Chapter 540: 588: Heavenly Silkworm
Chapter 540: Chapter 588: Heavenly Silkworm
Chapter 588
Outside the Volcano on Pao Island, at the entrance crack to Death God Valley, where a vortex like an eyeball twisted a few times.
A group of people appeared outside.
Long Xiaoshan, Hua Die, Lan Wan’er, along with several experts from the Southern Ocean, had initially gone in in large numbers, but fewer than ten came out. This trip to Death God Valley had resulted in horrific deaths.
Although people had died on previous expeditions by the Southern Seas Powers into Death God Valley, never had there been so many deaths. Some forces were entirely annihilated inside.
After this ordeal, the powers of the Southern Ocean would definitely be reorganized.
Long Xiaoshan had no ties with these Southern Ocean powers and planned to leave as soon as he got out.
Behind him, the vortex stirred once more, and another person tumbled out in a sorry state.
It was actually Gedanwei, the Young Master of the Serpent Sorcerer Sect.
This guy’s life was extraordinarily tough. When they ran out just now, Long Xiaoshan had not paid him any attention, leaving him to fend for himself, yet surprisingly he was still alive.
Lan Wan’er, upon seeing Gedanwei scrambling out, walked over with a smile and said, “Tsk tsk, aren’t you quite the lucky one.”
Gedanwei’s face couldn’t look uglier upon seeing Lan Wan’er.
As the illustrious Young Master of the Serpent Sorcerer Sect, he had been forced by Lan Wan’er to act like a dog inside, but now he dared not show his arrogance. Upon seeing Lan Wan’er and disregarding the pain all over his body, with several bones broken by a stone earlier, he hastily put on a flattering smile and said, “Master.”
“Haha, now that you’re out, you might as well follow me,” she said.
Upon hearing this, Gedanwei’s face turned bitter.
“What, you’re not willing?” Lan Wan’er’s eyes gleamed with a devilish smile.
Gedanwei shivered and said, “How could that be, Master? I’m your dog, of course, I’ll follow my Master.”
“That’s more like it,” Lan Wan’er patted Gedanwei’s head: “Let’s go, we’ll head back first.”
Long Xiaoshan and his group had arrived on Pao Island on a plane of the Serpent Witch Sect.
Therefore, they were also leaving on a plane of the Serpent Witch Sect.
Sitting in the Serpent Witch Sect’s ultra-luxurious Gulfstream G650, the plane soared high, leaving Pao Island behind.
Inside the lavishly luxurious cabin, which had been filled with the top experts of the Serpent Witch Sect on the way there, now only Gedanwei was left, and he didn’t even dare to sit in the cabin, having to stand careful at Lan Wan’er’s side.
He presented the image of an utterly loyal dog, baffling the several flight attendants on the G650.
Long Xiaoshan was in no mood to bother with Gedanwei. After boarding the plane, he took the medicine Lan Wan’er had given him and went to the washroom to clean up. He couldn’t stand the barbarian appearance he’d had anymore.
Half an hour later.
Cleaned up and in a change of clothes, Long Xiaoshan came out of the washroom.
Hua Die was stunned the moment she saw Long Xiaoshan: “How is it you?”
Long Xiaoshan chuckled, “Isn’t it quite the coincidence?”
Hua Die’s face flushed red; she had not expected that Long Xiaoshan, once the disguise was washed away, was the same bad boy she had encountered on the road from Kun City to Teng County.
That guy was so annoying.
He took advantage of her on the bus, causing her several sleepless nights.
However, she couldn’t deny that the undisguised Long Xiaoshan was much handsomer than the image of that barbarian, with his sharp and handsome features, fair skin, deep and powerful eyes, and a perfectly upright figure. He was definitely a man of distinctive masculinity, radiating strong male hormones, a hunk that would beat any so-called fresh meat in a second.
Lan Wan’er said with a giggle, “Look at you two, making eyes at each other. Don’t tell me you’ve got something going on.”
“No way, I don’t have an affair. Don’t talk nonsense, my relationship with the master is innocent,” Hua Die hurriedly defended.
“Oh, still innocent, are you? How pure you are, my saintess of the Bai Witch Sect,” Lan Wan’er teased. “But don’t forget, you’re now the master’s little handmaiden. Sooner or later, you’ll have to serve in his bed. Master, why not seize the day? Take her now since this plane is so spacious, and there’s even a bedroom in the back. Doing the deed there would be absolutely energizing.”
Hua Die was so frightened that her face turned pale, and she shook her head frantically, mumbling and cowering on the couch, not daring to utter a sound.
Smack!
Long Xiaoshan gave Lan Wan’er’s pert bottom a light slap and said, “You little temptress, stop scaring Hua Die.”
Although Long Xiaoshan was lecherous, he was not so desperate.
To Hua Die, he gently said, “Don’t be afraid. I took you as a handmaiden by accident. Don’t worry about me forcing you into anything. I definitely won’t force you. In fact, once the plane lands, you can leave.”
Hua Die was relieved to hear the first part. Although she had agreed to be Long Xiaoshan’s handmaiden, she was absolutely unprepared to serve in his bed. She was still a virgin, and as the Saintess of the Bai Witch Sect, she had been brought up with sacred teachings, serving the Witch God, never expecting to serve a man.
However, hearing the latter part, she felt a bit of resentment.
Why did Long Xiaoshan always tell her to leave?
Was she really so undesirable?
Long Xiaoshan certainly must think she’s quite ugly, not measuring up to Lan Wan’er.
Since she did not have a face or body like Lan Wan’er’s, after all, men are all creatures that judge by looks.
Long Xiaoshan surely would not be an exception, and she felt a sourness in her heart.
Even though she was a saintess, she was also a young girl who had become Long Xiaoshan’s female slave. From now on, she would only have this man, and who would want to be looked down upon by the man they acknowledge, especially losing out to a nemesis like Lan Wan’er.
Long Xiaoshan was examining the Flesh Worm he had brought from Death God Valley, unsure of its origins, so he asked Hua Die and Lan Wan’er beside him, “Do you know what this bug is?”
Hua Die and Lan Wan’er, being Gu Masters of Miao Frontier, were supposed to be the most familiar with bugs.
Lan Wan’er replied quickly, “I’ve seen many bugs, but I’ve never seen one like this. It looks like a silkworm, but it feels different. It’s so strange. Since when do silkworms have wings?”
Hua Die, however, was staring at the bug as if trying to recall something precisely.
Seeing her like this, Long Xiaoshan asked, “Hua Die, do you recognize it?”
“I think I’ve seen a similar Gu Insect in the scriptures of the sect; it closely resembles the Ancient Exotic Breed called Heavenly Silkworm,” Hua Die said.
“Heavenly Silkworm?” Long Xiaoshan looked at the Flesh Worm in his hand. “What sort of bug is that?”
“The Heavenly Silkworm is a powerful creature from the Vast Wilderness era, so savage that, once mature, it devours anything. It is said that it can swallow a Golden Crow Star, and because of its low intelligence, many Heavenly Silkworms have been raised and controlled by the powerful since their infancy. However, this exotic breed has long disappeared, and this insect has some differences from the Heavenly Silkworms I know of; I’ve never heard of a Heavenly Silkworm with wings,” explained Hua Die.
