Chapter 432 432:Atlantis On Fire[IV]
The city of Atlantis trembled under the raging war. Explosions shook its newly made structures, and shockwaves from superhuman clashes sent debris hurtling through the air. The battle had turned into pure chaos, with warriors from both sides fighting with relentless ferocity.
BOOOM!
A massive blast tore through a section of the building. As the smoke rose outward, a tall figure strode through the wreckage. His presence alone seemed to distort the air around him, warping the surroundings as if space itself bent under his power. With each step, the marble floor cracked, web-like fractures spreading outward.
Laser turrets locked onto him and fired in rapid succession. Beams of burning energy shot toward him, but he moved—leaving behind afterimages. His body flickered like a mirage, dodging every shot with inhuman precision.
Behind him, a squad of warriors followed their movements just as sharp. They raised their weapons and fired in unison, dismantling the cannons and automated defenses without hesitation, clearing a path through the battlefield.
The man finally came to a halt at the center of the ruined hall. His crimson eyes scanned the area before resting on a lone figure standing ahead.
A woman.
"You are certainly different," Suri's cold, indifferent voice echoed through the broken chamber.
The man's lips curled into an amused grin. His very presence radiated authority, an oppressive power that filled the space. "Of course, I am. There are ranks among the Xenomorphs, and I belong to the royal lineage."
Suri's eyes narrowed. She had already learned from Aurora that these creatures could alter their forms, making it nearly impossible to discern which one was the real Walter.
"So, are you Walter?" she asked, her arms folded, her tone devoid of fear but carrying faint tension.
The man's grin widened. He reached up and removed his helmet, revealing a face filled with arrogance.
"I am the real one."
Suri remained still, her icy gaze locked onto him. Then, in a flat tone, she replied. "Only time will tell."
And then, she moved.
A shockwave erupted from her fist as she launched forward, the sheer force of her punch blasting through the air like a cannon shot.
Walter's eyes flickered in surprise as the impact struck him, sending out a deafening boom that echoed through the ruins.
Walter shook his head, clearing the ringing from his ears—only to realize that Suri was already upon him.
The soldiers behind him rushed forward, their weapons drawn and ready to protect their leader.
BAD MOVE.
Suri's figure blurred, and in an instant—
CRASH!
A soldier was sent flying backwards at terrifying speed, smashing through a thick steel door. His body left a deep dent in the metal before falling limp.
The rest of the warriors charged, their superhuman abilities kicking into full gear.
BANG!
Suri sent another flying with a brutal knee to the gut.
BOOM!
Another was crushed into the ground with a spinning back fist.
She moved like a ghost, appearing and disappearing between them, her strikes landing with bone-shattering force. The Xenomorph warriors were tough, their bodies regenerating from the attacks, and even after being knocked down they rose up again, unfazed.
A group of them lunged at her at once.
[Aim for their heads, Miss Suri.] Aurora's voice cut through the battle.
Suri's cold gaze flickered with understanding as she nodded.
With a sharp motion, her laser blades ignited.
SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!
The blades of deadly blue light cut through the air, slicing cleanly through the enemies. Heads rolled. Bodies collapsed.
The moment their regeneration was rendered useless, they crumbled to the ground, lifeless.
And then—
CLAP. CLAP.
A slow, mocking applause echoed.
"Interesting… very interesting… truly fascinating," Walter's voice rang out.
Before Suri could react, his figure blurred.
BOOM!
Walter appeared behind her, his fist already swinging.
Suri's instincts screamed, and she twisted, just in time, to block the attack.
Their fists met.
A shockwave erupted from the impact, shattering the marble tiles beneath their feet.
The force sent a rippling wind blast through the ruins, toppling broken pillars and cracking the walls.
Walter grinned. "Not bad."
Suri's face remained unreadable, her sharp eyes studying him. Then, she struck back.
She whipped her leg up, aiming for his ribs.
Walter caught it—
But Suri twisted mid-air, using the momentum to flip and deliver a spinning heel kick to his temple.
BAM!
Walter staggered, but instead of being thrown back, he planted his foot and retaliated, almost instantly.
His elbow rammed into Suri's stomach, sending a shockwave through her entire body. She clenched her jaw and absorbed the impact, then twisted—countering with a brutal uppercut.
BOOOOM!
Walter's body flew backwards, slamming into the far wall, causing the entire structure to cave in.
Dust and debris filled the air, but before it could even settle—
Walter burst out of the rubble.
He lunged at Suri, and the two collided mid-air.
They exchanged punches at lightning speed, their fists clashing with the force of explosions. Each clash sent shockwaves rippling through the battlefield, leaving destruction in their wake.
Suri drove her knee into Walter's ribs, producing a sickening crack.

Walter roared and swung his arm in a wild haymaker, forcing Suri to duck.
She retaliated with a vicious elbow to his jaw, snapping his head to the side.
Walter grinned yet again.
Before she could pull back, his hand clamped around her wrist.
"Got you."
Before Suri could escape, Walter twisted his body and slammed her into the ground.
BOOOOM!
The impact shattered the ground, carving a deep crater beneath her.
But Suri didn't stop.
She planted her hands on the ground and kicked upward, sending Walter stumbling back.
She then flipped herself back to her feet and spun mid-air before landing with precision.
Walter rubbed his jaw, smirking. "You're strong."
Suri remained silent, her breath steady and her fists clenched.
But Walter wasn't finished.
He charged again, throwing a barrage of punches.
Suri blocked, dodged, and countered, her movements sharp, fluid and relentless.
But—
She was slowly losing ground.
Walter was gradually adjusting to her speed, adapting, and closing the gap.
One punch slipped through—
BAM!
It crashed into her ribs, sending her skidding back.
She barely recovered when—
BAM
Walter's knee rammed into her gut.
Suri gritted her teeth, refusing to buckle.
But—
Walter's arms locked around her, his grip tightening like a vice.
Then—
BOOOOOOOM!
He slammed her into the ground with monstrous force.
The earth cracked, buildings shook, and a deep shockwave spread through Atlantis.
Suri let out a sharp breath as she hit the ground hard, her vision momentarily flickering.
Walter loomed over her, his eyes filled with triumph.
"This fight is over."
"In your dreams."
Suri's smirk sent a cold chill down Walter's spine. Even now, in a position of weakness, her eyes held no fear—only unshaken confidence.
Walter's grip tightened around her, his fingers pressing into her arms like iron chains. "You're smiling?" he sneered. "What's so funny?"
Suri didn't answer.
Instead—
BOOM!
A shockwave exploded from her body.
The very air cracked as an invisible force burst outward, sending tremors through the ground.
Walter's smug expression vanished and his grip faltered for a fraction of a second.
That was all Suri needed.
With lightning speed, she shifted her weight and twisted her body—@@novelbin@@
CRACK!
A vicious headbutt slammed into Walter's nose.
His head snapped back.
Before he could react—
BAM!
Suri's knee drove into his gut, forcing a wheezing gasp from his lips.
Walter stumbled back, coughing. Blood dripped from his nose as he wiped it away, his golden eyes narrowing.
"You annoying little—"
BOOOOM!
But Suri didn't let him finish.
She launched forward, her fist slamming into his jaw.
Walter barely blocked, but the impact sent him skidding backwards, tearing through the broken ground.
Walter clenched his fists. "Enough."
What do you think?
