Her smile was dazzling, but all of this added too many points in her favor, except for her eyes, which were almost emotionless and completely cold as they looked at me. She was a dangerous beauty.

Minutes passed until I reached the library. Well, I could see it from a distance. It literally looked like a great temple rising towards the sky, with a huge crystal ball rotating in all directions at the top. Its pillars were massive in size and thickness, as if this structure had stood for thousands of years. It was the only grand library with millions of books in it—books on history, science, and mathematics. Everything about the empire was in this library, and it was the place I had to go.

In front, there was a large house. In fact, it looked more like a mansion. Behind it, a mirage rose. It was magic, a layer or a capsule encircling the entire area around the library. The academic center began with the library, and this was the place where I had to present the card that the professor "lent" me.

Some guards were standing with huge swords in front of them. The problem with this place was that not just anyone could enter, even me, being the son of a great duke, needed permission.
