Chapter 190: Chapter 186: Invasion



[3rd POV]

"Oh no no no no, we are not moving on from that! You're a timelord! Like, the ones from Doctor Who! And that's a Tardis!" Felicity exclaimed, as she and the ones "In the know" still stared at her in awe.

Kara looked at Talia and gave her a small shrug, as they did sort of deserve a proper talk, especially considering Talia was a member of the species that many of them adored thanks to the Doctor.

"I am, yes. Does that matter?" Talia asked with a raised eyebrow. She didn't see why her being a timelord mattered much at the moment, but she guessed that to them it did.

"Of course it matters! You're part of a fictional species that doesn't exist!" Ray cut in as Talia turned to him with a snort.

"It's only fictional to all of you. To me, it is the species that I was born into, and the one that I will always be a member of" Talia replied with amusement.

"Yes but how do you exist? You are a member of a species from a fictional show" Caitlin cut in as Talia glanced at her before rolling her eyes.

"Perhaps it is only fictional to us and does, in fact, exist somewhere out there in this multiverse? Would that mean that all shows that we see as fictional do in fact, exist within the multiverse?" Stein asked as Talia looked at the older man with a smile.

"Partially correct, Professor Stein. The Multiverse is an infinite expanse of universes, but I am not from this multiverse. Afterall, who said there is only one multiverse?" Talia said, as several of the scientists in the group that had knowledge on the multiverse, looked confused. "Another multiverse? That cannot be possible" Stein muttered.

"Why not?" Talia asked, watching the man's reaction as she waited for an answer, only for him to go silent as he realized he could not answer that question, for...there wasn't a reason as to why there couldn't be one.

"As I said, there is an infinite amount of universes that make up a multiverse, and then an infinite amount of multiverses that make up something larger called an "Omniverse" and then an infinite amount of Omniverses and so on, so forth for all of existence" Talia replied, explaining the fact that existence was a lot larger than they thought.

"That still doesn't explain how you're in this multiverse, or even this universe. The Tardis can only travel through time and space, but not across universes" Ray said.

"Yes, well, my Tardis is different from the Doctors. Think of mine as a sort of upgrade from theirs, with the ability across universes should I want it to. Well, when it listens to me at least" Talia replied, at the mention of the Doctor, Felicity couldn't help but ask a question.

"Have you ever met him? The Doctor I mean, because that is like a personal dream of mine, especially if it's the 10th doctor because David Tennant is so ho-cool, so cool" Felicity said, coughing awkwardly as she caught herself.

"No, I was sent away before that could happen. Although I will admit that I've always wanted to meet him or her, mattering on the regeneration" Talia replied with a small smile as she did want to meet them eventually.

"Her?" Felicity asked wide eyed.

"Hmm? Oh that, normal Time Lords can regenerate into both men and women, as gender and sexuality is quite inconsequential to the normal time lords, as they had long since surpassed such things" Talia responded.

"Wow that's...really cool actually" Iris muttered at the side, wondering if she should maybe watch the show, as it sounded more and more interesting the longer she heard about it.

"Not to cut in on...whatever this is, but how are you going to help us?" Sara Lance asked, as Talia turned to the blonde woman.@@novelbin@@

"Well considering I am the smartest being in this multiverse, I am rather certain I can figure out how to take care of your invasion, or at least, help you take care of it" Talia replied with a shrug, before glancing behind them at the waverider.

"So that's your ship? It's quite the little rust bucket isn't it?" Talia said, looking it over as her eyes glowed. Within an instant she got through Gideons defenses and began to mentally copy all of her knowledge for herself, including future records, before completing the copying in only 3 seconds.

"Rust Bucket?" Ray muttered.

"It's a time ship far beyond anything we have on Earth, how is it a rust bucket?" Jax asked on the side.

"Ah, I mean it's a rust bucket in comparison to my Tardis, sorry" Talia replied, smirking as the group seemed insulted.

"And what about the box is so impressive?" Sara asked with a snort.

"It's an infinite dimension that has every possible room you can imagine, allows me to effortlessly travel through space in time within moments, is unhackable and nigh indestructible, and is powered by an infinite source of energy. Should my ship explode, it would destroy the entire universe, if yours did, it would turn into a small explosion. Plus, my ship is far cooler than yours will ever be" Talia replied bluntly, a smug smirk on her face as Sara's eyes widened more and more at the mention of some of its...abilities.

"I can't be the only one who is totally lost, right? What's so crazy about a Timelord besides that ship of yours?" Thea asked on the side as Talia turned to her.

"The species I hail from is the creator of time travel, has weapons that can annihilate the entire multiverse, and has wiped magic from our universe because we saw it as "Too Chaotic" making it impossible to even comprehend or use it. Casually made black holes as sources of energy, and were so powerful that only our greatest enemies and literal Gods could contend to our Nigh-Omnipotent scientific prowess. In simplest terms, my species is the very apex of what a scientific civilization can become" Talia replied.

At the explanation, Thea went silent as the others who didn't know much about the Timelords, grew wide eyed, understanding now why the nerds were freaking out so much.

"The greatest enemies are the Daleks, right? Wait, do they exist here?!" Cisco asked, growing pale at the thought of the Daleks existing. As an avid Doctor Who fan, he knew how dangerous a single Dalek was, and what it was capable of.

"No, I'd never allow one of those things to exist in this multiverse" Talia said, instantly shutting down the notion of them existing here.

"Not that I don't enjoy whatever this is, but can we get back to the invasion?" Iris commented on the side as Talia nodded.

"Probably for the best. So, what do you all know about the Dominators?"

"Besides the fact that they invaded some point in the past and killed a lot of people? Nothing, which is what we're hoping you can help us with" Barry replied, as Talia nodded. "Alright, so, for starters, there is a hell of a lot more than just a "Few dominators" and what you saw was a tiny tiny tiny fraction of their total numbers, due to the rate at which they breed" Talia said, as Oliver who had been silent up until that point, frowned and spoke.

"How many are there?"

"Billions" Talia replied bluntly as their eyes shot wide.

"Bi-Billions?! How the hell are we supposed to fight that?" Jax asked in shock.

"I'll explain that later, for now I'll just explain some of their powers. Which include superhuman strength, speed, durability and all the others. Telepathy, mind control, illusion creation, and most notably of all, Temporal Awareness which lets them sense alterations in the timeline, and who had done it" Talia said, glancing at Barry who's eyes had widened, understanding that Talia knew about "Flashpoint" and what he had done.

"That is...concerning. How are you going to go about defeating a billion of them? We'll be lucky to take out a dozen of the things" Thea asked, growing concerned at the prospect of an army of billions invading.

Glancing at Kara, Talia smiled "Well it's a good thing you've got one of the most powerful heroes in the multiverse at your side" Talia said.

"You mean Kara? No offense to her, but I doubt she'll be able to fight billions" Ray said.

Kara couldn't help but let out a small giggle at that "No she means herself. Talia's the strongest being in our universe and most universes. I'm pretty sure she could single handedly take care of the invasion if she wanted to"

"I could, but it's a good chance for growth for the youngsters. I'll step in when the main

invasion force gets here though" Talia replied. Sometimes it would be necessary for her to stay out of it, so that they could properly undergo the growth that they did in canon, and this is one of those times, primarily for Barry and Oliver.

"You're simply a timelord, are you not? Time Lords have no true power besides their minds and their regenerative capabilities" Stein asked, confused.

In response, Talia just smiled and disappeared, only to reappear behind the group "The inside of your ship is much better than the outside, you know. That A.I of yours is decent too" Talia

said as they all turned to her, with Barry's eyes widening.

"Barry could you-" Iris was cut off as he shook his head.

"How did you-" "I'm...gifted, and far more than any normal Timelord, trust me, I've got more than enough power to deal with some dominators, but I also believe that you're all going to need this experience, so I'll only step in when the main invasion force inevitably gets here. Of course, I will provide my aid in the technological aspect" Talia cut the man off,

smiling as Sara frowned.

"You went inside my ship?"

"Yep. Quite the interesting little thing. Mr Hunter had quite the collection of artifacts" Talia said as she walked past them towards the screen that was portraying the dominators.

The Legends just stared at her with varying reactions, while Mick couldn't help but smirk "I

like her"

Talia on the other hand, heard what the man said and inwardly had one thought on her mind. 'Perhaps this'll be more fun than I thought'

She WILL be joining the Legends on some solo adventures without the girls, and WILL be helping out Barry and the group. As everyone agreed that it should happen, and I think it'll be
