Villain's Valor: A Noble Fantasy Resurrection

Chapter 276 Abomination

In another place, an equally fierce battle was unfolding.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" A devastating scream pierced the ears of all the students, causing their bodies to tremble with fear. Charging like a giant, a being with multiple limbs protruding from its grotesque body, viscous fluids oozing from it, it was a terrible combination of many students' bodies fused together into one enormous flesh body from the depths of hell.

Thousands of eyes adorned its body in a macabre fashion, blinking desperately, as if trying to convey something.

"Defend the main line!" ordered a girl with black hair and gray eyes authoritatively, her expression dark as she looked at the green-robed bastards standing in the distance, as if they were watching something very entertaining.

"Yes, princess!" shouted the students and ran with weapons in hand towards the battlefield. Besides the abomination, there were other types of deformed bodies running like mad towards the students. In the center of the battle, swords, spears, daggers, and halberds clashed brutally, and the battlefield quickly descended into chaos within seconds.

The mage students tightened their grips on their hands, watching in horror as some of their companions were brutally massacred. They remained in reserve for the cultists who, for some reason, made no move. Similarly, there was a small group of warriors held back as a reserve.

"Argh!" a student felt sharp hands pierce his abdomen; he gritted his teeth and wielded his sword, cleanly cutting off the head of the faceless creature. As he was about to step back to recover, he found himself surrounded by many more creatures with the same characteristics, suddenly lunging at him.

"Help!" he screamed desperately as his body was brutally torn apart by the daggers in the creatures' hands.

Familiar scenes were unfolding all over the battlefield; many of the students activated their auras, creating beautiful points of light amidst the chaos. Only the strongest had the chance to survive for longer.

"BOOMM!" "BOOMM!" "BOOMM!" "BOOMM!"

The ground split and trembled madly as the abomination charged forward, caring little whether they were allies or enemies. Its larger, grotesque, muscular limbs moved in a symphony of death, chaotic movements crushing anyone who stood in its path to death. The students at the front felt their determination faltering as they watched their comrades being easily slaughtered.

"Rise!" "Rise!"

From the sky, a huge ice peak fell; its shards traveled towards the other creatures, killing them instantly. A thin layer of mist formed in the place, the heat of battle falling silent for a few seconds, until, "Everyone, down!" the princess shouted. Without hesitation, the students crouched down and protected their heads.

Thousands of ice projectiles quickly flew forward, as if from a machine gun, efficiently sweeping across the entire battlefield.

After a few seconds, the thin mist disappeared, and in its place appeared a young woman, a beauty, an ice young lady, with her morally serious eyes looking disdainfully at the cultists in front of her. The students on the ground snapped out of their stupor.

"Thank you very much for your help, Lady Daniela!" many of them thanked her to death, as they didn't want to die in such an inhumane way, and experiencing that was undoubtedly the most terrifying thing they could have imagined, even if it wasn't real life, feeling that sensation was enough to drive anyone insane.@@novelbin@@

Daniela felt lost, but upon seeing the students' bright eyes thanking her from the bottom of their hearts, she put on a small smile. "We're on the same side after all," she said before starting to walk towards Alicia. The two looked at each other and hugged. Daniela saw a green-haired boy lazily lying on a tree branch; she frowned slightly but decided not to say anything about it.

Alicia, seeing that the cultists were still in the same situation, decided to reorganize her small army, also ordering to bring back their fallen comrades from the battle. After regrouping and counting the casualties, it totaled 21 dead. Some of the living drank water while resting.

"That thing stayed still," Daniela muttered, looking carefully at the abomination, which remained as motionless as a statue, with some projectiles all over its body, but apparently they hadn't done it any harm. Alicia also looked at it carefully, sighing. "I really don't know what to think about it," she said, massaging her temples.

She didn't know what kind of plan those crazies had in mind; they hadn't moved during all this time. "I still think it's best to go for them, but of course, we also have to consider that it could be a trap. But of all the people who were here, I'm the best option to take that risk," a lazy voice sounded above them, Nicholas stretched as he rubbed his eyes.

Alicia thought for a moment; although Nicholas's plan was very dangerous, she agreed that it was the best they had in their hands.

"Um... I can also help," a somewhat timid voice interrupted the girls' thoughts. Alicia's gray eyes looked at a boy who was smaller than her with curiosity; it was the first time she had seen this recruit.

Daniela's blue eyes looked at Lirio. "What do you have in mind?" she asked. Lirio hesitated for a moment, moving his hands to create threads of mana. "What I propose is the following."

After hearing Lirio's request, the girls looked at him with bright eyes. Even Nicholas raised an eyebrow, surprised by Lirio's line of thought; indeed, it was the safest option without losing anyone in the process. Nicholas looked at him in a different way; he no longer had to do the hard work. He got comfortable again and closed his eyes satisfied.

"Your plan is brilliant! How long do you need?" Alicia asked excitedly; after all, as the leader of the group, she had to first ensure the survival of her soldiers, and losing them in battle was not good at all.

Lirio hesitated for a moment. "Half an hour should be enough," he said confidently.
