Chapter 855

Chapter 855: Chapter 233 The True Forms of the 9 Pillar Gods Chapter 855: Chapter 233 The True Forms of the 9 Pillar Gods The twenty-first Ring, at the end of the endless corridor.

It is a circular hall as sacred and splendid as a grand cathedral.

Upon entering, the first thing Aiwass saw was this scene—
The wooden floor was crimson, while the ceiling was dark red.

It appeared as though one was inside the heart of some enormous magical beast.

Thousands of white candles of varying heights burned within the room, filling it with a faint, sacred-scented incense.

The statues of the Nine Pillar Gods were arranged in a fan-shaped sequence, each set into its own square niche.

They looked like huge paintings, except these paintings were recessed into the walls, and the holy images of the Nine Pillar Gods inside maintained various poses within differently colored frames.

...

In each “frame,” different offerings were placed at both corners.

Mostly different flowers, gemstones, and colored candles, arranged in varying quantities.

From left to right, the Nine Pillar Gods were arranged in a sacred sequence.

As is well known, the Nine Pillar Gods have different incarnations, but the Holy Nation has its unique definition of the “official image” of the Nine Pillar Gods.

Although other nations’ churches might also have religious paintings, they do not have complete statues, nor are they allowed to draw in any form without permission—this is the “permit authority” and “speaking rights” controlled by the Holy Nation.

Only in the holy temples that especially worship one specific Pillar God are the holy statues enshrined.

Normally, only here could one see the highest level of sacred images of all Nine Pillar Gods at the same time.

—To the most left, the Eternal Self looked like a plump young girl.

She knelt on the ground, facing the lake, with her arms crossed on her chest or shoulders.

She was almost entirely unclad, only nearly transparent black crystals shaped like tentacles tightly bound her from behind and covered the crucial parts.

She had very long straight black hair, and because she was bowing her head, her face was not clear.

Her hair fell to the ground, mixing with her calves and feet.

But those parts of her hair that touched the ground turned into black snakes.

The tentacles, which surged out of the darkness, extended all the way into a deep red vortex behind her.

Near the vortex, the tentacles turned blood red, with wolf-like, dark golden vertical pupils faintly visible from within that vortex.

To the right of Eternal Self was the Gemini Mirror.

But the image of Gemini Mirror was not that of a mirror.

It seemed to be a beauty squatting on a chair.

Two people, looking nearly identical, with light golden hair, squatted back-to-back on a chair that looked like a multi-layer cake, appearing as though they were horizontally mirrored butterflies.

Both had hair over their shoulders, and green pupils; both possessed identically stunning beauty.

Yet, one could tell from slight facial expressions that the left was male and the right was female.

The male curled his left leg on the chair, while his right leg relaxed downward.

His right fist propped up his cheek, showing a relaxed and languid ease, with his head and eyes bowed.

Female Gemini Mirror, on the other hand, curled her right leg and playfully kicked out her left leg, slightly lifting her head, her left index and middle fingertips resting against her chin, looking upwards.

Both of them gazed out of the frame with smiles that seemed friendly yet carried a trace of playful mockery.

Even the offerings placed at the two corners of the niche were completely symmetrical.

These were the first images of the two Pillar Gods Aiwass had seen.

He carefully observed them and memorized their appearances in his heart.

Moving one to the right, there was Candle Master, the most commonly seen.

Candle Master was a large red crystal deer with antlers branching upon more branches.

And on each antler burned a white candle—there was nothing different about that.

Great Sage was an elderly man with a stooped figure.

He wore a hooded robe, his eye sockets deeply sunken, with one eye pure white and the other deep blue but profoundly deep, like a bottomless ice lake.

His mouth was dry and shriveled like that of an old man, as if sewn shut with black thread.

His right hand hung low as if hiding something in the sleeve.

Meanwhile, his left hand was elevated high, holding a stone tablet with ancient text dancing like electric light upon it.

From his raised left arm, muscles hidden under the robe were visible.

The Hourglass, too, was an old man, but appeared much more spirited.

Dressed in a yellow robe, with white beard and hair, his slightly long and thin elderly face appeared extremely stern.

Behind him was a large hourglass with sand continuously flowing, and his hands were tucked in front of him within the sleeves.

The sixth, Lord of Scalefeather, revealed a different appearance from what Aiwass knew.

His entire figure was hidden in shadows, with only the swaying green feathers and deep blue scales faintly visible.

His appearance seemed to constantly change, green at one moment, and blue the next.

But due to the thick shadows, only a tiny portion of features were visible outside.@@novelbin@@

Silver-Crowned Dragon, was a White Dragon lying asleep on an icy mountain.

Atop its head was a majestic and sacred silver crown, and its wings were a brilliant silver-grey.

The chilling aura visible to the naked eye was like dry ice melting at room temperature, continuously flowing out of that niche…
