What Do You Mean I'm The Captain Of A Yandere Mercenary Company?

Chapter 486: Let's Start 'Simple'

The car turned into a multi storey car park attached to an apartment and it drove straight into a box at the end of the driveway, stopping within that box which caused a door to slide shut behind the car.

The box turned out to be a lift as we were raised up before it stopped at a certain floor, prompting the door behind the car to slide open again.

Ragbar then backed the car up into a room that definitely was a garage before putting the car into park.

"We're here, ladies~ Oh wow, that makes me sound like some kind of playboy~ Haha!"

No one paid him any attention as we got out of the car, Amber and I carrying the two sleeping girls out in our arms.

Valiea guided us to a door at the side of the room and there seemed to be some kind of sensor as the door unlocked and slid open by itself when she got close to it.

Before we stepped through, she suddenly called out, "Friends are visiting."

Oh? Are there also others in the house? Ah, maybe they have kids since they are married after all.

But then when I got to the door, I saw several automated turrets sliding back up into the ceiling and moving back out of sight.

"Security systems, just in case we are followed back home or forced here. That's the password to deactivate them if we walk to the door with unidentified people," She explained without any prompting.

Err… Ok… Now I'm really not envious of the life you are living here because it seems like you are worried about your lives almost all the time… Even we as Mercs don't have that problem…

Looking around, their apartment seemed quite cozy as the front door led to a small entrance hall where we took off our shoes and placed them on a shoe rack that popped out from the wall.

The entrance hall had this holographic screen that was showing a scene of a beach where the waves crashed against the sands. It was even playing the sounds of the waves too when we entered.

The corridor then turned left which Valiea led us through, revealing the living room that featured a sunken floor and large wraparound couches surrounding a black coffee table in the centre.

The wall was blank on the side that the couches were facing so I suspect that a screen was supposed to be projected there when turned on or something.

"You can let your friends lay down on the couch here," Valiea gestured towards the living room.

Amber and I did just that, though I laid Ries down on the couch softly, Amber didn't even bother with Lea as she simply dropped her on the couch like she was baggage.

At least the couch was soft enough that I don't think the drop hurt our Alv anyway…

"This place is nicer than I thought," Amber complimented while dusting off her hands.

"We do quite well for ourselves even if I do say so myself," Ragbar chuckled, the last to enter the room.

Valiea then continued leading us down the corridor where we walked past what looked like a study where a desk was pushed up against the wall with a large terminal placed on top of it.

There was also an egg shaped chair in the corner and what looked like a bean bag beside it.

I wanna sit on it…

The path continued forward to split into a cross junction with a room on the left and another room to the right.

The right led to a kitchen which was pretty basic since most of it seemed to be taken up by a machine that was clearly a synthfood dispenser. The kitchen quite literally looked more like a storage closet than an actual kitchen.

But then to the left… That's where their bar was.

It featured a fully stocked bar that had space for eight people to be seated in front of the bar counter and there were several really impressive and high tech looking machines that were hooked up to the counter.

They even had beer taps sticking out at the end beside the soda and ice dispenser.

On the other side of the bar were even bar stools and tables as well as a love seat that one could relax in to enjoy their drinks.

It was clear where their priorities were huh?

The corridor continued further which I suspect led to their rooms and bath but I guess we didn't really need to see those since Valiea turned into the bar room.

She waved her hand at the bar, "Make yourself at home."

Amber, Mara and I went ahead to take a seat at the bar counter while Ragbar waved at us, "I'm going to go get changed, honey~"

Valiea hummed to acknowledge him before she went to wash her hands behind the bar before moving to my area of the bar.

"Ok… So I'm obviously not going to teach you everything but just enough that you at least know the basics to be able to come up with your own flairs if you choose to. Now first things first, what do you know about flair bartending?"

"I have seen it before and kind of know about it but that's the extent of my knowledge."

"That's before you met us, right?"

I nodded.

She idly picked up one of the cocktail shakers with one of her left hands to place it in front of her, "That gives us somewhere to start with. I'll just do some basic stuff first and let you see them so you can get a feel of it."

We're just jumping right in, I see? I guess she doesn't like to waste time.

She cracked her knuckles before putting her two extra arms behind her back, most likely as her way of showing me how I could do it with just two arms.

She flipped another of her cocktail mixers in front of her before placing it in the ice dispenser to grab some ice from it.

Once a few cubes of ice dropped into the container, she flipped it again quickly, the centripetal force making sure the ice cube stays in the mixer instead of falling out.

She then grabs the other mixer she had placed earlier before suddenly tossing the ice cubes in the air.

Valiea then did a spin before catching each of the ice cubes that were still airborne one by one by swinging the mixer in front of her sideways as they dropped, all of them ending up in the first mixer before they could fall out of the air.

She slammed the mixer on the bar before reaching out to grab a bottle in her speed rail which she tossed into the air, the bottle spinning clockwise a few times before it dropped into the mixer she was holding in her other hand, its neck inside the mixer.

The liquid inside it began to pour into the mixer and she seemed to be counting the seconds before she pulled the bottle out and tossed it behind her back, letting it flip back in front of her as it landed perfectly on her elbow.

She balanced the bottle on top of that elbow as her other hand reached for another bottle, grabbing it by the neck with her fingers as she lifted it up in front of her.

She then tossed both bottles up one after the other while spinning the mixer in her hand.

The first bottle fell in front of her and she caught it before immediately throwing it up again, the mixer with the liquid also being thrown up quickly right after it.

Before the mixer could get very far however, her other hand snatched it out of the air to make sure no liquid was spilled before catching the second bottle in a reverse grip and swinging it behind her to catch the first bottle in between the fingers of her hand that was holding the mixer.

The second bottle was then swung forward in an arc to perfectly end up right on top of the mixer to allow the liquid to pour into it freely.

Once she was happy with the amount, she swung her arms outwards and tossed the second bottle up into the air behind her back, using the fact that it was airborne to free her left hand so that she could toss the first bottle over to it.

She spun the bottle in between her fingers and quickly dropped it back to where she had picked it up from and then tossed the mixer to that same hand before catching the airborne bottle with her right hand.

She gave that bottle a spin as well before dropping it back to the speed rail, allowing her to pick up the mixer with the ice cubes to pop it on top of the mixer with the drink.

She then gave the mixer a good shake before taking out a glass and pouring the liquid into said glass, ice and all.

She finished by tossing a coaster onto the counter right in front of me before placing the drink on top of it, completing her routine with a flourish.

Ok… If you think I could replicate any of that… You're in for a rough time lady…
