Before Shea could respond, Zorath's voice cut through the pavilion, his anger growing. "Stop singing, you stupid creature!" he bellowed, raising his whip high.

The siren in the cage—Shea's other self—flinched in fear as the whip cracked, striking the bars of the cage with a loud, echoing snap. She cowered on the floor, her broken wings trembling as she begged for mercy. "Please… let me go," she whispered, her voice weak and desperate. "I… I just want to see him… Where is he? Where is Sir Knight?"

Zorath's lip curled in disgust. He stepped closer to the cage, his cold eyes glaring down at the broken siren. "Sir Knight? He even didn't give you his name?" he sneered. "He's gone. Why would a respectable knight like him want to be with a creature like you?

You're not even human."

The siren's eyes widened in disbelief. "No… that's not true," she cried, her voice cracking with sorrow. "He… he loves me. He promised we'd be together. That we'd be happy… forever."

Zorath scoffed, his face twisting with cruel amusement. "He lied to you, foolish girl. That's why he gave you to us. He didn't want you. He wanted to get rid of you." He let the words sink in, his tone laced with venom. "Why else would he leave you here, caged like an animal?

Now stop singing."

The siren shook her head, her tear-filled eyes staring up at Zorath in desperation. "No, that's impossible! He promised me! He said he would turn me into a real human! That we could live together, that he would love me!" Her voice was growing frantic, her once-beautiful song now broken by sobs. "He said… we'd be happy."

Zorath's laughter filled the air, dark and mocking. "Turn you into a human?" he spat. "By cutting off your wings? By pulling out all your feathers? Is that how you think he'll love you?"

The siren recoiled at his words, her body trembling with a mixture of fear and heartbreak. She touched her mangled wing, staring at it as if seeing it for the first time. The horror in her eyes deepened, her once firm belief in her knight's promise crumbling under Zorath's cruelty.

"I… I thought…" she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Zorath's whip cracked again, this time striking the bars of the cage with even more force. "You're a fool," he hissed, his voice dripping with contempt. "You were never going to be human. You're just a cursed creature. And your knight? He abandoned you."

The siren flinched at his words, her frail body trembling as the reality of her situation seemed to crash down on her. Her eyes, once filled with hope and love, now reflected only despair. She sat huddled on the floor of the cage, her broken wings lying limply at her sides. Tears streamed down her pale face, but her lips quivered as though she was still clinging to some last shred of hope.

Watching from the sidelines, the real Shea grimaced, clenching her fists. "Ugh, I want to kill him so bad," she muttered under her breath.

Larissa, standing beside her, gave a soft chuckle. "That priest is dead already. No point in killing a corpse."

Shea huffed but didn't take her eyes off the scene. "Yeah, but that 'Sir Knight' he's talking about… he might not be dead yet."

Bella raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the possibility. "Maybe you should ask the game developers who that Sir Knight is. Sounds like someone important to kill."

Before Shea could respond, Jane hushed them, her eyes locked on the unfolding flashback. "Shh, concentrate on the flashback, guys. This is going to be a tragic story. You can just feel it."

Alice leaned against a pillar, arms crossed, her expression somewhere between amusement and curiosity. "I just wish I had some popcorn for this."

Zorath continued to berate the siren. His anger filled the air. With a final sneer, he turned his back on her, ready to leave her to her misery.

But then… a voice. Deep and dark, reverberating through the pavilion.

"Sing for me..."

The words seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere all at once. The group stiffened, their eyes widening in alarm. For a brief, unsettling moment, they thought it was Allen speaking. The darkness of the voice was eerily familiar, carrying the same power that Allen's Devil Emperor persona exuded.

But it wasn't Allen. His mouth hadn't moved.

The siren, still crumpled on the floor, looked up at the sound of the voice. There was something in her eyes, a glimmer of determination that hadn't been there before. Or maybe it was something darker—something twisted and broken inside her. She opened her mouth and began to sing once more, her voice even sadder than before, filled with the anguish of betrayal and hopelessness.

Zorath, who had already started walking away, froze. His face twisted into a mask of fury. He spun around, his eyes blazing. "Stop singing!" he roared, raising his whip once more. "I said stop!"

"Louder…" The deep, dark voice spoke again, its tone almost coaxing. "I will give you power..."

Zorath's face twisted in pain. He stumbled back, clutching his chest as if something unseen was gripping his heart. His whip fell to the ground, forgotten. "Stop it..." he gasped, his voice weaker now. "Stop singing!"

But the siren didn't stop. She poured every ounce of her soul into the song, her tears flowing freely as her voice rang out, stronger and more defiant with each note, fueling the curse that now consumed the entire monastery.
