Chapter 38: Marriage

After Lin Jia resigned, she followed Yang Yu to Shanghai. Ding Dian planned to join them once she finished handling the café.

Meanwhile, Meng Yun and Yu Fei had been having a streak of bad luck. A few days ago, a design they submitted for a client was exposed as plagiarism.

At first, they didn’t take it seriously. Meng Yun was confident he hadn’t copied anyone’s work, so he wasn’t afraid of an investigation.

But then, one plagiarism accusation after another surfaced.

Government agencies began inspecting their company one after another, making it impossible for the business to operate normally. As rumors spread, they lost all potential clients.

Lin Jia nodded. She had never intended to reach out to them anyway. She had only refrained from blocking them. Seeing how serious Yang Yu was, she assumed he was just jealous.
