had to leave it behind.

Lory squatted down and took out his coat, luckily he found a mask in his lab coat pocket. Lory immediately replaced her blazer with a lab coat and then covered her face with a mask.

Using lab access he entered the lab, Lory looked around and then found a computer in the corner of the room.

Lory lowered her head to avoid suspicion as she walked over to the computer desk, she pulled out a chair then started checking what was inside.

Unfortunately, the computer needed a password, Lory gritted her teeth. She didn't know the computer password, what should she do? Her eyes darted left and right then she caught a small note on the table and it was the computer password!

Lory's eyes widened in shock. Luckily whoever owned this computer was careless. Lory typed the password a second later the computer opened up.

Lory made sure there was no one behind her before she began to browse the computer. it didn't take long before Lory started to find a file called Project Resurgence then Lory clicked on the file and immediately a series of information photos and schematics appeared regarding the abilities of creatures after absorbing a new plant species which they named 'Seed of life'.

Lory furrowed her forehead, where had she heard that name all of a sudden something flashed in her memory, she remembered about the research conducted by Serena Shawn, about the strange stone engraved with a weird symbol that Lory found on the Maren.

Lory plugged a USB into the PC and then began transferring the information. As she continued she found more troubling information.

When the seed of life is consumed by a Beast, it will provide indestructible powers, one of which will regenerate its body when injured, but the side effect of the seed is a significant change in its form which resembles a plant or tree.

Unfortunately, these seeds cannot be consumed directly by humans because they are too strong so they must be diluted with the blood of the species' progenitor (Zalchana).

Not all humans can consume these seeds but the criteria required are still unclear, but those who are lucky will gain extraordinary powers.

Unfortunately, due to the weakness of the progenitor's body, the strength of the seeds produced could not be maximized. This can be seen from the slow generation ability of the beast that consumes the seed of life (Bael) and humans cannot maintain this power for a long time, so every month they have to consume the seed of life diluted with Zalchana's blood and this weakens the Zalchana itself, therefore revitalizing Zalchana's body must be the main priority.

Please give a reminder to the S.A.I.N.T. organization about the urgency to speed up the time of harvest before the genesis project is delayed again.

Lory's hands clenched, what is Zalchana? what do they mean by harvest and what the heck is the Genesis project?! Lory's entire body became stiff as too many questions appeared in her head.

Lory then searched for the Genesis project. She immediately got results but the file was restricted indicating it couldn't be opened using this computer, Lory pulled out the USB and then put it in his pocket.

Lory opened her fists and then looked around it was then, she saw another door leading to a different area but that door also had a key card lock system, hopefully, her lab key card access would work. Lory swallowed down her nervousness, slowly she tapped the key card in front of the machine but this time she heard a 'Piit' sound indicating her access was denied

"Hey, you!"

Lory's back instantly becomes tensed 'Dam* she was caught!' Lory didn't know what to do then turned around and pretended to be upset "How come the card is not working" See how relaxed Lory was the lab technician let her guard down, "You cannot access the ground floor with that card" said the lab technician.

"What? why does it always happen to me" Lory let out an exaggerated sigh, then she turned her gaze to the lab technician, "I'm sorry, I was sent here a few days ago so a lot of think I don't know but someone told me I can get down there with my card, what should I do know, should I inform the security or someone but I got an urgent matter to take for Miss Reynolds. Oh my god, I can lose my job if make mistakes again!" Lory expressed her frustration like a professional actress.

The lab technician feels bad for her "Who told you that, don't tell me Is it Julie, It's Julie right?"

Lory froze, thankfully she wore a face mask so the lab technician could not see Lory's mouth open like a fool. But she immediately collected themselves, she lowered her gaze as if she was too scared to speak.

"I know it!" The lab technician took that as affirmation. She looked at Lory sympathetically but suddenly they were startled by a voice from the intercom saying: "There is trouble outside, we are temporarily prohibiting anyone from leaving the room until we give further notice - I repeat, no one is allowed to leave the room until we give further notice"

All the lab technicians were stunned they look each other warily. Lory gasped in fright "My goodness, what should we do now, I need to get the key to get the access key?" Lory whined pitifully.

"I think we cannot go out for sometimes, here take my access card and get whatever that Bit+h told you, I don't know why that old hag bullies all the young women?!" the lab technician woman handed her keycard freely while whingeing about the woman named Julie.

Lory pretended to be surprised, "Really?" she didn't know who Julie was but she thanked her from the bottom of her heart, "I don't know what to say, thank you"

"It's nothing, is not like we can go out from here anytime soon," said the lab technician.

"Well, I better go now before" Lory tapped the access card and then rushed away after she heard the Beep.

When she entered the room she heard Lloyd's voice, "Princess, we should retreat now, the enemy has noticed us!"

"No can't do, I was too close to find out what they're planning in here" whispered Lory as she went down the stairs. "Follow the plan C, You guys retreat first, and Lydia, I want you to get everyone to hide in Bellerophon, and stay low-key until we get you!"

"Okay..." Lydia sounded reluctant.

"We'll get our gear, then we'll pick you up, Your Highness," Lloyd said.

"You got one hour princess before we blew up the place" Garrof reminded her.

"Can we help?" Owen begged.

No, just do as Her Majesty says!" Garrof immediately rejected it.

"Tsk, okay" Owen reply dejectedly.

"Hey, stop moping, I have important work for the three of you, I will send you the information I got to Lydia's phone, then I want you to give that phone to Bellerophon's manager, Hadius. Lydia you've met him before, right" Lory took out her cell phone and then transferred all the data from the USB to Lydia's cell phone, it only took five seconds before the data she transferred was complete.

"Yes, I knew him" Lydia remembered the dignified old man from the Bellerophon.

The reason Lory didn't dare send it directly to Bellerophon was because she was afraid that someone could trace it directly to Bellerophon because skilled hackers like Jason and Jay would easily track where this data was sent if somehow they could get her cell phone, though the possibility is very small still Lory didn't want to take that risk.

"Alright!" Owen's voice was excited again.

"We will not disappoint you," added Daniel.

"Please be careful, Princess," Lydia can't stop worrying for Lory despite knowing how strong Lory was.

"I will, you all take care of yourselves!" Lory ended their conversation.
