Chapter 136: Chapter 136: The Lu Family Also Gets Involved

“What’s the matter?” Qin Yu looked back.

Ah Da felt a bit embarrassed and didn’t dare to look at him, only tugging at the hem of his clothes while her slender white fingers pointed gently, “Do you want to say hello to them?”

Qin Yu looked in the direction she was pointing. Inside the glass display, porcelain vases and the Jade Pot were elegantly colored and neatly arranged on the top, indistinguishable from the other antiques around.

“…”

A rare look of astonishment appeared on Qin Yu’s cold, pale face. Ah Da couldn’t help but chuckle, finding it rather funny to imagine him formally greeting the two antiques.

Better not, after all.

Ah Da took the initiative to hug his arm and introduced him.

“This is Qin Yu, the one I told you before who released me from the incense burner.”

With this revelation, the Little Pink Bottle and the Jade Pot started to tease. Qin Yu seemed unhappy with this introduction, his expression slightly cold.

Ah Da immediately added “boyfriend” timidly, and only then Qin Yu’s expression softened somewhat.

Little Pink Bottle: “Tsk tsk, the little incense burner is doomed, totally wrapped around her finger. But, having seen countless people, just based on looks, Qin Yu is definitely the best.”

“Hands down.” The Jade Pot echoed.

Qin Yu asked if they were talking. Ah Da truthfully relayed, “They said you are good-looking.”

“Really?” Qin Yu raised an eyebrow.

Ah Da bit her lip, her round eyes blinking; was he pleased?

The Little Pink Bottle started teasing again.

“Suddenly being fed some sweet nothings, and now they start flaunting their affection. I’m getting jealous. Had I known, I wouldn’t have watched.”

The Jade Pot joked, “What, are you also feeling the spring stir? If you want to date, you better work hard on your cultivation. Always being lazy, you’ll never leave the museum at this rate.”

“Jade Pot, you’ve betrayed me, woo woo woo, you used to tell me the museum provided food and accommodation, safe and comfortable— a secure job. Listen to what you’re saying now!”

Previously, when it saw couples, it only admired them from afar. Now seeing the little incense burner, the Little Pink Bottle genuinely felt its defenses breaking down.

The Jade Pot disdainfully said, “Stop crying and act properly. Your crying sounds awful and freaks everyone out in broad daylight.”

“I’ll cry if I want to! You tricked me!”

“Who tricked you?”

“You did! It was you!”

“Turning the tables, making a scene for no reason.”

The two began arguing again. Ah Da, laughing, joined in, “With so much energy, why not spend tonight cultivating properly? Later, I and the Bronze Sword will take you to some nice places to eat in the Capital City; there are lots of fun places.”

Little Pink Bottle, sobbing: “Now that you’ve mentioned it, I feel even sadder. I want to hang out with you guys right now.”

Originally, the Little Pink Bottle was quite content in the An Family’s museum, but now it was becoming increasingly restless, all thanks to the little incense burner always talking about fun things outside.

It, too, wished it could grow legs and run everywhere.

“Playing is just your excuse; you actually want to fall in love,” exposed the Jade Pot.

“Slandering the pure me, Jade Pot, that’s too much.”

“What now?”

“Argh! I’m so angry, little incense burner. You must stand up for me. Look at it, always bullying me.”

The young girl bent down in from of the glass, her braids dangling over her chest, her fair and delicate face animated and radiant, her rosy lips occasionally opening and closing as she whispered some comforting words—utterly adorable.

Qin Yu couldn’t take his eyes off her lips, having deeply tasted her flavor not so long ago.

The sweet taste of fruit.

Fingertips grazing, after a moment, Qin Yu clumsily shifted his gaze to the other antiques beside him.

The people in the exhibition hall were all blocked outside by Long Jiu and Long Qi, with the museum head, Liu Cheng, standing beside them, his expression peculiar. He couldn’t understand what wind had blown today that Mr. Qin graced them with his presence, and even Mr. Lu from the Lu Family had come to join in.

The items that attracted the attention of these two important figures were indeed related,

such as the stunning young girl standing beside Mr. Qin and the four-legged porcelain vase and white jade teapot in Hall No. 3. It wasn’t surprising that the girl attracted attention, but why these two antiques? Was there something special about them?

Liu Cheng couldn’t figure it out and looked up at the two individuals in the hall, a tall, handsome man and a delicate, agile girl. From their appearances, they were undoubtedly a well-matched pair.

Unfortunately, it was too far to hear any sound, but from their actions, it could be vaguely seen that they seemed to be interacting with the antiques?

This…

was too strange.

Little Pink Bottle and Jade Pot were clamoring that next time they wanted to see Bronze Sword, saying they hadn’t seen her in a long time, Ah Da nodded and promised, “Okay, I’ll tell her. She’s busy filming right now, but she’ll definitely come to visit when she finds time.”

Upon leaving the museum, Ah Da sent the photos she had taken with her phone to Bronze Sword, pictures that they had vehemently requested, telling her not to forget them.

Ah Da didn’t know that at that moment, on the third floor of the museum, behind the dark one-way glass, a man sat watching her, his expression indifferent, fingers lightly spinning a cellphone.

It wasn’t until she got into the car that Lu Jing stood up.

In Hall No. 3, Liu Cheng and two female employees followed cautiously behind Lu Jing, not daring to make a sound.

Lu Jing walked straight to the exhibit of the pink porcelain vase and Jade Pot, observing them intently, his thin lips pressed into a straight line.

The quieter the exhibition hall became, the more nervous Liu Cheng felt, cautiously asking, “Mr. Lu, do you have any questions?”

Lu Jing, his lips curling into an ambiguous smile, slowly raised his hand and tapped the glass twice with his long fingers.

Inside the display case, Little Pink Bottle and Jade Pot looked at each other.

After getting into the car, Qin Yu didn’t head directly back to Wuqiong Water Pavilion but said he had booked a restaurant to take her to taste some food.

Regarding food, Ah Da naturally was pleased. It took half an hour by car to reach a high-end private restaurant located halfway up a hill, with an advantageous geographical position and a broad perspective.

The evening sun was orange, the sky gradually transitioning in layers, overlooking the endless high-rise buildings standing like a forest, the lights slowly brightening, together forming a brilliant tapestry, the entire city beneath them, utterly breathtaking.

Ah Da ran to the railing and watched the scenery for a good while.

Qin Yu had booked the whole place, and only the staff was busy in the restaurant, by the window a natural spring ceaselessly bubbled water, making a clear and pleasant “ding-dong” sound.

The environment and the cuisine complemented each other, exquisite plate presentations, tempting colors, and saliva-inducing aromas made Ah Da thoroughly enjoy her meal until her flat belly slightly bulged before she stopped.

Every dish was delicious.

Ah Da squinted her eyes satisfactorily.

Qin Yu took her hand and rose, taking her to the paths surrounding the restaurant for a walk to aid digestion.

The mountain at night had its own flavors, under the streetlights, Ah Da, like a bird spreading its wings soaring through the trees, joyfully bounced and hopped along, accompanied by her silvery voice.

“Qin Yu, there’s something moving over here,”

Ah Da suddenly pointed at a bush, exclaiming in surprise.

Qin Yu glanced indifferently, “A squirrel.”

Unhurried when seeing people, the squirrel, with its fluffy tail, jumped onto a tree and vanished into the woods after a few bounds.

“It seems not afraid of people,” Ah Da said.

“People come here for walks after meals; the animals here are all raised by guests.”

“Remember the small shop to the left of the entrance? It has food for the animals.” Qin Yu placed his hand on Ah Da’s head, rubbing it, “It’s late, let’s go back.”

Ah Da nodded, and followed Qin Yu back the way they had come.
