Chapter 44
"There's no way your face could look bad."
Despite the playful remark, Darcy did not immediately lift his head. However, I could see that his ears, which were not covered, had turned a bright shade of red.
The sight of his ears peeking through his brilliant silver hair was truly striking.@@novelbin@@
If I found this cute, it must be my heart playing tricks on me.
He didn’t realize how much his usual words enchanted me, yet he was surprisingly embarrassed by mine.
When Darcy finally lifted his head, his face was as composed as usual.
A slight disappointment flickered within me.
"If you really want to meet them, I can make it happen."
Darcy sighed softly as he murmured.
"You said only magicians know where other magicians live."
"That's right. Although not all magicians know."
Hmm? What does he mean by that?
I tilted my head in confusion, and Darcy began to speak with a meaningful tone.
Avoiding my gaze, he leaned lazily against the sofa and began to speak.
"You've heard that magicians have been disappearing lately, right?"
"Yes."
"That was my doing."
"What?"
What do you think?
