Alicia glanced sideways, a boy with totally disheveled green hair and green eyes emitting immense killing intent. His feet touched the ground without making any sound, then he leaped forward. His daggers gleamed; he moved his hands, placing his daggers vertically, while a faint aura emanated from them.

The man facing them quickly shouted, and his body trembled even more. A thin layer of smoke emerged from him, exploding on the spot. Nicholas' eyes widened in shock; his mana completely covered his body as green crystalline scales emerged from his skin.

The deafening noise resonated through this part of the forest. Liquids and a thin layer of brown smoke emerged from him. Nicholas spat out a mouthful of blood, his complexion turning pale, his skin completely burnt by the liquid, which began to sear his flesh as if on a grill. A dull thud sounded behind him, and he watched as another body fell to the ground.

Alicia breathed heavily, her fair and smooth skin bearing signs of burns on her arms. She groaned slightly in pain as she gritted her teeth, taking a green crystal from her ring and squeezing it. After healing their wounds, Alicia sincerely said, "Thank you for helping me." Nicholas looked at her with a smile. "It's nothing," he shook his head, looking disdainfully at his completely dirty clothes and feeling a terrible repulsion. He quickly took out another shirt and removed the dirty one, then nodded.
