Qin Feng wiped her tears with his thumbs as he calmed her down with his soft voice: "Don't worry Hu Nian. Now that I'm here, he won't be able to harm you anymore."

He then looked at the kneeling overseer with eyes filled with wrath before asking Hu Nian: "What would you like me to do with him? If you want, I can kill him for you."

Hu Nian looked at him with a bit of surprise. However, she shook her head and answered, "No, please just take me back to the village."

Right at this moment, a powerful pressure enveloped the room, prompting Hu Nian to fall to her knees while Qin Feng resisted the pressure.

"Brother Feng Qin, I'm having difficulty in breathing." She said, grabbing her neck.

Qin Feng instantly lifted her into his arms to rush out of this pressure, however, as soon as he took one step, a thunderous voice resounded in the room.

"Don't you dare take another step!!"

The very next second, a man with his hands clasped behind his back appeared at the entrance of the room.

Qin Feng instantly recognized that the pressure in this room belonged to this man.

"Uncle! You are here!"

The overseer, with a delighted expression, rushed to him.

The man smiled hearing the overseer's voice as the pressure in the room vanished, allowing Hu Nian to breathe properly.

"Hahaha, my nephew. I see that you are alright. Getting the signal from the formation in your mansion, I was worried something might've happened to you. I'm relieved that I arrived in time."

The man spoke with laughter, ruffling the overseer's hair affectionately.

This man was similar in appearance to the overseer with similar rabbit teeth and a funny mustache, however, his domineering presence was completely different from the overseer.

The Overseer spoke with a buttering voice: "It is all thanks to uncle arriving before I could be harmed by this cultivator." He pointed at Qin Feng.

His uncle scrutinized Qin Feng from up to down to discern his cultivation.

"An origin realm cultivator?" He spoke, stroking his chin.

He raised his head proudly and asked: "Boy, do you know who I am?"

Qin Feng, knowing that this cultivator was too powerful for him to offend, answered respectfully: "No, I don't know."

"Hmm, then let me introduce myself. I'm one of the three prefecture lords of the Northern Prefecture, Tuo Xingsen, a king realm cultivator."

"K-King Realm?" Qin Feng murmured in surprise. Now he knew not to offend him at any cost.

Even his master, the peakmaster of Azure Claw peak was only at peak Core-formation realm.

Tuo Xingsen smiled satisfyingly as he asked: "Now tell me, what is a cultivator like you doing here? If you are a cultivator at such a young age, I'm sure you must be a disciple of the QingLong sect."

He asked this because, in a righteous tribe like the QingLong tribe, you could only cultivate by joining the QingLong Sect. There was no other sect in the tribe and all cultivators were affiliated with it.

Also, he wanted to know if Qin Feng was really a disciple of the QingLong tribe. He won't be able to kill him since his death would be investigated by the sect.

Qin Feng bowed and answered: "I'm here on a mission from the sect and while I was in the Huan village to complete my mission. Your nephew kidnapped my friend to force himself on her. I'm here to save her."

He knew that he couldn't speak out of the line despite the anger he felt. In front of him was a King realm cultivator who couldn't be taken lightly.

Tuo Xingsen nodded before asking: "Please show me your disciple token to prove your identity. We've had many demonic cultivators disguising them as righteous cultivators. I hope you can understand my need to request this."

Instantly, Qin Feng's heartbeat became faster. He had thrown away his disciple token so as not to let the sect locate him.

There were rumors that the token had a tracking formation installed in it that could help the sect locate disciples.

Since he couldn't show his token, he apologized: "I'm sorry, lord Xingsen, but I don't have my disciple token with me right now as I'm on a secret mission. That token could give away my identity to my enemies."

"Oh," Tuo Xingsen smiled: "Don't worry, I'll just ask the sect about you. Please tell me your name."

Qin Feng's hands turned sweaty as beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.

He couldn't tell him his name. The sect would instantly come and find him.

Then the demonic treasure and him both will be destroyed.

"I'm sorry, lord Xingsen, but, I cannot reveal my identity as it would expose my mission."

He tried to make up an excuse.

Instantly Tuo Xingsen narrowed his eyes and said: "You're lying. You think you can fool me? For some reason, you don't want the sect to find out about you and I think that works in my favor."

Being a king realm expert, he could clearly hear his rising heartbeat and sweaty forehead. This allowed him to discern his words.

Tuo Xingsen revealed an evil smile: "You see, I cannot let witnesses of my nephew's crime leave alive. They can expose him which could lead to his execution. I love him very much and can't let that happen to him."

He sighed helplessly: "We all have to commit crimes to save our family."

A sinister smile appeared on his face as he said before attacking: "Please don't hate me after you die."

An icicle spike shot out of his hand towards Qin Feng and the girl behind him.

Qin Feng immediately summoned his sword from the space ring and defended against the icicle spike.

Clang!

He could only hold the spike's force for a second before,

Boom!

He was sent crashing into the wall of the room due to the force behind the spike.

He realized just how weak he was infront of a King realm cultivator.

"Brother Feng Qin!" Hu Nian yelled.

"I should get rid of the girl first."

As soon as this sentence entered Qin Feng's ears, he saw an icicle spike pierce Hu Nian's back and come out of her belly. "Arrgh!"

Blood flowed out of her mouth and body as she fell to the ground.

"NO!!!" Qin Feng roared as the moment when he promised her father to save her flashed in his mind.

He was reminded of the pain in her father's voice and his tears when he screamed for help.

Also, the moment when he had smashed the door and Hu Nian came rushing into his arms, trusting him to save her.

All these memories overwhelmed his agony, making him realize just what he had lost.

"You!! I'll kill You!!" He roared with fury-filled red eyes.

Hearing his threat, Tuo Xingsen laughed:

"A weak origin realm kid dares to threaten me? What a joke!"

However, suddenly his laughter abruptly stopped in between as a crimson glow gushed out from Qin Feng's upper chest area.

"W-What is this glow?" Tuo Xingsen wondered as a crimson necklace appeared around Qin Feng's neck.

He then heard his low voice resounding in the room:

"Kill!"
