Chapter 344 Trade & Exterminate The Taylor Family
Rita had already grown tired of envying others. She had enjoyed receiving skills from Maple Syrup repeatedly in High Tower, but now, facing the real Maple Burn, she couldn't help but feel bitter.
Rita: "So, if you request a refund, can I return the product?"
Maple Burn: "No, only the buyer can request a refund, but don't worry. If the refund is processed, the product will be returned."
The next moment, a light screen appeared in front of Rita and Nivalis.

Maple Burn said, "And even if I request a refund, you can refuse it. If we can't reach an agreement, we can appeal."
Rita's curiosity was piqued. "Who arbitrates the appeal?"
Maple Burn: "This skill was given to us by my mother. The previous link of the skill is in her hands, so she will be the arbitrator."
Rita & Nivalis: ...
Nivalis, half-frustrated, said, "Should we just kill her?"
Maple Burn's voice had a trace of distress. "Sigh, but if you kill me, I'll just self-destruct with my orange-red wings."
Rita, staying calm, hugged Nivalis, who was growing larger with anger, and patted her. "I can't accept such a risky deal."
Maple Burn wasn't provoking them; she genuinely wanted to reach an agreement. "So what do you suggest?"
Rita asked, "How many times did you transmit the 333 races' languages to Maple Syrup?"
Maple Burn replied, "Only once. I can't give her more than that."
That made sense. If she could transmit unlimited times, it wouldn't be for her to decide. Rita said, "Alright, I'll accept the deal, but the full version of Cheers will be changed to 'All information about Cheers as told by Maple Syrup.'"
Maple Burn muttered, "...You're really greedy!"
After a brief wait, the information on the light screen changed.

[Would you like to accept the trade as the buyer?]
There were more detailed terms for the trade, as Maple Burn had said earlier. Only the buyer could appeal.
Rita hesitated and asked, "Will Maple Syrup be able to see this trade?"
Maple Burn was honest. "Yes, she will."
Rita frowned. That meant she had to settle this before Maple Syrup returned. She said, "Can you send part of the goods first, to save time? Teach me the full version of Cheers first."
Once the trade was agreed upon, with revival in sight, Maple Burn eagerly responded, "Of course!"
Now, the biggest issue was the S-level divine blessing Oak Owl. Rita's mind immediately flashed to Maple Mu and Maple Cang.
Just then, Maple Burn called out, "By the way! Don't touch Maple Mu and Maple Cang, or I'll self-destruct with the orange-red wings!"
Rita: "..."
What a coincidence, now they were on the same wavelength again.
Nivalis suddenly said, "Could this method help Shadow.Q and Sanchez?"
Rita glanced at her in surprise. Nivalis was showing too much concern for outsiders...
This was different from when she played games and chatted with Scarlett for fun. Now, Nivalis was genuinely concerned about saving Shadow.Q and Sanchez? Rita remembered that Nivalis didn't have much contact with them. This was bad. It meant that things could easily take unexpected turns in the future.
She admitted that she was a bit of a double standard. She wasn't a completely cold person, but she also knew herself. If there was no personal stake or goal, she wouldn't waste her time helping others.
But then, she heard Nivalis say, "If we can't help, should we just act against them? Can we do it? Aren't they technically Oak Owls now? Maple Burn, can you still choose the wing color? Hey, is Shadow.Q A or S-level?"
Rita: "..."
Good heavens, this wasn't just about emotional richness—it was about being a living hell!
After the negotiation with Maple Burn, Rita decided not to sleep. She left Nivalis at home and flew invisibly to B City on her own.
While Maple Burn's situation wasn't urgent, there was one thing she needed to take care of immediately—she had to kill Camila and Henry!
Zoey had died and reincarnated as Maple Mu, Sanchez had cooperated with The White Family, and if The Taylor Family made another move, Rita would slap herself awake in the middle of the night: why hadn't she killed them yet?!
Enough with the torturing—she was going to kill them right now!
With the speed of the Oak Owl wings, faster than any planetary skill, and the 12 buffs she had received from High Tower to increase her speed and agility, it took Rita less than two hours to reach The Taylor Family. Along the way, she used her disguise skill to transform into a Moon Fox.
Though she couldn't use the wings in a different race form, she still had her "Raging Moon" planetary skill.
Having left High Tower just before midnight, fought with Zoey at The Lopez Family at around 1 AM, negotiated with Maple Burn by 2 AM, and now at 3:58 AM, she was standing in front of The Taylor Family.
Disguised as a Moon Fox, Rita stood at the entrance of the villa and took a swig of sea salt coffee from her bag.
The feeling of staying up late to stir up trouble was exhilarating.
Standing at the villa's entrance, Rita used her A-level skill from High Tower, "Drunken Dream", to release a mist of alcohol, putting everyone within a certain radius to sleep. This state couldn't be broken by any skills or items, but if the target's HP dropped by more than 10% while asleep, they would immediately wake up.
Everyone in the villa fell into a deep sleep, even the butler, who had noticed the intruder. Rita used the same method to put the entire mansion to sleep before destroying the surveillance cameras.
Finally, she followed the character information and went to Henry's room. As per usual, she used "I Just Want to Improve So Badly" to entertain herself, draining ten charges and gaining 7 pieces of equipment and items, around 200 gold coins, and 2 points of strength.
She drew her knife, severed his head, and left.
Next, she went to Camila's room.
After gaining 3 points of constitution, she struck again.
She looked at the sleeping Camila, unable to contain her curiosity.
When she was first reborn, Rita had thought the three women were in a competition for who could cause the most chaos, but gradually, she realized Zoey, Sanchez, and Rick had their own reasons for their actions. What about Camila? What was her purpose?
With one swift stroke, she separated the head from the body.
Who cared?
She had truly become scared. Curiosity might not kill the cat, but it sure would drive it mad.
Revenge couldn't be delayed any longer!
She didn't even want to create trouble, like waking Camila up and setting a trap to exchange her S-level divine blessing skill for an Archer's talent before killing her. She feared something would go wrong.
What do you think?
