Urban God-level Youth

Chapter 300 Tang Qi

Feng Xiangyi finished speaking and then opened the car door to step out, leaving a confused Qin Hao behind.

Qin Hao revealed a helpless smile and then drove off from the place.

Langjiang Hotel.

After the banquet ended in discord, Lin Helai went to a luxurious private room upstairs.

He knocked on the door and only entered after hearing someone inside say "come in."

Three young men were sitting in the room, two of whom Qin Hao knew well: Tang Feipeng and Tang Chen Dong.

The other one looked to be in his early twenties with a sly smile on his face, appearing somewhat sinister.

Tang Feipeng looked at Lin Helai and asked, "How did you handle the matter?"

Lin Helai recounted everything that had just happened in full detail to Tang Feipeng.

Tang Feipeng's brow furrowed slightly, a thoughtful expression in his eyes, "Alright, I've got it. You can go now."

After Lin Helai left, Tang Chen Dong spoke up, "What do we do now, Feipeng? I'm afraid no one can stop Qin Hao's Jiangshan Roasted Duck."

Tang Feipeng frowned, aware that Jiangshan Roasted Duck was already a dominant force and it was impossible to thwart it. He couldn't think of a good way to counter Qin Hao.

The person beside them sneered, "Why so tangled? The one you want to deal with is Qin Hao, not Jiangshan Roasted Duck.

Just let him disappear from this world, and everything will naturally be resolved. Once he dies, Jiangshan Roasted Duck will disperse too."

Tang Feipeng turned to his younger brother, Tang Qi, "Xiao Qi, this is China, not abroad. You can't just talk about killing people on a whim."

A dagger appeared in Tang Qi's hands out of nowhere.

He casually pared his nails while speaking with a faint smile, "Brother, does it make a difference? Do you want him dead or not? Just say the word.

He won't see tomorrow's sun."

Tang Feipeng indeed wanted Qin Hao dead, for he had never suffered such humiliation from childhood till now.

But he didn't want his own brother to take action because this matter didn't require Tang Qi's intervention. He wanted to deal with Qin Hao himself.

He was all too aware of his brother's capabilities—a top-tier assassin ranked in the top ten of the international Blood Kill List.

As a child, Tang Qi had been sent abroad by Tang Zhongqian, and by chance, he got involved with a mercenary group.

Afterwards, he joined a powerful mercenary organization.

Having undergone over a decade of training, he had now become a top-tier assassin who struck terror into people's hearts.

But very few knew his true identity, and even Tang Chen Dong beside him was oblivious.

Although Tang Chen Dong was unaware of what he did abroad, he felt that Tang Qi had an air of ominousness about him, emitting an aura of wickedness.

"Xiao Qi, don't worry about this matter, I'll handle it," Tang Feipeng told Tang Qi.

He thought Wu Fuwei might be useful to exploit.

Tang Qi nonchalantly said, "Whatever you say. Where's the actress you promised tonight? Why hasn't she arrived?"

"She'll be here soon," Tang Feipeng replied as he checked his watch.

Tang Qi snorted coldly, "Quite the grand entrance, making me wait so long. I'll show her what's what in a bit."

"That's the time I scheduled for them," Tang Feipeng said, worried that his brother might do something extreme.

...

Meanwhile, Qin Hao returned to the villa.

The living room light was still on, and both Han Meng and Han Qiaoer were sitting there waiting for him. They didn't even have the TV on; they just sat there in the silent wait.

Seeing Qin Hao return, Han Meng stood up and said, "Xiao Hao, you're back."

Han Qiaoer hurriedly ran over from the sofa, "Uncle, you're back."

"What are you doing? Why didn't you watch TV?" Qin Hao asked curiously.

Han Qiao'er said with a smile, "Mom made a meal, waiting for you to come back and eat."

Upon hearing this, Qin Hao hurriedly said, "Meng, you don't have to wait for me in the future, I sometimes get very busy, and I might come back quite late."

"It's alright, sit down, I'll go get the meal ready," Han Meng said in a rush.

A few minutes later, Han Meng had the meal ready on the dining table, and then she stood beside the table.

Qin Hao looked at her and asked, "Meng, you haven't eaten either, have you? Sit down and eat with us."

Han Meng replied, "It's fine, you eat first, we'll eat after you're done."

Qin Hao frowned, and seeing his expression, Han Meng got startled, her face turning a bit panicked, "Xiao Hao, do you not like the meal? I can go and cook something new for you."

Qin Hao sighed helplessly upon seeing her pitiful look, "Meng, I've never treated you guys like servants.

I think since we're living together, we are a family; let's not do this again, eating separately. Do you think I'm some old-timey landlord?

Come, Qiao'er, sit down and let's eat together."

Han Qiao'er giggled and ran over to sit next to Qin Hao.

Han Meng hesitated for a moment but still didn't dare to sit down.

Qin Hao said, "Meng, sit down and eat with us. From now on, just consider this as your own home, and think of me as your brother."

Han Meng nodded her head and then sat down opposite him.

Qin Hao put a piece of meat on Qiao'er's plate, "Qiao'er, eat some meat, you're growing right now, you should eat more good food."

"Thank you, Uncle," Han Qiao'er said obediently.

While eating, Qin Hao said, "Qiao'er, tomorrow Uncle will take you to the nearby school, what do you think about continuing your studies there?"

Han Qiao'er nodded, "Mhm, when Qiao'er grows up, I will earn money to spend on Uncle."

Qin Hao's face lit up with a smile, "What a good girl, eat up."

Looking at Qin Hao, Han Meng said softly, "Xiao Hao, I'm feeling better now, I'm planning to go out to look for a job tomorrow. I still owe you so much money..."

Qin Hao paused for a moment before responding, "Meng, why go out to look for a job? If you don't mind, you can work for me.

Just do some cleaning, cook meals, and I'll pay you ten thousand a month, how about that?

If you disagree, I'll have to hire a nanny. A high-grade nanny would probably cost two to three times that amount per month."

"I've never been a nanny before, I don't know if I can do a good job," Han Meng said softly.

Qin Hao replied, "Being a nanny is nothing special, just cleaning, doing laundry, cooking, and we have a washing machine for clothes.

Meng, don't go out looking for a job. You can rest assured I will definitely not short-change you on your salary."

Han Meng quickly explained, "Xiao Hao, that's not what I meant. I just think the salary might be too high?"

"It's not high, it's quite average. Meng, eat up," Qin Hao reassured her.

Ten minutes later, after finishing the meal, Han Meng cleaned up the dishes and went to the kitchen to wash them.

Qin Hao and Han Qiao'er sat on the couch watching TV.

Han Qiao'er sat on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck, "Uncle, where is your girlfriend? Why doesn't she live with you?"

Qin Hao answered, "She's going abroad to study tomorrow, she will be back after a while."

Han Qiao'er asked, "Uncle, when your girlfriend comes back, will she drive Mom and me out? I don't want to leave you."

Qin Hao reassured her, "Of course not, she's a very nice person, even better than your uncle."@@novelbin@@

After washing the dishes, Han Meng came out from the kitchen and saw her daughter sitting on Qin Hao's lap. She gave her a stern look, "You've had a busy day and must be tired, why are you still holding her, Uncle?"

Smiling, Qin Hao said, "It's okay, Meng, Qiao'er is still just a child, after all."

Han Qiao'er whispered, "I like being held by Uncle, it feels warm and safe."
