Lin Qingze was having dinner.

His communicator vibrated, and he frowned.

As the acting dean of Noah Academy, there really were too many things to deal with on a daily basis.

Some trivial matters were rather annoying.

After glancing at the communicator, Lin Qingze’s expression changed in an instant.

It was Xu Mo!

Then it was nothing serious.

He opened the communicator; it was a voice message.

“Someone wants to kill me. Can I defend myself?”

Xu Mo’s voice came through, along with location sharing.

Lin Qingze’s heart skipped a beat, and his eyes narrowed suddenly.

Xu Mo was studying at the academy, and no one knew about his super S talent. Who would want to kill him?

But now was not the time to think about that.

“You may use any means necessary. If necessary, invoke the academy’s name, say you are my student, protect yourself, and wait for support,” Lin Qingze replied.

He took a closer look at the location and dialed a number.

“Good evening, Dean Lin,” the chubby Sun on the communicator greeted, feeling a bit nervous.

“Chubby Sun, get on your flying device right now and help me rescue someone, immediately,” Lin Qingze said with a serious expression.

Rescuing a Desert Hunter? Those few that Xiao Xiao knew.

He had quite a memorable impression of one particularly thick-skinned kid.

Chubby Sun’s eyes bulged with realization that the youth was right beside him all along.

How could he not realize it immediately with Lin Qingze taking this so seriously? Of course, it had to be that rumored S, not just any newcomer but one of those young Desert Hunters.

“Got it.” Chubby Sun dashed onto the flying device.

The flying device shot out energy light and soared into the sky.

This was a rescue for his future son-in-law!

Lin Qingze put down the communicator. Chubby Sun wasn’t far away, and he should arrive quickly with the flying device.

And Lin Qingze was, of course, confident in Chubby Sun’s efficiency.

He dialed another number and began, “Check a location for me.”

Xu Mo hadn’t told him that he was at Lin Xi’s place. With just a location, Lin Qingze couldn’t be sure exactly where it was and had to get someone to check.

The best outcome would be if he could leave directly.

Upon hearing Xu Mo’s words, Lin Yuan knew that the other party was telling the truth.

If Lin Xi left, he would be finished.

A figure with sunglasses stepped out from the back; his gun had a thick barrel that emitted dazzling blue Energy Light as if charging up.

“Careful, a B-level weapon.”

Lin Xi cautioned.

Xu Mo’s spiritual power reached out towards the enemy’s gun; the charge finished, and a terrifying blue light burst forth. Xu Mo’s spiritual power was released to the max, but it still couldn’t stop the explosion of energy.

The energy level of a B-level weapon exceeded his load capacity, but still, it slowed down the Energy Light’s advance.

He stepped forward, his War Saber cleaving directly into the oncoming Energy Light.

“Boom.” The War Saber struck the Energy Light, causing an explosion. Xu Mo almost lost grip of his saber, and his body was pushed back a few steps.

The enemy charged up again, but this time, Xu Mo’s War Saber roared as it flew straight out, speeding towards the target.

The color drained from the man’s face as he saw the Saber accelerate.

He tried to dodge, but the War Saber, as if guided, pierced right through his head, causing his body to collapse backward, his Energy Gun firing blue Energy Light into the air where it exploded.

“Drive the car, Sister Xi.” Xu Mo said as more genetically modified humans charged forward. Ye Qingdie fired continuously, blasting them away.

Lin Xi had already started the vehicle, and everyone began to pile in.@@novelbin@@

“Get in.” Lin Xi opened the passenger side door, and Xu Mo rushed in, the vehicle immediately started to leave.

“Smash.” The rear glass shattered, Elsa and the others ducked down, and Ye Qingdie took up a gun to fire at those following, killing them.

“Boom, boom…” One car after another started up, chasing after Xu Mo and his group.

In the last luxury commercial vehicle, Ming Hui sat quietly watching all this.
