“Next time, come watch a movie with me,” she requested, hugging his arm.

“Sure,” Hao Yansen readily agreed.

Mo Jun immediately felt so happy, such a small request had made her this content.

So, at breakfast, he took extra care of her and even cut her bacon for her.

Mo Jun finally sensed something was amiss, “Why Shang Shi? Isn’t he going with you?”

Shang Shi was his most capable assistant and would not be separated from him wherever he went.

“Yun Long is on leave, so I’m having Shang Shi stay with you. I wouldn’t be at ease with someone else. Once Yun Long is back, I’ll have him continue to follow you.”

“Yun Long is on leave?!” However, Mo Jun’s reaction seemed a bit agitated, “When did this happen, how come I didn’t know?”

Hao Yansen gave her a puzzled look, nodding, “Yeah, he’s on leave. Left last night, must be something urgent.”

“Did he return to his hometown?” Mo Jun asked, trying to maintain her composure.

“Yeah.” Hao Yansen nodded again.

Mo Jun didn’t say anything more and continued to eat her breakfast, head lowered.

But her heart was anything but calm.

Yun Long had actually gone back; would the tragedy of her previous life happen again?
