Chapter 520: Chapter 522: Internet Communications Industry
Xu Siyao and Li Moying chuckled, no longer ruffling his hair.
Qin Hao stood up and said, “Let’s go to the meeting.”
They all arrived at the conference room together, where Chang Anding and Zhang Yifei from the Southern Military Industry Group were already present.
Once Qin Hao and his group were seated, he began, “There’s no need for me to say much. Are you two leaving on your own, or shall I force you out?”
Zhang Yifei’s expression changed slightly, “Mr. Qin, this matter has nothing to do with our Southern Military Industry Group.”
Qin Hao snorted, “Nothing to do with it? What about the voting yesterday? Did that have something to do with it?”
...
Zhang Yifei suddenly found himself at a loss for words, unsure of what to say.
When the contract was originally signed, it explicitly stated that Qin Hao could buy back the shares at the market price prevailing at that time.
If the market price was lower than the initial investment price, the purchase would be made at the initial investment price.
The current valuation of Xinghai Company was 400 billion Federation currency, so nine percent of the shares amounted to 36 billion Federation currency.
Chang Anding spoke, “Give me 36 billion Federation currency, and I’ll exit Xinghai Company.”
Qin Hao sneered, “You really dare to ask for that? Mr. Chang, there’s another clause in the contract you might not have read carefully. It states that I have the right to decide on a directed capital increase.”
Chang Anding’s face paled slightly. He genuinely did not know this; when he took the money, he thought Qin Hao was indirectly asking for a favor, so he didn’t bother reading the contract and just tossed it aside.

A directed capital increase meant that Qin Hao had the right to decide which shareholders could contribute additional funds to the company, diluting those who did not contribute, until their shares were completely watered down.
Chang Anding looked very upset; he thought he could still get 36 billion Federation currency, but now he would not get anything.
“Qin Hao, you’re ruthless,” Chang Anding said before turning to Chang Jing, “Are you choosing Chang Jing, or are you choosing him?”
Chang Jing replied indifferently, “I choose my job.”
Chang Anding’s face turned ashen as he said word by word, “I never expected that after so many years, I’ve raised an ingrate. If you dare step foot in the Chang Family’s door again, I’ll break your legs.”
Chang Jing remained unmoved, sitting there with no change in her expression.
Xu Siyao and Li Moying looked at Chang Jing with shock and confusion in their eyes, unable to understand why she would make such a decision.
Qin Hao’s face remained calm; Chang Anding wasn’t completely foolish. All this was probably done to clear his daughter of Qin Hao’s suspicions, so she could stay here in peace.
Chang Jing understood, and so did Qin Hao.
It was just that others didn’t understand.
Qin Hao divided that eighteen percent of shares between Xu Siyao and Li Moying, each receiving six percent, while he took six percent.
Currently, he held sixty-five percent of the shares, with Li Moying and Xu Siyao each holding fifteen percent. Chang Jing still had the five percent in management shares.
Qin Hao said to Chang Jing, “Mr. Chang, we need to increase production on all lines, especially the robotics line, got it? We can buy a few steel processing plants and make our own robot molds. The exterior design can be handled by Mr. Wang and his team.
“They are more professional. Go and ask Li Qingya if they are willing to sell that factory.”
Chang Jing nodded, “I understand, Mr. Qin.”
“How many robots do we have now?” Qin Hao asked curiously.
Chang Jing replied, “Yesterday we just delivered ten to the Onassis Family in the Northern Federation, leaving us with fifty.”
Qin Hao said, “Hmm, produce more, aim for a thousand in the initial phase.”
Exiting the conference room, Qin Hao saw Zhang Yifei still by the door, “Mr. Zhang, is there anything else?”
Zhang Yifei said awkwardly, “Mr. Qin, regarding cooperation, our group intends, as per instructions from above, to work with you on AI aircraft research.”
Qin Hao hesitated for a moment and said, “Fine.”
Zhang Yifei announced, “The research site has been chosen, within a drone production factory of the Southern Military Industry Group.”
Qin Hao replied, “Mm, discuss the specifics of the collaboration with Mr. Chang.”
Zhang Yifei sighed with relief in his heart. He was glad Qin Hao had agreed; otherwise, he wouldn’t know how to report back.
Inside Qin Hao’s office, Li Moying and Xu Siyao were sitting.
He said, “I’ve still got something to take care of. If you have things to do, then go ahead.”
“It’s fine, we’re not busy,” Xu Siyao and Li Moying said in unison.
Qin Hao nodded slightly, and he stepped out of the office into Chang Jing’s where the two were discussing the details of the cooperation.
Artificial intelligence drones were nothing like the current ones.
The current drones required radio control equipment for operation, but with smart drones, it was unknown; you just needed to tell them the mission’s objective, and they could independently complete it. They were more flexible and convenient, not at all comparable to the current drones.
Even artificial intelligence technology could be applied to reconnaissance planes, fighter jets, bombers, and other various types of aircraft.
Future wars would be a showdown of aerial power. If Xuan Country could possess smart fighter jets, its combat power would undoubtedly increase significantly, and personnel casualties could be reduced, eventually making the role of a pilot obsolete.
Qin Hao did not disturb them, waiting until they had finished their discussion and Zhang Yifei had left before he approached Chang Jing’s desk.
Chang Jing looked up at him, the scene somewhat reminiscent of the previous one.
Qin Hao cleared his throat and said, “Mr. Chang, set up an internet communications company in the next few days.”
Chang Jing’s eyes flickered with confusion, “Mr. Qin is planning to start an internet company?”
Qin Hao nodded, “Exactly. The future belongs to the internet, and smart chips are just the foundation.”
Chang Jing looked at him and said, “Getting into the internet now seems a bit late, the market was carved up clean years ago.”
Qin Hao smiled and said, “If the market is saturated, we can completely overturn it and rebuild a new one. I’ll transfer fifty billion to you later as initial funding. You’ll be the general manager of the new company, and later on, I’ll give you five percent of the shares of the new company.”
Chang Jing was very curious about what he would do in the internet sector, was he planning to compete with others with the smart chip?
This was indeed a good strategy; Qin Hao could totally use Xinghai Company’s smart chips to carve out a place for himself on the internet.
After transferring the money to Chang Jing, Qin Hao returned to his own office.
Xu Siyao and Li Moying each turned their heads away, ignoring each other.
Seeing Qin Hao enter, Li Moying got up and ran over, grabbing his arm and saying, “Master, she bullied me.”
“Qin Hao, she’s bullying me,” Xu Siyao also complained.
Qin Hao felt a headache coming on, “Ladies, please stop fighting. Can’t you give me some peace?”
Li Moying hugged Qin Hao’s arm with both hands, “Master, you don’t love me anymore.”
“Tsk, as if Qin Hao could ever love you,”
Qin Hao said, “Keep arguing, I’m going home.”
“Hmph!”
The two exchanged glances and snorted coldly before they also left the place.
