Chapter 192: Chapter 188: Explanations



[3rd POV]

Upon hearing this piece of information, Barry breathed out a sigh "Alright, you guys go on ahead, I'll sit this one out. Obviously, you have Supergirl, she's just as fast as I am, if not faster. And Talia if she decides to help out"

"Kara will be able to deal with them. You can trust me on that. Oh, and do be careful, these aliens have technology that can allow them to control your minds. I've already dealt with that aspect, shielding your minds from it, but there should be a device nearby when you find the president, that will be causing that mind control, destroy that, and you won't need to worry about it controlling anyone else" Talia said, as the team nodded.

"You sure it's okay if we go alone, Talia?" Kara asked in slight worry, mostly upon hearing about the sheer amount of Dominators that would be coming to the world soon.

"Yep, you can take care of them easily enough, love. If too many show up, and you get overwhelmed, I'll help deal with them" Talia said as Kara nodded slowly in understanding, deciding not to question Talia's decision on this one.

"No no no, we all need to go together, together as a team, and we are not leaving Barry out of this" Oliver cut in, not liking the idea of them going without Barry or him.

"Oliver, it's fine, really. I'll stay back and see if we can figure out how to deal with the rest of the Dominators" Barry said, not wanting to make this more awkward than it already was at the moment.

"You can stay behind with Talia and Barry if you want, Oliver. We'll be able to take care of it, I promise. And like Talia said, if we need help, she'll step in. And trust me, she'll know if we need it" Kara said, as the man looked her in the eyes before sighing.

"Fine. But try not to get yourselves hurt, will you?" Oliver asked as she nodded, before turning to Talia and giving her a peck on the lips, and walked off to join the team she would be going with. This team was made up of Mick, Firestorm, Ray, Sara, Thea, and Dig. Each of them have already suited up at this point.

"Why are you staying behind, Talia?" Barry couldn't help but ask as Talia smiled.

"They need to learn how to work as a team without me interfering. If I did, the fight would be over instantly, and I can't keep carrying Kara, not with some of the beings that exist out there in the Multiverse. But don't worry about them, Kara wasn't lying when she said that I'd know if they were in trouble" Talia replied, calming his worries over the group that just left.

"And how would you know?" Cisco asked on the side, as they were preparing to move back to Star Labs, which had better technology for what they were planning on doing.

"I have the ability to make clones that share their sight with me in real time. They've also got the same set of abilities as me, but to a lower level. It's like splitting my power in a portion for every clone I've got" Talia explained as Cisco nodded.

"So like Shadow clones? How many clones have you made?"

"On this Earth? Around 100, in total? Over 3,000" Talia replied, which was the truth. She had a lot of clones back on Earth 38 that were constantly at work in various areas, mostly in forging, growing her technology, and pure training.

"3000?! How can your mind handle that much strain? Not to mention your body!" Felicity couldn't help but exclaim in shock as Talia smiled.

"Felicity, my mind is far beyond what a human can possibly comprehend, and even beyond any other Time Lord. I'm what's called a "12th Level intellect" but even higher than that. That makes me the smartest being in not only my universe, but in most of the multiverse. And with that, comes the ability to simultaneously handle an infinite amount of strains of thought at the same time, which makes something like handling the minds of 3000 clones laughably easy" Talia replied, explaining why it worked, as she could tell that Felicity and Cisco were both very curious.@@novelbin@@

"That...is ridiculous" Felicity said, not even able to say much besides that.

"So you're like...a walking supercomputer on crack?"

"I'm like every supercomputer in this universe and Earth 38 combined, and on like 4000 types of crack" Talia replied with a nod, as it was true. She hadn't really been putting her mind to work just yet, but she planned on soon. Creating some rather powerful weapons for her dimension was going to happen eventually, and she already had plans for creating new inventions that would be a combination of Cybermen technology, Magical Technology, and everything else she knew, but that would be coming later on.

"Well..I don't even really know what to say to that one" Cisco said with a sigh, understanding that Talia was...ridiculous. Felicity just shook her head as she heard Talia's explanation, as the group began to get ready to leave back to Star Labs.

"And what do you plan on doing once the main armada gets here? If it has billions of those things in it, it won't be a small one. And can you even breathe in space, or handle the firepower of those things, or even destroy any of their ships?" Iris asked on the side, skeptical about the power of Talia who hadn't shown much besides being a Timelord, and being extremely fast, faster than Barry.

"Who says I have shown all of my power? I haven't shown even 1% of my total power, Iris. If I had wanted to, I could obliterate every single hero on this planet in an instant, and that includes Barry and Kara. And while the armada will indeed be huge, that just makes them bigger targets for me. As for breathing in space, I can do that normally due to my unique physiology that is...different from other Time Lords. And trust me, I have more than enough firepower to destroy them" Talia replied, shutting the woman up in an instant as Barry sighed.

"Iris, let's just trust her, okay? I think she can do it, especially if Kara is vouching for her. And from what I had seen while on her Earth, I know she's a lot stronger than what you guys have seen, there's a reason why Kara said she's the strongest hero in her Universe" Barry replied, not wanting Iris to cause any sort of arguments with Talia, as that would not end well for Iris. "Okay Barry, but if this doesn't go well, then I will not hold back" Iris replied, already imagining the "I told you so" moment. Not understanding that Talia was not nearly as weak as she thought she was. Talia didn't blame her entirely, but she didn't have to act like a dick about it.

"How are we even going to find the things? There's billions of them, right? What's to say there aren't already thousands of them on Earth hiding out, playing scouts?" Caitlin asked as realization dawned on Cisco and Felicity.

"There are quite a lot of them hiding out on the planet, about as much as you guessed. But you don't need to worry about them, I've already sent my clones out to get rid of them. As for tracking them, I can help you whip up a tracker if you'd like, or I can just do it myself" Talia replied as Cisco breathed a sigh of relief, while Caitlin frowned.

"What do you mean by "Get rid of them" that sounds...ominous, and not exactly heroic" Cailin asked as Talia sighed.

"These aliens aren't the type that will just stand still. Should we let them run off, they'd come back in the future, stronger and more prepared than before. More than that, they are willing to enslave other species, and have a tendency to do some less than moral things to them. If you knew of some of the crimes they've committed in Kara and I's universe, you'd agree with what I am doing" Talia responded, knowing that this would come up sooner or later. "And you're willing to kill them? Wouldn't Kara be against that sort of thing?" Cisco asked, Talia wasn't offended about this one, as it was a genuine question.

"Kara is against killing, unless it's for the best. Like a mass rapist who is targeting children, or a warlord that is going to conquer the planet. Or in this case, a genocidal armada of aliens that will experiment on, kill, and enslave our entire kind"

"Yeah that's...actually pretty fair" Cisco muttered in understanding as...it did make a lot of sense once she put it into words.

"Glad you think the same. Now, why don't we get to Star Labs so I can get a good look at your systems? I've always been interested in seeing what you guys have over there" Talia said as Cisco's eyes lit up at the idea as he nodded rapidly, opening a breach before them as the group walked through, leaving Talia walking last, one final thought on her mind as she walked through.
