Chapter 188 - 80 Gathering at Extraordinary Academy

Chapter 188: Chapter 80 Gathering at Extraordinary Academy

After entering the Super God Arena several times, Xu Mo had gained a certain understanding of it.

He ‘kindly’ questioned the people inside and learned some details.

The Super God Arena accommodates one hundred people from around the globe, engaging in duels within the same arena. Each time one person exits, the trial for the Sky Trial Field opens up for the contender deemed most worthy in the Ruins World; the successful one enters.

What ‘exiting’ meant was that someone’s Source Power Level had elevated, no longer matching the current arena. To re-enter the Super God Arena, one needed to challenge and gain entry permission from a higher-level arena.

In other words, he was previously deemed the prime choice by the Ruins World, and he filled the spot in this Super God Arena after the previous combatant exited.

This also implied that these were some of the strongest people globally at the Source Power Level B minus.

...

Of course, it was possible that some had no interest in the Ruins World or the Super God Arena.

Clearly, Steel Dome City was a little behind in terms of news from the Ruins World. The information he managed to gather suggested that challengers even had strategies targeting the Super God Arena.

Here, one could encounter the strongest group within the same level.

Moreover, upon departure, the Super God Arena would distribute rewards based on points scored.

The higher the points, the better the rewards.

Xu Mo thought back to the rewards he received when he challenged the Sky Trial Field: one billion points, A-grade Combat Skills, entry rights to the Super God Arena.

Therefore, if one’s battle record was exceptional, the rewards from the Super God Arena could be even higher.

Could there be S-grade Combat Skills as a reward?

At this moment, Xu Mo’s performance in the Super God Arena was:

Kills: 35.

Deaths: 0.

Super God Arena Points: 1091.

The higher-ranked the killed opponent, the more points gained.

Death would result in points being deducted.

At that time, above the ruins of the Super God Arena, two figures stood opposite each other.

One of them was none other than Xu Mo.

The person opposite him held black Double Shields, a Shield in each hand, though the Shields were relatively small, held in hand, with dark Energy Light flowing across the black Shields.

Aus, ranked fifth in the Super God Arena points leaderboard, was skilled in Shield Strikes.

In the distance, from various directions, figures stood aloft, watching the battle below, but none of them intervened or attempted a stealth attack.

Points were important, yes.

But compared to points, their purpose in coming to the Super God Arena was self-improvement, to exchange moves with the experts.

The Hunter with a 35-kill streak was now facing Aus, ranked fifth in points, and they certainly couldn’t miss such a showdown.

Perfect, they’d see the limits of this fierce newcomer.

Aus was not easy to handle.

War Saber against Double Shields.

“Bang.”

Aus charged, his body lunging forward like a humanoid beast, terrifyingly fast and with tremendous impact.

Xu Mo placed one foot back and then fiercely kicked off the ground, charging forward with War Sabers in hand, maneuvering his Source Power.

From his experience in duels with other experts, those ranked in the top five on the leaderboards were certainly not easy to fight.

As the two neared each other, Aus raised his right-hand Shield, slamming it towards Xu Mo with force.

Xu Mo raised his Saber in response, the right-hand War Saber slashing out with quadruple force, Overclocking Slash.

“Boom…”

A fearsome Power collided, and Xu Mo also felt layers of wild force stacking up on the domineering Shield, a Power in no way inferior to his.

Both men leaned forward, managing to prevent any retreat. Aus withdrew his right-hand Shield, his left-hand Shield once again thundering in an attack, the Double Shields unleashing explosive force.

The War Saber was long, and for Xu Mo to retract it for a left-hand attack wasn’t as convenient as using a Shield; he wouldn’t be quick enough.

So, when the left-hand Shield blasted towards him, Xu Mo could only perform a horizontal slash with his right-hand War Saber.

Another explosive force arrived, sending Xu Mo flying, forcing consecutive retreats.

“Bang.”

Aus surged forward, leaped into the air, his Double Shields striking in unison towards Xu Mo’s head. If the colliding Shields hit, even in Battle Armor, one could be crushed to a pulp.

In the nick of time, as the Shields descended, Xu Mo stepped back to avoid.

The clashing Shields emitted an intense noise, even causing the space to tremble.

“Afraid to take it?” Aus stared at Xu Mo and spoke.

From within his black Battle Armor, Xu Mo’s eyes fixed on his adversary as he sheathed his left-hand Saber.

Although he was trained in dual Sabers, Double Shields had a natural advantage over them.

Thus, he kept only one War Saber.

“Brace yourself,” Xu Mo said to Aus.

Aus was momentarily taken aback.

He was to brace?

Xu Mo lifted his War Saber, the Source Power Field converging on the blade, with Energy Light flickering.

“Bang.”

Xu Mo stepped forward, his body charging with terrifying speed.

“Good,” replied Aus, unafraid and ready for a head-on fight. It mattered not who he battled.

The War Saber sliced through the air, emitting a hissing sound, Overclocking vibrations hitting one of the Shields.

A terrifying Power caused Aus’s arm, gripping the Shield, to tremble. Had his opponent’s Power suddenly surged?

There was no time to ponder; Xu Mo delivered a second slash.

Faster and fiercer.

“Boom…”

Another violent collision took place, with Aus’s Shield vibrating intensely.

Xu Mo’s entire body tilted as the Saber gleamed continuously.

“Bang, bang, bang…”

Under repeated impacts, Aus was pushed back. An extremely wild Source Power erupted within him, Energy Light, domineering and vast, flowed on his Armor, then funneled into his Shields.

Energy Dominating Body.

Both engaged in a round of frenzied combat.

Xu Mo’s Saber was incredibly swift; Aus’s Double Shields and arms moved as one, each Shield strike as crushing as a punch, sheerly invincible.
