The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system

Chapter 33 33: Waiting for him.

She knew where it was going, they had both been through this before.

"But, how did that person know what I look like?"

How did the only fan she had know that her skin was dry?

"Privileged fans get the chance to see real time images of the gamers they support. You could be famous in another world and not even know."

Alix could not help thinking that it was really weird. So, someone out there in an unknown universe had a picture of her.

Although, if she did become famous for her music strangers here on earth would have images of her in their phones or computers.

How was it any different really?

As she thought things through, she purchased a white dress from a seamstress in the first world. While there, she looked in on the orphans in the church and the priest.

She left the gaming world a few minutes later, dressed up and joined Xiaobo in the living room to watch television and rearrange some music sheets as they watched a movie.

Meanwhile, Caishen was meeting his friends for the first time ever since his involvement in the accident.

They met in a bar to have some wine before heading to their homes. He had four close friends, all of whom he grew up with.

Du Fuzi, the son of an investment banker and an investor himself.

Si Huang Chen, a professional chef, a famous one at that who work in his family's hotel and Dong Rongyan, a doctor who also worked for his family hospital.

The other friend was Gu Biming, his assistant who was not with them tonight.

So far they had chastised Caishen for avoiding them for a year, questioned him on his recovery and slowly but surely, made their way to his marriage as he expected.

"So...married life, huh." Du Fuzi brought it up first so casually.

"Uh-huh." Caishen answered mysteriously.

Si Huang giggled, "Tch, you make it sound so mysterious. Come on buddy, we don't mean to gossip but your marriage to the oldest Lin family's daughter surprised us all."

Caishen shrugged and finished off what was left of the wine in his glass.

"I think I should go home." He said.

"Already!!" Du Fuzi smirked. "Are you whipped or something?"

Caishen raised his eyes and sort of rolled them. He was aware that Du Fuzi wanted him to stay longer so that he could grill him more about his marriage.

"My wife is waiting for me." He told them.

He did not wait for them to respond before pushing his wheel chair back. "I am going now."

"You haven't given me an answer on the construction of a new branch of our hospital. We are discussing business, stay longer." Rongyan slurring over his words and clearly tipsy tried to hold on to Caishen's wheel chair but he slipped and fell on Fuzi's laps.

"Aah, why does he drink like a fish when he can't hold his liquor?" Du Fuzi complained and pushed Rongyan off his laps.

"His mother is surely going to blame me for this when she hears about it." Si Huang groaned and glared at Fuzi. "You were supposed to be watching him."

"Pft, who watches a thirty five year old man, is he a baby? He got drunk because Bei-Bei dumped him, simple." Fuzi looked at Si Huang with pity and shook his head.

"Again?" Rongyan asked in dismay.

"Not again." Caishen said, more calmly than Rongyan.

All three friends groaned, as they imagined the week which would follow as it would be filled with whiny calls and messages from Si Huang about his ex.

"Just get him to his car and send him home. I really do have to go, my wife is waiting for me." Caishen shook his head, gave one last look of pity to Si Huang and left.

An hour later, he was home, and late for dinner as it was coming to nine.

His house had han open floor plan which allowed him to see everything from one angle.

The moment he stepped foot inside, he saw Alix sleeping on a cream sofa, with one foot up on the arm of the chair and another on the ground.

Why is she sleeping like that out here? He asked himself.

"Go," he told his bodyguard.

He came close to where she was first and switched off the television. His eyes moved to the small round glass table which had been pulled closer to the chairs.

On it was a half eaten cake and two forks.

He guessed that Xiaobo was that other cake eater because he had left behind the remote for his gaming console.

He moved his hand to wake her up and he saw a furry thing sleeping on top of her head, the black kitten.

"Oh," he said.

Carefully, her picked up the kitten and put it on her laps. It shifted, climbing along his chest and settled on his shoulder.

He went on to wake Alix up, shaking her carefully as he called her name. It took him three tries to get her to wake up.

To his great amusement, when she did wake up, she mumbled, "Playing the game, I am not slacking off."

Her driver had mentioned her game playing to him. And the console she had which followed them to this house.

Her and Xiobo would probably be terrible influences on each other. Both of them loved gaming after all.

"It's me." He said.

Alix who was now rubbing her eyes, yawned a little bit and shook her head indolently.

"Mmm," she mumbled. "It's you."

"Why are you sleeping down here?" He asked her.

"I have been waiting for you." She told you.

Her words were vivid, and some of the sleep had dispersed from her body so she knew what she was saying.

"I told Wang Ma to serve you dinner and send you off to bed because I was running late. Didn't she tell you?" He asked and frowned.

"She did, but I wanted us to celebrate moving in together. It's our first night." She said softly.

Caishen's eyes widened and his eyebrows equally moved upwards.

What does she mean by our first night? He asked himself. Was she willing to take that step in their marriage already?

"Hey, what are you saying?" He asked her carefully.

Giggling, Alix lightly punched on his chest. "You know."

Caishen opened his mouth, tried to say something and failed so he closed it again. He raised his right hand and opened one button of his shirt.

The house felt warmer than usual.

"It's our first night as a married couple in your house. What are you thinking Zhang Caishen? Tsk, tsk, I finally got you back for teasing me in the morning." She said seriously and laughed.

"Here, eat a fork of cake and we can go to bed." She got a piece of tiramisu cake and held it to his lips.

Obediently, Caishen opened his mouth, and let her feed him.

Before her hand could retreat, he grabbed it and licked every bit of cream on the fork.

On seeing her scandalised face, he smirked and said, "You are right, we should celebrate our first night. Let's go to bed."
