The Tycoon's Enchanted Mermaid

Chapter 103: 103: Ah Da's Blessing

Chapter 103: Chapter 103: Ah Da’s Blessing

“Pearl carries blessings and the protection of Blue Sea. May you from now on be safe and smooth, happy and joyful.”

Ah Da, with her eyes closed and brow shining with a soft light, appeared extraordinarily sacred as she spoke. Holding Qin Yu’s hands in hers, she startled herself when she finished speaking.

She didn’t know why she instinctively made such a gesture; it seemed to be an instinct hidden deep in her memory, or perhaps something she had done a long time ago.

A very familiar feeling.

Ah Da became a bit bewildered.

A gentle kiss shattered the ice that had encased Qin Yu’s heart for years, uncontrollably crushing his rationality. His heart completely lost its rhythm. When the girl in front of him looked up at him, their brief eye contact failed to control the fierce throbbing within.

...

Suddenly Ah Da was lifted off the ground; her slender waist gripped and lifted by two large palms before Qin Yu placed her on the handle of the machine. Seated on the cold iron bar, her little behind unstable, she seemed ready to fall at any moment; the only salvage she had was the tall man pressing close in front of her.

“Qin Yu…”

Ah Da blurted out his name, her small hands clutching his clothes tightly, her soft, trembling voice conveying panic and fear in the face of sudden intimacy.

She didn’t know what was happening.

Looking into his eyes, her heart felt numb from his burning gaze, her fingertips involuntarily shaking.

Under the bright lights, his features were handsome, his skin pale, and his narrow, black eyes like raging, turbulent deep-sea waters, his gaze penetrating, not hiding his current wild desire.

As if he wanted to devour her.

Ah Da dared not move recklessly, afraid of falling, and also afraid of inadvertently triggering his breaking point; inexperienced as she was, her body’s sense of danger was not mistaken.

Qin Yu was really dangerous.

The man’s pale, slender fingers rested on her slim waist, their lines smooth and full of vigor, as he gently caressed her, like a predator pacifying its prey before feeding.

“You provoke me like this; I will only become more excessive.”

“And bully you…”

His thin lips exhaled an almost inaudible sigh, which Ah Da heard, her face flushing rapidly. She hurriedly tried to explain her actions, “I didn’t…”

The words “provoke you” couldn’t come out; perhaps because of his close, scrutinizing gaze, Ah Da was so nervous that her body shook uncontrollably, her speech not clear.

In front of Qin Yu, she always felt powerless to resist.

She felt fear towards him, but also a deeper dependency that had no obvious origin, as if etched into her body and soul.

The hot, hard chest pressed against her, and before Ah Da could stop it, her nape was seized, the strong force compelling her to tilt her head back, her rosy, tender lips parting slightly.

“…Mm…”

Qin Yu, unable to control himself, bent down to kiss the lips he’d long coveted—gentle and sweet, the intoxicating fruity scent, her soft body, everything tempting him to completely possess her.

But he couldn’t.

He opened his eyes slightly; his dark pupils were filled with desire, a mere touch far from enough to calm the turmoil inside him.

But when he met her confused, gleaming eyes, it was as if ice water was poured over him, and everything stopped abruptly.

How to put it.

She was like a delicate cloud trembling lightly in his arms, pure and flawless, unknowing and unaware, even her resistance feeble.

But what he truly desired was far more than just a body.

Her innocent and naive gaze made him feel as though he was committing a crime, although he had never been a good person. Ruthless and decisive in his actions, achieving his goals by any means necessary was the true him.

Yet, in front of Ah Da, he always found himself involuntarily softening his sharp edges, afraid she might get hurt or scared.

At some point, he had been utterly alone, with no concerns, tormented day and night by post-accident complications and insomnia, living seemingly only because he didn’t wish to die, or perhaps not wanting his enemies to take pleasure in his death. Life was pointless; death, even more so.

The world itself had little meaning before she appeared; the only excitement he could find came from a hail of bullets and the power firmly grasped in his hands.

His vulnerability had now genuinely manifested—he knew she would become his weakness, yet he consciously descended into the abyss.

Finally, with a somber expression, Qin Yu gently stroked her blushed face, his long fingers tangled in the tendrils of hair by her ear, his cool lips landed on her forehead amidst her puzzled gaze,

Seriously, with a sense of cherishing.

In that instant, their heartbeats nearly synchronized.

Ah Da’s pupils dilated slightly; she inadvertently held her breath, as if under some sort of paralyzing spell, feeling an intense heat on her forehead where he had touched her, as if it was about to burn.

Everything was chaotic and disordered, until it ended, then Ah Da gasped for fresh air with her mouth open.

“How silly can you be, just a touch and you stop breathing, what will you do in the future? Do you want to suffocate yourself?”

Qin Yu chuckled lightly, one hand supporting her back against the treadmill handle, the other gently massaging her nape, helping her lean on his shoulder to calm down.

Having snapped back to reality, Ah Da realized she had been “truly” bullied; blushing, she punched his back. The attempt hurt her own hand instead, leaving her eyes reddening with grievance.

“Why do that?” Qin Yu frowned, grabbing her small hand, holding it tight in his palm to prevent her from moving.

Ah Da disapproved, pushing against his arm with her other hand, “Don’t want you, let me down now.”

Dangling her feet off the ground, she felt entirely insecure, like a small cat whose fate he firmly gripped by the neck.

“Don’t want me, who do you want then?”

Qin Yu’s eyes darkened as he forcibly embraced the squirming, angry kitten in his arms. Her little claws made red marks on his arm, she kicked her legs, her eyes reddening even more.

“Don’t want anyone.”

Ah Da, unable to free herself, resorted to her last trick, opening her mouth to bite down hard on the closest part.

“Hiss~”

Qin Yu’s neck was suddenly bitten; it was mildly painful, clearly, the little cat was in a panic, he had to let go or else he might lose “Pearl”. Reluctantly, he supported her waist and set her down.

Due to the height difference, Qin Yu had to bend to set her down on the ground. The little girl clung to his neck, even performing some slight swallowing motions, Qin Yu, thinking of something, slightly curved the edges of his mouth, indulgently massaging her head.

“Didn’t you say you don’t want me? Is this revenge too?”

Ah Da’s dazed eyes slowly cleared, and at some point, her arms had tightly wrapped around Qin Yu’s neck, pressing close as if afraid he might leave.

The lotus-like arm slowly slid down her neck, the small girl appeared stunned, her small face of stunning beauty, messy hair highlighting her remarkably pale skin, lips a bright red that diluted her pure, lotus-like aura, adding a touch of alluring charm.

Qin Yu’s eyes darkened slightly, he lifted her chin, gently wiping the blood from the corner of her mouth.

Ah Da lifted her watery eyes, clutched his hand, and gazed at his swollen neck with a clear bite mark, “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to.”

Qin Yu held her chin, squinting his eyes, “It’s okay, you don’t need to apologize.”

“No,” Ah Da shook her head, Qin Yu seemed intent on nurturing her with blood, and she knew this was wrong.
