What Do You Mean I'm The Captain Of A Yandere Mercenary Company?

My eyes peeked at the screen that was showing my side of the bar.

I have already mixed several glasses of beer at this point but only my girls have come forward to claim any of them so far.

All of them seemed to be completely focused on trying to claim Valiea's drinks instead where the moment one appeared, they would immediately press the buzzer to claim it before everyone else.

Yet despite the fact that there was still a large number of them who did not have drinks yet, none of them were trying to claim the ones on my side.

Despite that, I continued to mix drinks without feeling discouraged since I was kind of expecting something like this anyway.

But my girls obviously didn't think that way…

"Ahhh!! This is just the right mix of sweetness and bitterness!! It's so good!!"

"Hmm… Even though it seems simple, the drink flows down your throat well while also giving a nice burn."

"Nyaa… So warm… Ehehehe~ I can just keep drinking this~"

"This does give a sophisticated taste. And it just makes you want to take another sip as well. Only fools would think otherwise."

Girls… I know you're trying to help me but I really doubt that this is going to work…

"Ahhh… I feel so hot all of a sudden!" Amber sighed, pulling down the zip of her suit to reveal the top of her cleavage.

I froze at the sight of that, right as I noticed several of the patrons of the club shift their gaze to openly stare at the top of her chest.

No, no… You will not show off yourself to other people. No one else here gets to see your body but me.

I shot her a look and she seemed to have understood my disapproval and gave me a sheepish smile before zipping her suit up again.

The guys that had been staring at her looked disappointed by that and turned away quickly.

Good…

I went back to mixing another drink when my hand brushed against my own chest.

Then I paused once again.

Wait… I forgot I can use these myself as well…

I turned to the side to see Valiea shaking the mixers which caused her boobs to bounce up and down, the girl clearly not wearing a bra underneath that suit of hers for them to bounce like that…

Heh… Fine then…

I popped back up from behind the counter and fanned myself with my hand, acting like I was also feeling a little warm and unzipped the top of my suit as well, pulling it until it was at the centre of my chest.

Oh? I see now…

So when girls say that they can feel the gazes from others, they really do mean that quite literally…

Already I could feel a sort of uncomfortable pressure coming from the direction of the crowd centred around my chest area.

But whatever! This works in my favour so I'll just have to endure this for a while and then---

My thoughts were cut short when a really icy feeling came from another direction and I turned to see four girls giving me the exact same look I had given Amber earlier as well.

Ah…

Right… I shouldn't be a hypocrite here…

I quickly zipped my suit up again to hide my cleavage before going right back to putting my next mix on the counter to be sent down to the receptacle below.

As I was thinking if there was anything else I could do to get the crowd on the other side to at least try my beers, I overheard some of them starting to talk.

"Not gonna lie… She's hot…"

"True… But her drinks though…"

"She's just using beer to mix them… Is that even counted as mixing?"

"Well… She seems to be mixing the beers together quite deliberately so I don't know?"

"It feels like she's just winging it…"

"Those four girls have been happily drinking those beers this entire time though… And they look like they genuinely enjoy them…"

"You're just saying that because those girls are hot too."

"Perhaps… But hey… At this rate we're not even going to get anything to drink tonight since everyone is competing for Miss Valie's drinks… And hers is just there for the taking too…"

"Hmm… I guess we might as well just try them out huh?"

"Ha? We? No, no. You can go try it out yourself if you want. I'm feeling classy tonight so I ain't going to just drink some cheap ass beer from the tap."

"She's still mixing them though?"

"As I said, you can go try them out if you want, but I ain't touching them."

"Hmph… Whatever then."

I thought I made no progress until that person pressed his buzzer and strolled forward, ignoring the jeers coming from his friends that he left behind.

He simply grabbed a random glass and went back, his companions teasing him and slapping him on the back when he finally rejoined them.

He endured their teasing until he finally brought the glass up to his mouth, taking a sip from the liquid.

I was watching his reaction closely since I wanted to see if I needed to change these mixtures to accommodate the tastes of the crowd.

As the other guy said, they were looking to drink my opponent's mixes and since she wasn't using a machine, her mixes might actually be of considerable quality as compared to mine and I might need to change some things to match her.

The guy sipped it… Then he took another mouthful… Then he tilted his head back and continued drinking it.

His friends noticed and frowned.

"Hey dude! Woah, woah! First time I'm seeing you chug it down like that!"

"Woah man!! What's wrong with you?!"

"Hey, hey! Calm down dude! Woah!"

The guy didn't even respond to them and chugged the entire thing down in one go, completely emptying it.

Even though the liquid was already gone, he still shook the glass above his mouth to get the last few drops out before he spun towards his friends.

"Dude… It's amazing…"

That was all he said before he pressed the buzzer again and rushed forward to take another glass to chug in front of his friends.

His friends looked at each other skeptically before they too went forward to take a glass for themselves.

The others in the crowd took notice and they got to watch a group of them chug down their beers in no time flat, one of them even sticking his finger into the mug to scoop out a drop of it just to bring it to his mouth.

"This… This is amazing!"

"Is this really just beer?!"

"What the heck?! What have I been drinking all my life then?!"

"I must… Hic… Haft moreee…"

Wow… One of them is already drunk after a single mug… That guy's a real lightweight…

They quickly pressed their buzzers once more and they rushed to grab even more beers from my section, guess I'm going to have to speed up my mixing as well.

"Hey… They're really going for the other girl's beer…"

"Do you think it's really that good? I mean… They are really chugging them down…"

"Maybe she paid them ahead of time to act like that?"

"Nah… I know those people, they're regulars here."

"Huh… In that case… Maybe we should just give it a try anyway?"

There was a short pause before several of them clicked their buzzers and came forward to grab a glass.

I also eyed the new group in case they had different opinions compared to the first group while I mixed in a new batch, taking a moment to grab one of those synthfruits to give it a taste to know what I can use them for.

Ugh… I'm assuming this one is supposed to taste like lime but the taste is a little bit… Off?

If I crush it and then use the other synthfruit I tasted earlier to mix them together into a juice, I might be able to get a better tasting lime than whatever this is.

I went ahead to start doing just that since it has now become apparent that my mixes are obviously acceptable to them and they wanted more.

I also started tasting a few of the other bottles of alcohol using shot glasses just so that I could have an idea of what I might also want to use for later mixes… Until a cry came from in front of me.

I looked down to see a few of the patrons kneeling down on the ground to face in my direction with their hands clasped together.

"Please! Please give us more! We need more!!"

Eh?

I looked at the screen and I realised that all the beer I have mixed so far had already been taken and they were all waiting for me to make more.

Damn, that was fast… Guess I'll just have to concentrate on making beer then…
