The four inheritance finalists exchanged glances—three of them instinctively retreating a few steps away from Minos. He remained still, his relaxed smile aimed at his opponents, though his thoughts lingered on Devdar and those enigmatic words about the Upper Realm.

As he mentally reviewed the rules for this round, Minos realized something his competitors likely hadn't yet grasped about this last contest. Yet he kept his insight to himself, intrigued by how his opponents had grown stronger after all those years.

"My friends, we've come a long way," he announced confidently. "I'll give you full rein to unleash everything you've built until now—before we conclude this last dance." With that, he retracted his aura inwardly, granting the three a chance to act freely.

The trio couldn't help but feel both irritated and resigned by Minos' confident stance; his favoritism was undeniable. None of them were confident they could best him, which made granting them this window of opportunity their only chance to prove how far they had come.

Each of them, much like Minos himself, had been brought to this dimension by Devdar. They had scarcely enjoyed more than a few dozen seconds at their progression sites for the 13th stage before losing control and slipping into a state of dormancy, waiting out the last of their trials.

Soli offered a bitter smile before channeling all her emotions into her power, aiming it directly at Minos with a determined glint in her eyes—a silent challenge to at least gain his acknowledgment of her strength.
