The Rejected Alpha's Vengeance

Chapter 594 The Thoughts That Kept Us Alive

[HAWI]

It wasn't surprising for the wolves to see Hawi shed a tear after the long night.

They had expected that of her for a long time now, and seeing her like that got them relaxing. The girl had gone through so much and they hadn't been able to help her like they would have wished to do so.

She had left home without letting them console her and it was a regret that they all held in the new Sicario. So, when she shed her first tear, they collectively emitted pheromones to make her feel loved and wanted by them.

It was the only way they knew to tell her that they loved her without swarming her with highs and affection. Their leaders would do that on their behalf and they didn't have a complaint about that.

"Let it out, sister. I'm here for you, we all are. It is okay," Elodie reassured softly.

Hawi felt like her emotions were responding to Elodie's touch a little too much than she had expected. Her words and the pheromones around her were too comforting and he felt like he was with them.

And so, she let out her tears, and sobbed without holding back. She wept for the girl she had been, the girl she was, and the girl she was meant to be, not to mention the girl she had to be for Ruru this time.

It was all a lot for her to handle and she felt like the world was just a palace for her.

The place that was meant to be home had taken away her happiness after just five years. It was something that she hadn't been able to comfort about this time, she wasn't going to let Islinda decide her fate like that.

"You won't ever be alone again," the wolves let her know through the music they had been blasting across all of the new Sicario. It was a really beautiful and heartwarming gesture that even got the knights feeling better about all of this. Their leader was back and they didn't have to fight anymore. They didn't have to try and make things a little easier because Hawi would always know what to do. She was their guardian angel and they would be hers. Oh, how she was so loved.

With the music, Hawi felt loved. She felt a lot of things that they were expressing to her and frankly, she felt lucky. Her Ruru would definitely love to be in this moment. It was the one thing that gave Hawi hope.

Perhaps someday when the deal with the goddess was over, they would be able to make it make sense right? Until then, she would let her wolves try to fix her in any way they knew how for today.

Those that wanted to command hug her, she let them. Your next journey awaits at My Virtual Library Empire

Those who sang for her, she let them. It was her way of reminding them that they were important to her too.

If it had been any other day before winning the war against the Russels, Hawi would have been skeptical because back then her people were slaves to their loyalty to Jeremiah, the same man who wanted to fuck her up more than once.

However, this time, she was here and happy, that was all that mattered to her. And so, she let them enjoy the moment with her, having their fin even as the second night neared.

"May I please have your attention!" Hawi said and the wolves stared at her confidently as they stared silent. They had all been waiting for this moment and now that it was here with them.

The new Sicario wolves were excited to hear from their alpha, but a part of them was also scared of what would come from her mouth. Hawi had always been unpredictable and all the times that she had addressed them, she was always bound to leave for a longer time.

It was like she had been prepping them for so many years and right now, they could only hope that she didn't leave.

They didn't want her to, because she was just home. They needed her to stay longer and hopefully, in whatever she was going to say, goodbye wasn't to be one of them.

"Good evening," Hawi began once the wolves were seated in front of her. She hadn't seen the numbers be this huge, but right now, as she looked at them, she wondered if there was even an easy time with them.

They were more than she could count and see from a distance and that went on to say a lot about their system of reproduction. Of course, Hawi wasn't opposed to it, but she wondered how with all these people, her friends hadn't gotten insane or murdered some.

She wasn't suggesting that for them, no. but she knew her friends too well.

The Savasci knights had the worst tempters out there and they were never to be fucked with. On their good days they were goof balls but on other days when they were pissed, they were the devils who couldn't be reined in, unless Hawi was the one doing that.

It was interesting, rightly because her friends were not the kind to call to order this large a number, and yet here they were. Her misfits had done a spending job and she was more than glad to have them on her side.@@novelbin@@

"It has been three hundred and one years since I last called such an assembly. I honestly didn't expect that the numbers would be this huge, but I am glad to know that despite the large numbers, you didn't push the knights into a corner and force them to use force on you.

"I am happy that you did well, all of you. I know it hasn't been easy with all that happened in the past, and with mine and Ruru's disappearances, it definitely had to have taken a toll on you," Hawi began and the wolves gasped as she referred to Ruru's death as an absence.

That right there was the first maker of how hurt she still was.

Their alpha was still grieving the death of her mate and they couldn't blame her.

Absence was bound to make the heart grow fonder and yet up until, last week, Hawi had been mourning the girl who made her the happiest of them all.

She had spent all those years trying to figure out what happened and then she came here and now Hawi had followed her back home. It was a gamble for Hawi, but this was one she was more than ready to lose everything in, or gain all that she possibly could.

"I have a lot to say, but I also don't have a lot to say. I am just thankful to all of you for making our home better and for protecting each other even with the dome down. The choice to trust you seemed to have been a good one and you didn't disappoint.

"So, thank you. I know you want to know whether I will be leaving Sicario again or even what will be the way forward for me here. I am back home, as a child of Sicario. I won't seek any titles…"
