Chapter 1924 A Bet Among Sea Wyverns & Demon Beasts
The sky above Baga Island roared with fury as the six sea wyverns clashed against the six demon beasts.

Their massive bodies twisted and turned, filling the air with deafening shrieks and guttural growls.
Lightning cracked in the distance and powerful Skills were released one after the other, casting eerie flashes over the battlefield as the war raged on.
Kaael, the largest of the sea wyverns, lunged at Nyxus, the Shadowy Behemoth. His razor-sharp claws slashed through the air, aiming for Nyxus' throat.
But the shadowy beast moved like liquid darkness, slipping past the attack with unnatural speed.
In a blink, Nyxus countered. Her elemental tendrils of black mist wrapping around Kaael's wings. With a mighty heave, Nyxus sent Kaael spiraling toward the ocean below.
Sifrona unleashed a torrent of scorching flames at Lyra, the swiftest of the sea wyverns. Lyra twisted midair, barely dodging the firestorm.
She retaliated with a blast of high-pressure water. But Sifrona flapped her burning wings, turning the attack into harmless steam.
With a screech, Sifrona dived, her talons slamming into Lyra's back. The sea wyvern roared in pain as she plummeted downward, her scales scorched.
Arion, Thalassa, Draven, and Nereida fought fiercely against their demon beast opponents, but they were outmatched.
Frostbane, the Frost Wyvern, encased Thalassa's tail in ice, making it impossible for her to move properly.
Blightwing, the Plague Rat, spread a thick, green miasma that weakened Draven's body with every breath he took.
Ruinheart, the Storm Elemental, clashed against Arion, calling forth thunder that shook the heavens. Gloomgaze, the Shadow Wyvern, fought Nereida in a brutal close-combat duel, his tail slamming into her side like a whip.
The battle raged on, but the outcome was clear.
The demon beasts were stronger, faster, and more ruthless. One by one, the sea wyverns fell. Kaael was pinned beneath Nyxus' crushing weight. Lyra lay on the ground, her wings battered and burned.
Thalassa's movements were sluggish from the freezing cold. Draven coughed violently, his strength fading. Arion's body was covered in deep wounds, and Nereida barely held herself up, her breath ragged.
Eren had ordered these six demon beasts to neutralize the enemy sea wyverns in advance. For this purpose, he had handed them all kinds of potions and artifacts, which made it easy for the demon beasts to tap into their true potential.
As the Young Demon Emperor himself, Eren had complete control over the demonic aspects of the beasts. He unlocked their true demonic potential so that they could neutralize the six wyverns without killing them.
After all, subduing the draconic creatures was much more difficult than outright killing them.
After all, Eren had planned to take control of all the draconic might that once belonged to Raashim's Temple. Azurea and Marina were very capable dragons.
However, Eren needed the strengths of the six sea wyverns too if he wanted to take complete control of the giant territory that Raashim Temple was in charge of.
As such, killing the draconic creatures was the last thing Eren wanted to do. He knew that subduing the draconic pride wouldn't be easy.
However, if he could convince Marina and Azurea to come to his side as his wives, the sea wyverns wouldn't be able to say no to him for much longer either.

As the battle came to an end, the sea wyverns realized something was wrong.
The demon beasts could have easily killed them at this point if they wanted to. However, for some reason, they had controlled their strength, avoiding fatal blows.
After the fight, both sides assumed their humanoid forms to lessen the impact of their injuries. The six demon beasts flew down and landed on the sea surface, keeping a safe distance from the sea wyverns.
The Demon Earls had already taken precautions against any attempt by the sea wyverns to escape into the ocean. As a result, the wyverns were not only forced to fight in the sky but were also unable to flee after the battle's conclusion.
Eren's side had won.
Sifrona, despite her severe injuries, felt a deep sense of satisfaction. She had finally escaped the confines of the Shadowed Grove after arriving on Baga Island. Serving under the four Demon Earls in the past had been beneficial, but it was also repetitive and dull.
Now, with Eren as her sole true leader, Sifrona felt like her Individuality as a phoenix had been reignited, rising from the ashes of boredom. She was also relieved that not everyone in the A-Rank was as perverse as Eren.
After all, Eren had subdued all the demon beasts in the Shadowed Grove simultaneously—while merely using one of his pseudo avatars. His authority as the Young Demon Emperor was undeniable, but his true strength was even more astonishing. He was one of the most unique Rankers, possessing a vast arsenal of spells, skills, and abilities.
At first, Sifrona had feared meeting the real Eren face-to-face. However, when he personally met with the six demon beasts before the raid, he had charmed her once again. His elegant demeanor and commanding aura captivated her, stealing her heart. To a demon beast like her, even his scent as the Young Demon Emperor was intoxicating.
Of course, Sifrona was not the only demon beast who felt this way. The others had also begun to worship him, drawn to his innate charisma.
They had witnessed firsthand how he dealt with his enemies. Even while using one of his pseudo avatars, his Individuality had been laid bare before them. The memory of Eren butchering his foes and creating rivers of blood in the Shadowed Grove had terrified them—but it had also cemented their belief in him.
To them, his brutal and bloodthirsty nature was not a flaw but a necessary trait for a true ruler of demons.
There were many Elder Seed inheritors scattered across countless worlds in the boundless cosmos. But there could only be one true inheritor of the Elder Ichor's divine throne.
And Sifrona, along with the others, believed that Eren was destined to claim that throne one day.
The six demon beasts had given their all in battle. They knew that completing this task would earn them their lord's favor, and that was all the motivation they needed to push forward in the demonic hierarchy.
The sea wyverns trembled, their hearts pounding. They had lost. Now, they had no choice but to submit to the will of the one who commanded such terrifying beasts—or die as a consequence of their defeat. However, their draconic pride refused to let them accept Sifrona's proposal so easily.
"Hah! Who do you think you are? Do you really think defeating us is enough to make us obey your commands?" Kaael spat in contempt.
Sifrona smiled devilishly before answering, "Yes. Stop asking stupid questions. If even your two dragon bosses can submit to my lord, do you think you have the right to resist him?"
Kaael's eyes widened in shock as he considered the possibility of Marina and Azurea joining Eren's side. He glanced at Sifrona and the other demon beasts, then scoffed arrogantly.
"Do you think true dragons are so easily bullied? Keep dreaming! Lady Azurea and Lady Marina will never agree to your lord's demands. I… I'm willing to make a bet—if either Lady Marina or Lady Azurea submits to your lord, I will abandon my dragon pride and cut off my own tail as a sign of submission."
Sifrona's wicked smile grew wider.
"Hehe. bold. I like it. Alright– alright– alright. I accept. But let's raise the stakes, shall we? If my lord fails to subdue both of the twin dragonesses, I'll do the same. However, if he succeeds, you will dance naked in the streets of Baga Island for a whole month. Do you agree?"
'This bitch is really pushing it…' Kaael's face twisted in anger.
As a draconic creature, he had no shame about not wearing clothes in his beastly form. But if he had to dance naked in front of his subordinates in his humanoid form, his draconic pride would take a serious hit.
Still, he was confident. Azurea and Marina were not just true dragons—they were S-Rankers, standing at the top of Labh Salem's power structure, just below the Saints. Eren, on the other hand, was only an A-Ranker. There was no way they would ever submit to him.
"I… I agree," Kaael said, clenching his fists.
Then, he grinned widely, already picturing Sifrona dancing naked in the streets of Baga Island in her humanoid form. His face lit up with schadenfreude.
For better worse, the sea wyvern had decided to put his trust in the concept of draconic pride to participate in the bet. In his confidence, he didn't even ask his fellow wyverns if they were on board with the bet or not.
What do you think?
