Chapter 505 Supreme Quality Jade
Even though it was broad daylight, Feng Shaokang's two bodyguards could clearly hear the sound of flesh being chewed, and even the eerie crunching of bones being broken.
Feng Shaokang's screams went from intense to weakening and finally faded away as his hands, which covered his face, dropped.
Only two bloody holes were left where his eyes had been, and it was possible to see his facial skin slack and hanging, with many black insects writhing inside—a sight too terrifying to describe.
The two bodyguards were so scared they almost wet themselves.
Although they were ex-mercenaries with blood on their hands,
and were considered brave—they wouldn't have chosen this line of work otherwise—
they had never witnessed such a horrifying method of killing. The blue-eyed beauty had initially seemed enchantingly seductive, but now she appeared as the incarnation of the most terrifying witch.
They turned and ran in fright.
The moment they turned their heads, Feng Shaokang's head exploded.
A swarm of large, black, bean-sized insects burst out, covering the skin with a terrifying sensation, flying towards the two bodyguards. Within moments, two clouds of black enveloped them, and screams emanated from within. Shortly after, the insects flew off, leaving behind two headless corpses.
At first, the insects seemed like a large mass, but when they returned to the Blue-eyed Witch's hand, they merged back into a single bug the size of a fingernail.
The Blue-eyed Witch didn't even glance at the three corpses on the ground before turning and quickly disappearing into the depths of the alley.
Long Xiaoshan and Song Yi dragged two carts of uncut stones back to the hotel.
Song Yi sighed in relief.
She had already confirmed on the road that Long Xiaoshan was unharmed.
"Who on earth could these people be? To rob us at gunpoint in broad daylight, this place is just too dangerous," Song Yi said.
"Who else could it be?" Long Xiaoshan said casually.
Song Yi's eyes suddenly narrowed, "You, you mean Feng Shaokang?"
"Besides him, who else would target us? We have just arrived in Myanmar, who else would set their sights on us? To say they were robbing us of uncut stones, there are plenty here. Who would care about our small haul?" Xiaoshan explained.
"This guy is really lawless, he actually tried to kill you. Do you think he will make another move?" Song Yi asked worriedly.
"Don't worry about him. If this guy dares to try anything again, I'll make sure he pays the price. We are not going to stay in Mitzina for long. Let's get these stones processed. You ask Zhou Shuanghu where we can get it done," Long Xiaoshan said.
"Alright!" Song Yi agreed and went off, and after a while, Zhou Shuanghu came down.
Seeing the two carts of uncut stones Long Xiaoshan had brought back, Zhou Shuanghu clicked his tongue and said, "I must say you guys work fast. Just a trip to the jade market and you haul back two carts of stones. But the market in Mitzina might look big; however, it's actually full of traps for the uninformed. Quality, old pit materials won't make it here. Why didn't you wait to buy in Pagan? You can't pick out anything good here."@@novelbin@@
Long Xiaoshan simply smiled, "Zhou, I'm just playing around, getting a feel for things. Do you know where I can get these stones processed around here?"
"Getting stones cut? That's easy. I know the best cutting master here. I'll take you to him," Zhou Shuanghu offered.
"No need, I want to cut them myself," Long Xiaoshan stated.
"Cut them yourself? That's not easy. One wrong move and you could ruin the stone. Are you sure you can do it?" Zhou Shuanghu looked skeptically at Long Xiaoshan.
Song Yi laughed, "My brother just likes to play. These stones weren't expensive; they're just for him to have fun with."
Zhou Shuanghu shook his head, "President Song, you're really generous with your brother. Even if they're cheap, those two carts of stones must cost several million. Spending millions just to have fun."
"I only have this one younger brother," Song Yi said evasively.
"Yeah, my sister dotes on me the most," Long Xiaoshan said as he hugged Song Yi and planted a kiss on her cheek.
Song Yi's cheeks flushed with crimson, and she pinched Long Xiaoshan's waist with force.
"Alright, since Xiaoshan wants to get some practice, I'll set something up for you." Zhou Shuanghu indeed had wide connections, and quickly found a place for Long Xiaoshan to try his hand at jade cutting. Claiming he liked to handle stones alone, Long Xiaoshan had everyone leave.
Zhou Shuanghu simply thought that, because of Long Xiaoshan's young age, he might be afraid of not cutting anything valuable and losing face, so he didn't suspect anything and walked out.
Once everyone had left, Long Xiaoshan immediately closed the door and began to cut into the raw stones.
With his Heavenly Eye, he didn't need to inspect; he just needed to cut straight down.
Thus, the cutting went rapidly.
Peeling off the stone skin in a matter of minutes, he exposed the inside's sparkling, translucent jade.
Piece by piece, jade appeared in Long Xiaoshan's hands.
If outsiders were to see this, they'd surely be shocked speechless, as all that was cut were of the glass-like level — casual pieces that could sell for tens of millions each. They were the highest quality of jade and he was continuously cutting them out.
After seven or eight stones, Long Xiaoshan made a slice, and a thick shade of green emerged.
This green was pure and the stone itself was crystal clear — it turned out to be the king of jade, a piece of Emerald Green jade.
This was the crème de la crème among jade, much more expensive than ordinary glass-like level jade, and it contained an even stronger spiritual energy.
After uncovering that piece of Emerald Green, Long Xiaoshan looked it over and casually tossed it aside. If someone saw that, they would be furious enough to strangle him. Emerald Green jade being casually thrown aside without fear of it breaking...?
However, to Long Xiaoshan, these gemstones were mere materials for setting up formations, and he had no intention of selling them.
Two hours later.
All two hundred or so raw stones had been cut open by him, revealing the jade within. The worst of them nearly reached the glass-like Ice-like Level, and there were even three pieces of Emerald Green.
Besides that, there were more than ten pieces of junk jade. Experience tales at My Virtual Library Empire
Selling these exceptional pieces would probably bring in several billion easily.
Long Xiaoshan casually threw all the glass-like level jade into his Space Ring and then tossed the dozen or so pieces of junk jade into his backpack.
He opened the door and stepped out.
As soon as he came out, Song Yi and Zhou Shuanghu who were drinking tea outside quickly came over. Zhou Shuanghu asked, "Little brother, how'd the cutting go? Any good pieces to show your brother and dazzle my eyes?"
"Don't even mention it, I only cut these pieces," Long Xiaoshan said, seemingly annoyed as he tossed out the backpack.
Zhou Shuanghu opened it to look and his eyes flickered. He laughed and said, "Little brother, I've always told you, the raw stone market here is just a pitfall to trick outsiders. It might be famous, but it's the old pits where you really get good material."
Song Yi, seeing the very ordinary jade in the backpack, looked at Long Xiaoshan with some surprise and doubt.
With Long Xiaoshan's eye for jade, it was impossible for him to have cut such a load of junk.
But there was no other place on him to carry any extra jade. Could it be that he just guessed right the last time and now was exposed?
What to do now?
A wave of anxiety surged in Song Yi's heart. She had finally made it to Myanmar, taking such a great risk. If she brought a counterfeit and bought a bunch of junk back, it was not just about losing money — she feared they couldn't continue in the jade business.
What do you think?
