Seeing there was indeed a lot of tofu left in the basket, Mrs. Bai and the others reluctantly accepted.

Guo Huiniang then distributed the leftovers to everyone.

The children cheered at the news.

The old master looked at the new house nearby, then at his laughing children, feeling a weight lifting off him. Life for the Lin family was genuinely turning around for the better.
