The vanguard attacked first. Since modern weapons were ineffective against the hoards of monsters, they simply used their own strength.

Barry drew out his sword and slashed out. His aura exploded with a tint of holiness, breaking the skeleton soldiers before him like twigs.

Nathan's sword bloomed with a heavy light as he made a vertical slash. The sword aura exploded as the skeletons and ghouls before him exploded into chunks.

As the Lich commanded, the shadow behind him rippled.

" Damn it! You bastards!" The Lich was stunned as he was bound by glowing golden chains.

" Hurry up and crush him. We must destroy his life core" Freezer shouted.

" Damn it, Looks like you were prepared for him." Nathan's face turned gloomy as he looked at the leader of the Shadow Cult's group.

" We don't have any time to chat. If the life core of a lich isn't destroyed, he is basically an immortal."

" Attack that bastard while he was restrained!"

" Damn it! Dark Mist!" The Lich raised its scepter as a dark mist blocked everyone's vision.

As everyone cheered, Johnson suddenly shouted.

The Lich's body suddenly expanded as it exploded into a dark mist.

" Aaargh! My body!"

The members of Shadow Cult who were in charge of keeping the lich confined, suddenly melted into a pool of meat and bones due to the dark mist.

To everyone's horror, they saw the Dark Lich's body slowly transforming into an ordinary skeleton before turning into dust.

The darkness around the main tomb room rippled as Dark Lich appeared again.

" So? How was my trick? I hope it garnered some applause."

" Damn it! Spell of Disguise!" Frezer cursed as he realized what happened.

Looks like the Dark Lich disguised an ordinary skeleton into his appearance and sent forward. After everyone exhausted their ultimate attacks on him, he swiftly disposed and appeared forward with his real body.

" It's truly fun here." The Lich raised his scepter." Now, Be my slaves!"

Pitch black radiance erupted from his scepter as the destroyed skeletons and ghouls gathered and merged into a giant corpse monster.

With countless skeletal arms around it like a centipede's legs, its chest area was covered by an armor of ribcages.

Even the corpse monster shrunk back as burns appeared on its skin, as if someone poured burning oil on its skin.

" I have used the Statue of Angel and purified this area. It will suppress all dark and evil existence around it." Johnson panted as he leaned against the wall.

" Professor, Are you…"

" Gary, Don't worry about me." Johnson clenched Gary's hand. " You must go and defeat that bastard quickly. The statue's power will fade in ten minutes."

" Rest assured, Professor. We are going to get out of this place alive." Gary nodded as he looked at the Dark Lich.

Everyone's wounds and ailments caused by the dark energy faded like mist.

" Alright fellas, Looks like everyone is at the end of the stick." Nathan clenched his sword as he drank an elixir.

" I will buy one minute. Focus on killing that bastard."

" Everyone, get ready!"

*Random fight happens. Skipped a fight of ten minutes*

" Haah! HAHAHA!"

The Lich was kneeling on the ground, holding his scepter to balance himself.

" Fuck, I didn't know…There would be someone wielding the power of Holy Knight…"

Nathan was lying dead on the ground. Luke was leaning against the wall as he was trying to stop his bleeding.

However, at that moment, he didn't care about his injury because an amazing thing was unfolding under his gaze.

Luke laughed as he saw the golden aura oozing around Barry, his sword shining like a greatsword blessed with golden holy energy.

As the dust settled, Barry's sword crushed the life core of the lich.

The lich was unwilling as his voice faded. Barry slumped on his knees as he panted.

" Hahaha!"

Gary also sat down and laughed loudly. " Ahahaha!"

" We did it!"

" Yeah. Bro…We fucking did it! HAHA!"

" Yes, How wonderful. Both of you did it."

Everyone was startled as they heard a third person laughing and applauding.

When their gaze fell on him, they were stunned.

" Yo-You! You are from…Elysian High!" Gary trembled as he pointed at the newcomer.

" Jonathan…You are Jonathan Veneto!"

Jun Tianyun walked out gracefully as he adjusted his suit. " Hmm, I don't need to introduce myself then."

" As I said, You guys did it." Jun Tianyun smiled and clapped.

" And now, You are done for."

Before Gary could move, Jun Tianyun appeared before him, kicking his chest and sending him flying.

Gary rolled on the ground as he coughed a mouthful of blood. Jun Tianyun knelt before him as he poked his finger on Gary's forehead, slowly pressing downwards.

Jun Tianyun murmured as blood seeped from Gary's forehead.

Gary felt as if his soul was splitting apart as Jun Tianyun pulled something out of him.

Jun Tianyun turned his head around and shushed Barry, gesturing him to stay put.

His gaze was pressurizing, like the gaze of a god. Barry trembled as he couldn't even move.

Gary's exploded as his brain matter splattered around with an obscene squelch. It was an extreme gorey scene, but Jun Tianyun remained unblemished as a golden book appeared in his hand.

" Ah, Got it. It would be great to study it."

The book buzzed as it tried to escape. But Jun Tianyun simply threw it inside his God's Space.

" Now, the next person is…"

Rubbing his palm, Jun Tianyun's gaze fell on Barry Burton.
