The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system

Chapter 31 31: Not heaven, but close

Unaware of the dirty plot being hatched against her, Alix was cruising through the smooth road leading to her new residence in the blossom courts with wide eyed innocence.

She and her nanny had their faces out of the windows of the car, gawking like two people that had just been plucked from earth and dropped in heaven.

Well-this was not heaven but if you asked Alix, it was damn well close to it.

The blossom courts was a residence with only five buildings and each had sixty floors.

One would imagine that this would mean the population here was large but that was not the case.

To live in blossom courts, one bought an entire floor, two floors, three or four.

They were not cost friendly apartments but expensive luxurious houses for the wealthy.

Every building had a gym, swimming pool, lobby, bar, spa with sauna and steam bath services.

The buildings shared a large garden, golf course, a smaller entertainment building with a movie hall, tennis and basketball courts. Even a football field and track field.

They also shared a parking lot, and a pavilion that was built around a small pond.

A few times, Alix had to pinch herself to make sure that she was not dreaming and she would really be living in this small piece of heaven from now on. Which building had their new home?

The car came to a stop at the very last building.

"Madam, we are home." Uncle Ju told her.

Even as he said it, the bodyguard had already arrived at her side of the car and opened it for her.

Alix stepped out carefully, putting one foot ahead of the other slowly as she breathed in the fresh air which she convinced herself smelled like money.

As she followed the bodyguard into the building with one arm around her nanny's shoulder, Alix tried not to look as out of place and nervous as she felt.

The inside of the building felt more like a luxury hotel than an apartment building with two visible guards manning the dors. The elegant lobby had shiny marble floors which were so clean that one could almost see their reflection.

There was a welcoming desk with two people sitting behind, a man and a woman in red and black uniforms.

"Madam you should see them first." Her bodyguard suggested.

With a nod of her head, Alix moved to the welcoming desk and smiled.

"Hello, I am Lin Alix a new tenant." she introduced herself.

Both of the people behind the desk stood up and smiled back at her.

"Good evening madam Alix, we have already been told of your arrival and have made appropriate preparations.

This is your key card for the gates and elevators. In case you lose the key card this card has codes which you can manually enter.

Please look into the scanner and place your fingers over here for identification."

She did as she was told, her information and that of her nanny was captured and they both took an elevator up immediately.

"Madam, the house has three interconnected floors, from level fifty eight to sixty." The bodyguard mentioned."

He opened the doors to the house on the fifty ninth floor and finally, Alix stepped foot in the new house in which she hoped to live forever.

Why go elsewhere when you could live here?

Even if she and Caishen did not make it, hopefully she could afford to live in such a place out of her own pocket.

"You have me, what are you worried about?" The system asked her.

"Aah, I have you, I could hug you right now my little blue wealth creator." She replied.

"Madam, I brought you to the second floor directly because the third floor is where we five bodyguards, three drivers and the two housekeepers live. Other than us, there are no other staff in the house.

The second floor has the living room, dining area, kitchen, a play room for Mr.Xiaobo, two studies, a library and a music room. The young master told us to prepare it for you. It also has three guest bedrooms, five bathrooms a zen garden connected to one of the balconies."

Alix was asking herself why Xiaobo had a play room in Caishen's house. He really loved his nephew so much. Would this mean that he would make a wonderful father?

Her face suddenly felt warm as she remembered Holea's words about skinship and it turned strawberry red.

"Young madam, are you alright?" He asked her.

"I am fine, just feeling a little hot." She lied.

The bodyguard was confused as to where the hot feeling was coming from. The house always maintained the perfect temperature, not too hot and not too cold. He continued giving her the tour anyway.

"On the very last floor there are the bedrooms, another study, a sun room. The young master said that the kitten's and canaries house will be set up in the sun room."

"En," she replied.

"Please, excuse me then." He left them to do as they pleased.

"Xi-Xi, what do we do now?" Her nanny asked.

She was thinking about playing music or playing the game. It was she occupied her free time after all.

"Should we look for someone else..." she started to say.

"Young madam," a different voice came from behind them, it was a female voice. "Sorry, I am late in introducing myself. I had no idea that you had arrived."

A middle aged woman in a black skirt with a white shirt and hair that was wound up tightly in a bun came around to look at them.

Tugging along behind her was Xiaobo, Caishen's nephew.

"Young madam, I am Wang Ma, the chef and housekeeper. The other housekeeper is out right now but you will meet her later."

"En." Alix nodded and smiled at the woman. She introduced herself and her nanny first before moving to what captured her interest the most.

"Xiaobo, did you come to visit your uncle?"

Xiaobo who was eating a cookie and using a disposal plate to keep the crumbs falling to the floor shook his head.

"I live here aunt pigeon, err, sorry, aunt Alix." He told her with a mouthful of cookie.

"What about your father?" She asked.

"He is always on the set filming and uncle is responsible for me and my studies so I live with him." Xiaobo explained.

In all this, Alix was almost tempted to ask the boy for the whereabouts of his mother.

"Well at least I won't be lonely with you here." She told him and she ruffled his hair playfully.

"Young madam, the young master had your luggage sent to the master bedroom. Please take a look and see if anything is missing from what was brought.

Your nanny will be living on the second floor."

"No, I will just live on the third floor with everyone. Why would I be on the second floor by myself?" Her nanny refused instantly.

"Really?" Alix asked her. "I thought we would be sharing a bedroom." She mumbled.

Both her nanny and Wang Ma stared at her as if she had lost her mind.

Her nanny flicked her forehead and hissed.

"Why would we share a bedroom? Young lady you are now married, you are not a child anymore. Just walk obediently to the master bedroom as it should be."
