Villain Ch 949. One Player Vs One Guild [Part 6]

Allen reached out, grabbing Gil by the throat and lifting him off the ground, using him as a human shield.

The arrows struck Gil's body, thudding into his flesh with sickening accuracy. Gil let out a choked cry, his eyes wide with pain and shock. Allen's grip was like iron, unyielding and merciless. He held Gil's struggling form aloft, using him to absorb the incoming projectiles.

The sound of the arrows hitting Gil's body was a series of dull thuds. The archers, seeing their arrows strike true but realizing too late that they had hit their comrade.

Gil's HP dropped to zero. Allen felt the weight of the lifeless body in his grasp, the blood-soaked form limp and unresisting. He lowered Gil's body and peeked to where the arrows came from, the once-determined warrior now a mere husk.

"Nice aim," Allen sneered, his voice dripping with mocking contempt. He tossed the lifeless body toward the stunned archers, who recoiled in shock and horror.

Without missing a beat, Allen activated his Demonic Lances again. Dark, sinister lances materialized around him. With a swift motion, he launched the lances toward the archers, the dark projectiles slicing through the air.

The archers, still reeling from the sight of their fallen comrade, struggled to react in time. The lances struck their targets, piercing through armor and flesh. The screams of the wounded filled the air, mingling with the sounds of the ongoing battle. The force of the impact sent some archers flying backward, their bodies crumpling to the ground. "Charge!" a male voice suddenly rang out, cutting through the chaos. Allen turned toward the source of the sound, his eyes narrowing as he saw Elio charging at him. Elio's shield was held in front like a battering ram, his intent clear.

It was too late for Allen to dodge. He quickly shifted his stance, raising his sword to absorb the impact.

- BAM!

The two collided with a resounding clash, the force sending shockwaves through the ground. Allen gritted his teeth as he felt the sheer power behind the attack, his boots digging into the ground as he was pushed backward.

Elio's charge managed to push Allen back several feet, creating a clear trail in the dust and debris beneath them. The ground seemed to tremble with their collision.

Allen's muscles strained as he held his ground, his sword vibrating with the force of the impact. Elio's determination was palpable, his eyes blazing with a fierce resolve. "We won't let you win!" Elio declared, his voice filled with defiance.

Allen's smirk never faltered. "You're welcome to try," he replied, his voice cold and taunting. With a surge of strength, he pushed back against Elio, their clash sending sparks flying. The two warriors were evenly matched in that moment, their weapons locked in a deadly embrace.

With a growl, Allen shifted his weight and twisted his body, breaking the deadlock. He swung his sword in a powerful arc, aiming to unbalance Elio. Elio blocked the strike with his shield, the impact sending vibrations up his arm. He countered with a swift thrust of his sword, forcing Allen to step back and reassess.

Elio's determination was evident in every move he made. "We fight for each other," he shouted, rallying his guildmates. "We won't let you take us down!"

Due to Elio's command, a squad of paladins emerged from their hiding places, charging at Allen from all sides. Their armor gleamed with holy light due to the priest's Holy Water, and their shields were held high as they aimed to surround and overwhelm the Devil Emperor. Elio retreated to give his guildmates room to execute their plan.

"Cheap trick," Allen muttered, his eyes narrowing as he assessed the incoming paladins. He knew they intended to corner him, to use their combined strength to bring him down. But he had no intention of being caught so easily.

The paladins closed in. Their formation was tight and unyielding, Allen raised his hand. "Stone Curse," he intoned, his voice echoing with dark power. The spell rippled through the air, turning the charging paladins into stone statues mid-stride. The sudden petrification halted their momentum, their bodies frozen in place with expressions of determination etched into their stone faces.

Allen moved among them with casual, almost leisurely steps. The sound of his boots against the stone floor was a contrast to the stillness around him. He swung his sword with precision, shattering the stone statues and ending the paladins' lives trapped within. Each swing of his blade was accompanied by the sound of cracking stone and the dull thud of bodies hitting the ground.

The remaining guild members watched in horror as their comrades fell. The sound of Allen's sword slicing through stone and flesh was a chilling reminder of his power. The clang of metal against metal, the shattering of stone, and the desperate cries of the wounded filled the air, creating a chaotic and terrifying symphony.

Elio, watching from a distance, felt a surge of frustration and desperation. His plan had failed, and his guildmates were paying the price. He knew he had to act quickly to turn the tide of battle. "Regroup!" he shouted, rallying the remaining guild members. "Form up and focus your attacks! We can still take him down!"

The guild members responded to Elio's call, regrouping and forming a defensive line. Archers nocked their arrows, magic users prepared their spells, and the remaining melee fighters readied their weapons. They knew they were facing an uphill battle, but they refused to give up.

Allen, seeing the regrouping effort, smirked. "Persistent, aren't you?" he taunted, his voice dripping with contempt. He stepped over the shattered remains of the paladins, his eyes locked onto the guild members preparing for another assault.

The archers let loose a volley of arrows. The arrows whistled through the air, a deadly rain aimed straight at Allen. Simultaneously, the magic users unleashed their spells, hurling fireballs, ice shards, and bolts of lightning at the Devil Emperor.

Allen's smirk widened as he raised his hand, summoning his barrier once more. The shimmering dome of dark energy enveloped him, deflecting the incoming arrows and spells. The clash of metal and magic against the barrier created a cacophony of sound, the impacts reverberating through the hall.
