Chapter 480

"Who was the boy I saw in the dream?" Keith asked as soon as he retired to his room, and immediately received an answer from the System.

{That was Damien Eisenhardt who was wearing a mask and was on his way to China.}

When he heard those words, his brows furrowed. He already had this hunch, and before he could ask his next question, the system spoke again.

{He's no longer on Gaia and is somewhere in the Lower Heaven.}

The System confirmed that Damien had been saved by the Destiny.

"So, the Plans of Destiny have changed for him."

{Yes, Host. Gaia was deemed too dangerous for him, considering that his Invincible Halo was going to wear off in a few months. So, he has been sent away. The reason is the deaths of several Children of Destiny at your hands.}

Keith could not say that he was not expecting this to happen. His actions were bound to bring changes to the Plans of Destiny that were in place for these Blessed Ones.

"Roy is still here?"

Keith knew that Aerion was still here, after all, the boy possessed one of the strongest Systems and was also one of the strongest Children of Destiny. He could never really be in any danger here.

He sighed and was a little relieved in his heart that Avriel was inside Aerzar. Who knew what would have happened to her if she was on Gaia? Perhaps, she would have been sent to Lower Heaven too with Damien.

{No, Host. She would have not been sent away.}

"Is that so?" A smile crept on his face.

{Don't you know the answer in your heart?} The System asked back, and he smiled some more before putting his attention to the Experience Bar.

After finishing the Main and Side quests for every Child of Destiny he had faced so far, he was still 13,500 Experience points short of making it to 50,000.

Keith knew that the Quest Rewards for Avriel, Kashish, Roulan, and the Twins wouldn't be enough to make it to 50,000 Points.

However, he still had the Quest for Roy Windson active.

[Main Quest 8: Subdue Roy Windson, the Child of Destiny. Reward: 10,000 System Experience. 10,000 System Points. A Mystery Box with randomised reward.]

[Difficulty: Moderate.]

[Time Limit: None.]

Once this Quest was finished, it would be easy to upgrade the System to Level 3, which was his goal.

Keith wanted to achieve these 50,000 Points before leaving Gaia, but he was not too concerned about it.

Gathering his thoughts, he checked the notifications he had missed, including the ones informing him that Damien Eisenhardt had been sent to Lower Heaven.

[Ding! The Host has successfully completed the Main Quest 7 and killed the Child of Destiny, Qin Feng. Quest Reward: 4000 System Experience. 4500 System Points. 3170 Fate Points. A Mysterious Box.]

[Additional Reward: The Divine Nirvana Physique has already been collected.]

"A Mysterious Box?" He raised his brow as he saw a Shiny Chest inside the System Inventory, and the moment his thoughts reached it, the box opened and vaporised, leaving behind a silver Egg with intricate patterns on it, which was larger than a Basketball.

{Congratulations on receiving an Egg of a Divine Beast!}

Keith summoned the Egg in his hand and then just stared at it, his heart already racing in anticipation. Considering what had come out of the last Egg that he had received from the System, he was quite excited.

However, he soon calmed down his nerves, and even though he could not see inside the Egg, he could still feel two Life Signatures coming from it that the Fragment of the Book of Life had picked up on.

"Did you steal this Egg?" He narrowed his eyes and asked.

He knew very well that the Systems could not create Divine beings. Even the Divine Bloodlines that would later be available in the System Shops would be incomplete.

So, this only meant that the System had warped this Egg from some other world.

{The Remnant World where this Egg was hidden collapsed, and the System saved it from getting destroyed together with everything else. Some things will later be available in System Shop once it upgrades to Level 3.}

The answer surprised him a little, and then he smiled.

"Are the rewards in the Mysterious Box random?" Even though he had the answer in his heart, he still asked.

{No. The System decides what it wants to give to the Host. However, all Mysterious Boxes will contain things that will be beneficial to the Host.}

"Why hide the reward then?" He chuckled.

{For fun.}

"Right." He shook his head but had to admit that unknown rewards were quite fun, considering how they generated a hint of anticipation inside of him.

"Who would be the most suited for these two Beasts?" He asked the System, which remained silent for a while. "Come on." He urged, having already confirmed that this reward was not random, and finally received the answer.@@novelbin@@

{Kiara and Minami.}

Keith smiled when he heard those words.

"So, we have two foxes here?" He knowingly asked.

Last time, he had received a Fey Dragon, and Feifei's Soul Beast was also a Fey Dragon.

Now that the System took Kiara and Minami's names, one of the things they both shared was their Aura Soul Beasts. Their Aura Soul Beasts were foxes.

The silence from the System was good enough of an answer for him, and even though he was tempted to keep the Egg, he decided to give it to his daughters.

"Kiara, Minami."

Keith took their names, calling out to them, and soon, the two girls entered his room and then immediately rushed up to him when they saw what he was holding in his hands.

"Want it?" He playfully asked, and Kiara pouted at his words.

"Where's mine?" She asked, already giving it away to her sister, eliciting a sweet smile on her face.

"You can have it," Minami told her, and before Kiara could shake her head, Keith spoke.

"It's for both of you." He smiled and then instructed them to drip their Blood on it and feed it their Mana and Aura.

As soon as they heard his words, their hearts skipped a beat. They now knew that the Egg held Twin Beasts, and their eyes glinted in excitement.

Minutes later, as both of them kept feeding the Egg their Aura and Mana, cracks finally started appearing on it, exuding a bright light.

Seeing it happening, their hearts started racing, but they kept their breathing in check.

Suddenly, accompanied by a sound similar to that of shattering glass, a blinding light erupted from the Egg, and both of them instinctively switched to their true eyes as they wanted to watch what was happening.

The eggshell had turned into specks of light, and then that light started flowing into the bodies of the two fox pups who were huddled together.

When the light subsided, two fox Pups emerged from it, and as soon as they opened their beautiful stary blue eyes, they happily let out a cheerful yelp.

Their unblemished white coats were already quite fluffy, and the manes around their necks gave them a majestic look.

What was interesting was that instead of one, both had twin tails.

Needless to say, both the girls were gushing over the two pups and laughed when they started licking their hands and climbing up their bodies to get to their heads.

Neither Minami nor Kiara cared about what Grade of Beasts these were, but in their hearts, and through the connection they now had with these Beasts, they could feel that these two pups were very special.

The pups were very small right now, just the size of a newborn pup, but unlike the newborn pups, they were already very beautiful and active.

In just a minute, the three of them knew that these two Beasts were incredibly mischievous as they were already running all over the room.

"No thanks?" He feigned some hurt and asked when he saw Kiara and Minami chase after the Beasts and pick them up in their arms.

"I love you!" They both said in unison and then floated up to plant a quick kiss on either side of his face.

And before he could tease them more, they ran out of the room to show their new pets to the rest of the family.

Keith knew that he was going to get a lot of complaining eyes later, so he wisely exited Aerzar and arrived on the surface of the Frozen Lake.

Seeing that no trace of Qin Feng remained there, he faintly smiled, and then he rushed towards the Qin Sect as fast as he could.

It was nighttime, well past midnight, when he arrived in the Valley. Not bothering to greet the guards, he simply teleported to the house where he sensed Rebecca and Rouxi's presence.

His sudden appearance caught them by surprise, and Rouxi almost yelped before she threw herself in his arms.

She hugged him with all her might, and he could feel her heart beating through her chest.

Rebecca sweetly smiled at him when their eyes met, and then stood up to jump and wrap her arms around his neck as soon Rouxi let go of him.

"Slept well?"

"Yes." He nudged his nose with hers before kissing her, and she was not in the least restrained.

Rouxi blushed when she saw them kissing without a care, and thankfully for her, they both separated after a while.

"Senpai!" Iseul, who was silently standing behind Rebecca, finally spoke and then sweetly smiled when Keith walked over to hug her and kiss her.

He glanced at the screen of her laptop, and on it, he found a live feed of what the late Qin Feng's wife was doing right now.
