Chapter 875 Morning Date [Part 2]
Villain Ch 875. Morning Date [Part 2]
Allen's heart pounded with excitement as he stood outside Larissa's door, the bouquet of flowers in one hand and the bag of breakfast in the other. He took a deep breath, then knocked. A moment later, he heard footsteps approaching. The door swung open, revealing Larissa.
She was wearing a casual yet stylish outfit, a fitted tank top that showcased her toned arms and a pair of soft, yoga pants that hugged her curves. Her hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail, a few strands framing her face.
Her eyes widened in surprise as she saw the bouquet of flowers. "Oh my gosh, Allen!" she exclaimed, a smile spreading across her face. "You are so sweet." She stepped forward and kissed him, a quick, soft peck on the lips. "Thank you so much."
Allen grinned, feeling a warm flush of happiness. "And that's not all," he said, holding up the bag. "I brought breakfast too."
Larissa's eyes sparkled with delight. "You're amazing. Come in!" She stepped aside, allowing him to enter.
Allen walked in, the familiar scent of her apartment wrapping around him like a comforting hug. Larissa immediately busied herself, finding a vase for the flowers. "These are beautiful," she said, arranging them carefully. "You really know how to make a girl feel special."
Allen chuckled, setting the bag of food on the kitchen counter. "Glad you like them. I figured you deserve something nice this morning."
As Larissa tidied up the flowers, she glanced over her shoulder at him. "I was shocked when I got your message early this morning. I thought it was a booty call or something." She said it in a teasing tone, a playful glint in her eyes.
Allen pressed his lips together, suddenly feeling a bit awkward. It kind of was a booty call, in a way, but he wasn't sure how to explain that. His silence made Larissa turn around fully, her eyebrows raised. "Wait, was it really a booty call?"
Allen glanced at her, a sheepish smile creeping onto his face. "Do you want to know the whole story? I'll happily tell you."
Larissa's hands paused mid-movement, her curiosity piqued. "Does this have anything to do with something that happened at the gym?"
Allen nodded, feeling the heat rise in his cheeks.
Larissa's eyes narrowed playfully. "Does this have anything to do with Sophia?" She asked, a smirk tugging at her lips.
Allen nodded again, this time with an annoyed expression. "Yeah, it does."
Larissa quickened her movements, transferring the food onto plates and setting everything up. She then sat down next to Allen, her face lit with excitement. "Tell me about it," she urged, leaning in closer.
Allen took a deep breath, thinking back to the events at the gym. "So, I was doing my usual workout, right? And Sophia decided to approach Mark. She was being all flirty and stuff, clearly trying to get my attention."
Larissa's eyebrows shot up. "Really? That sounds like her. What did she do?"
Allen sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "She was really laying it on thick. Laughing at everything he said, touching his arm. You know, the whole nine yards. And then Gerry, you know Gerry, right? He joked that maybe Sophia was trying to compete with your...
um... booty size."
Larissa burst out laughing. "Oh my God, Gerry would say something like that. What happened next?"
Allen shook his head, a frustrated look crossing his face. "Well, his comment got stuck in my head. I couldn't stop thinking about... well, you and Sophia. And it totally messed up my workout. I kept getting distracted, and to make things worse, Sophia started making these unnecessary moans while working out with Mark.@@novelbin@@
It was driving me nuts."
Larissa's laughter grew louder. "Unnecessary moans? Seriously?" Her eyes widened.
"Yeah," Allen said, rolling his eyes. "It was like she was putting on a show or something. And I couldn't focus at all. I just kept thinking about... you know, lewd things." He ended his explanation with a tired huff.
Larissa's laughter died down to a giggle. "Oh, Allen. That sounds so frustrating."
"It was," Allen said, leaning back in his chair. "I just wanted to get out of there and see you. Clear my head."
Larissa reached over and squeezed his hand. "Well, I'm glad you came over. And thank you for the flowers and breakfast. This is really sweet. But…" Larissa's words stopped and she suddenly burst into another soft laughter. Allen turned to her, eyebrows raised in curiosity.
"What's so funny?" he asked, a grin tugging at his lips.
Larissa tried to compose herself but ended up laughing harder. "I just can't believe out of all the people she chose to flirt with, she picked Mark." Her chuckles between her words.
Allen looked puzzled. "What's so funny about that?"
Larissa took a deep breath, wiping away a tear of laughter. "Mark isn't straight, Allen," she announced.
Allen's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait, so he doesn't like women?"
Larissa nodded, still smiling. "Yeah, that's right."
Allen shook his head, a look of realization dawning on his face. "That explains why he was so cold towards her earlier. She must have been totally wasting her time."
Larissa chuckled. "Yep. But don't tell anyone, okay?"
Allen frowned, tilting his head. "Why? Is he trying to keep it a secret? Is he embarrassed by it?"
Larissa shook her head. "No, it's not that. Mark knows that about 20 to 30 percent of his clients take his services because they have a crush on him. They're just looking for reasons to be close to him, not really for health reasons or fitness goals."
Allen laughed. "That's hilarious. So he's like the gym heartthrob, huh?" Continue your adventure with My Virtual Library Empire
"Pretty much," Larissa said, giggling. "He's aware of it and doesn't mind, as long as they're respectful and serious about their training. But it's funny to see someone like Sophia, who's probably convinced she can get any guy, fail so spectacularly." She ended it with another laugh.
What do you think?
