Chapter 443: Chapter 264: Departure (Three More)_1

“Comrades, how do we get out of here next?”

Sitting in a spacious bedroom, Wang addressed the fans in the live streaming room.

The Teddy Bear really didn’t skimp on Wang, assigning him the largest room in the game—complete with the largest bed, the biggest toilet, and even the largest surveillance camera right by the door.

It seemed to be sensor-activated; whenever Wang moved, it followed, leaving him feeling like he had zero privacy.

It wasn’t long before the fans in the streaming room started responding.

[What about seduction?]

“My girlfriend wouldn’t agree, and only she and the old guys at the bathhouse get to see my pure, flawless, and crystal-clear skin. Oh, come on, Zhao, is that you again? Aren’t you supposed to be working the night shift?”

Zhao: [Don’t sweat the details. I approve, so will you seduce or not?]

“Stop it, behave, go to work. Next, comrade.”

[What about seduction?]

“You guys are into that, huh! Be serious!”

[First, change your habit of speaking loudly—they can definitely hear what you’re saying. Anything important should be discussed here in the streaming room, and let’s act quietly, no shooting.]

Wang: [Makes sense. So, what do you all think I should do? Anyone who dares to mention seduction leave right now.]

–Admin Zhao has left the streaming room–

–The More the Merrier has left the streaming room– @@novelbin@@

–Wang, Try Crossdressing has left the streaming room–

Instantly, ten percent of the audience left the streaming room, leaving Wang speechless.

What kind of fans do I have?

Although I, Wang, am a jokester, I don’t want all my fans to be clowns!

Letting out a long sigh, Wang said: [Alright, now that the troublemakers are gone, let’s all think about how to get out.]

[How about looking for a walkthrough first?]

Wang: [There’s no walkthrough available for the time being, given that not many people have this machine, and most have only tried it in showrooms without considering leaving yet.]

[This game has an online feature, why not connect to the network and find other players to hitch a ride and clear the game?]

Wang: [Would I, Wang, be someone to cling to others to clear a game? I’ll try myself later and promise I can clear it!]

Fifteen minutes later, Wang came back dejectedly and asked, [How do I turn on the network?]

[We actually prefer the defiant you from before, please revert back to that.]

[I don’t want to either! But the Teddy Bear is right there at the door, there’s no way to get out. And the window material is top-notch; I can’t even jump out.]

[First look up friends on the communication card, then check if they’ve activated ‘Sweet Cabin’ and send a multiplayer request. They should agree then.]

Wang: [Thanks a lot!]

Following the advice, Wang Say Games found that Monkey was online.

He quickly sent a request, and Monkey instantly appeared beside him, saying in a friendly tone, “Wang, what’s up?”

Wang squinted at Monkey for a while and then said, “I thought you would have changed your appearance to that of a monkey?”

“I’m not crazy about monkeys, no need to be so fanatical. Alright, what is it? I need to get back to studying.”

“Study what?”

Monkey let out a long sigh, “Virtual reality technology. I’ve never worked with it before, and there are only one or two related games. I’m planning to focus on gameplay balance in the future, so I need to study now.”

Wang could relate deeply.

Virtual reality technology was indeed high-end, and with only a couple of games related to it, it definitely required more studying.

“So how are you going to study?” Wang asked curiously.

“First, reading various psychology materials, and starting from tomorrow, I have to travel for work. Mysterious Mirror just happened not to have a team-building event, so the boss sent us on a round-the-world trip for team-building. That way, we get more experience, which will make game development easier later on.”

Suddenly, Wang felt like he couldn’t empathize with Monkey.

“Monkey, you must have saved the world in your last life to be working at Fang Cheng Studio in this one.”

“I’ve wondered that myself.”

“Damn.”

After venting his frustrations, Wang explained the situation he was in to Monkey.

Learning that Sweet Cabin’s Easter egg was right behind the door, Monkey suggested, “Oh, I see. Are there any weapons here? Let’s fight our way out.”

“Let’s not go to extremes here! The Teddy Bear has actually been quite nice to me.”

“Then we take him down without actually killing him.”

“Do you want to reconsider what you just said?”

“Stop talking nonsense, cooperate with me, and play the supporting role.”

“And the weapons?”

“We’ll just have the Teddy Bear send them to us.”

Under Wang’s puzzled gaze, Monkey shouted to the Teddy Bear at the door, “Excuse me, could you bring us two sturdy sticks that can be used as weapons? Just longer than my height will do.”

Wang gave an awkward smile, then whispered to Monkey, “What are you doing? How could they possibly bring that kind of stuff here?”

To Wang’s astonishment, though, the Teddy Bear at the door nodded and said warmly, “Sure, I’ll have them brought over right away.”

A few minutes later, two carbon fiber-crafted, three-pound sticks solid enough to withstand bullets were delivered, making them the epitome of high-tech crafted for cold weapons.

Seeing these sticks, Wang felt like he was witnessing the fusion of high tech and ancient weaponry.

Meanwhile, Monkey was twirling one around with great skill, which surprised Wang even more.
