As prison guards, they all knew who the bald guy was: he had come to prison for murder, and not just one or two people, but a total of seventeen.

"I want to see Zhong Guo. Have him come to see me," Lin Tian said, ignoring Mazi's baton-waving.

"Motherfucker, I've never seen a prisoner as arrogant as you. The director isn't someone you can just see because you want to. Since you won't listen quietly, I'm going to teach you a lesson myself, so you understand this is a prison and you're the prisoner here; you've got to listen to us," Mazi said, raising his baton and smashing it toward Lin Tian, with the other guards following suit.

In the rental room, He Qianqian and Bu Mengting were both inside. Earlier today, they had seen Lin Tian being taken away by the police. Bu Mengting contacted He Qianqian immediately to discuss what to do next.

Initially, they comforted each other, saying everything would be fine and that perhaps the police had simply called Lin Tian in for questioning and he would be back soon.

But now, several hours had passed without any news from Lin Tian, and they were both becoming worried.

"Qianqian, Lin Tian won't be in any trouble, will he?" Bu Mengting asked with a hint of redness in her eyes as she looked at He Qianqian.

"No, he won't. You're aware of Lin Tian's strength, aren't you? He will definitely be fine," He Qianqian reassured Bu Mengting as she embraced her, though her own eyes were filled with concern, and she didn't even know if what she was saying was true or false.

Just then, someone knocked on the door. Bu Mengting's face brightened up suddenly. "It must be Lin Tian. I knew he would be fine," she exclaimed.

"Listen up, guys, beat this bastard senseless later. Damn it, he dared to lay a hand on me. Seems he doesn't want to live," Mazi said as he arrived with more prison guards at this moment.
