While I was planning for the world tour, news came about the Rutgurd House. William won the trial and once again became the heir of the house but with much stricter conditions. He couldn't act as before and that is to be expected after the fiasco a few years back.

That fiasco is a black mark on the House Rutgurd and would be remembered for years. It was a shameful act that made them bow their heads. One of their youngsters, not any youngster, the heir to the house plotted to kill a junior because he fancied that junior's fiance.

It was a blasphemy to take away someone's wife or fiance. Added to that, they both plotted the boy's demise and for that, they used another kid who has beef with that junior.

It is pretty much a black mark for them. So, there is no way that they would let him run as he wanted. Since now William regained his position, though, with strict conditions, he can still send some unnamed goons after me.

Since he has no idea about my true rank, he would certainly underestimate me and that would certainly work in my favour.

William winning back his position as the heir could work a bit in my favour but also not. He can't act directly and that means if he were on the losing edge, then he may not bring disaster to me hoping to kill me along with himself. Enjoy more content from My Virtual Library Empire

Most of the goons would be trying to escape if they see that they may not win as it was just a job for them. To William though, it was not a job, but to clear an Inner Demon.

This world is not a cultivation world or a world where one's strength would be increased based on the absorption of energy using meditation or something like that. Here rank levels are increased by killing other beings and ranks can be increased by completing the promotion missions.

So, there is no need to fear Inner Demons blocking their progress but those would cause trouble for one's sanity. Inner Demons are after all not real ones, rather dangers that we develop in our minds.

There may be no danger because of their existence in one's path to power but they may mislead your path.

I mean, in this world killing creatures increases one's level and that includes other humans. Killing bandits or other criminals or enemies that attack you is well and good but killing someone of the same race unnecessarily is not a good thing.

That is how one becomes a bandit or murderer and would be actively hunted down.

I mean, many did these things. There are many who experimented on humans in order to improve their strength quickly.

Whether a process world or not, to test it one would need guniea pigs and humans make the best guniea pig as these experiments are ultimately to improve humans afterall.

This is why it is better to have a better state of mind. Losing minds even a bit would make us do things that we may not do and would cause trouble in the long run.

Anyway, that is for William to worry about, not me.

I have planned everything that I would do. Most of the things would be changed with time but I drew a rough plan for my tour.

Now I have to inform Celine and wait for her reply. Depending on her situation, the start of the tour depends on it. Until then, I should spend some time with my family, at least the ones that would stay here for a while.

My mother had to leave after a few days but the good thing was that she would be free in a year or so.

It means by the time I return, she will be at home, which is a very good thing. She is the only Tier-7 ranker of the family at this point and being away from the family for a long time is not good for the family's development.

My father has eradicated most of the scum from the family but not everyone. There were a few rats that survived the purge and due to the situation we were in back then, he had to stop the purge. Given time, those rats would multiply again and without proper deterrence the growth would be too fast and can cause a lot of damage to the family.

After the last purge, the family lost a lot of strength and because of my mother's breakthrough, no one dared to act as they wanted. There were a few clashes but that's on the low level, and never caused much trouble.

I don't know when I can break into Tier-7 or if I can. With how weird my missions were until now, there is a chance that I would stop at peak Tier-6. So, for now, my mother's presence is needed in the family.

If I could find anything that might improve the chances of breaking through to Tier-7 in this tour, that would be wonderful but the chances of such a thing are very low. It was said that the promotion mission for Tier-7 would not be similar to the missions before.

This one would be difficult and also have to achieve something in addition to a quest. This achievement would be different for different people similar to those missions. So, there is no way to prepare in advance for that. This is why many wouldn't reach Tier-7, even if they were considered geniuses at an early age.

Most forces consist of Tier-6 and below. These are the ones that fight and die before any Tier-7 or above appear. Achieving Tier-7 rank is not an easy feat and that is no one would want to die, and would be very cautious with whom they fight.

Reaching Tier-7 is very difficult but even so, I can sincerely hope and try to break into Tier-7. Once that was achieved, the number f beings that can threaten me in this world would be reduced to a very low number.

I can be free, not totally free but better than what I am now. My mother is Tier-7 but there are still people that can threaten her in the kingdom alone.@@novelbin@@

Think about the empire and other races.

No matter how high one rises, there would be someone higher than us, though that number would decrease as we reach higher. That is what I want to achieve, so that I can live in peace.
