I followed the huge path towards the main hall. The Flames Heaven Cavalry led the way. When I entered, the guards on both sides looked at me solemnly with animosity, like they were seeing an unknown being.

Soora waved, “Guards you can go down, set a table in the side hall, I want to talk to my friend.”

“Yes your highness!”

Not long later, a banquet was set up at the side hall and there were all sorts of dishes. There were fruits and snacks. The maidservant poured out cups of purple wine and I could smell the grape scent. On the side were too trembling young humans who looked around 20.

“These two are?” i asked.

Soora sat opposite me in a dress, “Didn’t you say that you were about to dry up? Since you have an undead body, although I found two humans for you, there shouldn’t be anything you like more than their flesh and blood right?”

My mouth twitched, “Soora, I am a human saint, I will definitely not eat their flesh!”

She bit her teeth and killing thoughts appeared in her eyes, “What happened then? “Soora.”

I smiled and drank a cup, “I can’t decide on his thoughts but if you want to know the truth…”

I took out the green ring and it was still hanging from the chain. I shook it in the sky, “Enter my dream and see what happened okay?”

“Keke…”

She laughed, “Daken you fool, ten thousand years have passed and you are still so dumb. Do you really think that I will be hypnotised by you? I am the ruler of the Fire Demon Palace and the master of the Flames Army, do you think I will fall for your tricks?”

“If you don’t try how would you know?” I smiled and asked.

“Okay then.”

I started to shake the ring with a tempo and just shook it from left to right. After ten seconds, her eyes started to daze and things around started to twist and ripple. I was sucked into a dream.

“Shua!”

My body sunk down and I landed on my own horse. I was still daken and held my sword to dash amongst a bunch of cavalries. Around me were cavalries with a red blade emblem. Among them was a really handsome young man and he was the strongest one. On the side was a beautiful general which was Soora!

“Team Leader Xue Nuo!”

Soora looked at the scenes of the flames surging into the sky, “Calamity has descended and the space is about to collapse. The hundreds of thousands of us might not all make it into the battlefield.”

“We will send as many in as possible.”

She frowned, “Shadow of Death Lin Hai just passed his tribulation and his body is badly damaged. This is when he is weakest. If we charged and kill him, we can ensure ten thousand years of peace. Even if we all die there it would be worth it!”

“Right!”

On the side, a general that looked like Demon Flute held his sword and smiled, “If we can kill Shadow of Death, the Seven Saint Generals will be written into history books!”

Daken who I was playing laughed, “Even if we die we won’t regret anything!”

Right as everyone was charging, a flame pillar surged up and many flame trees appeared.

“En?!”

Xue Nuo frowned, “Scoff, they are using the Fire Demon Calamity to stop us. Soora use your Windbreaker Speed to open up the path and lead us over!”

Soora formed a seal in front of her chest and started to chant. In the next moment, the space ahead exploded and tens of thousands of people pushed forwards much quickly. But in the next moment, a sword shone and sliced those who were quickest at the front.

“Peng peng peng---”

Xue Nuo and I were forced back and the soldiers around us exploded. Right ahead, with a thought, I broke out of Daken’s body and charged hundreds of meters forwards. I saw Soora standing in a mess and the ground was burning. Her horse fell to the ground and turned into ash.

Soora was shocked and she turned around, “Everyone… Where is everyone?”

“Peng!”

A giant explosion as a Flame Demon Tree rose up. In a blink, dozens of them gathered and turned into a hundred meter tall tree. There were many poisonous spikes and red skeletons. Its branch stsarted to twist like tentacles and it smashed down from above.

“Damn!”

Soora raised her sword.

But she couldn’t block at all.

The image started to blur and when it was formed again, Soora was trapped in a sea of flames. Her body was being burnt and her skin was burnt off. She cried out and her eyes were tearing up.

“What is it Soora?”

A person laughed coldly, “They have given up on you. Those cowards, they don’t deserve to be your friends.”

Soora took the pain and didn’t say a word.

That figure said a few more sentences before disappearing.

I stood in front of Soora but there was nothing I could do.

“You…”

She saw me and her eyes were filled with rage and pain, “You are July Wildfire? You…”

“It is me.”

I looked at her with a complicated feeling, “Daken is dead, I used his cape and am helpng him do his final wish to let you enter the dream.”

“You saw it all?”

Her body was left with a skull and she twisted in pain, “Do you see all my pain? Do you feel my hatred?”

“I can feel it Soora.”

I said gently, “The past is past…”

“No, far from it!”

She looked at me fiercely, “You let me feel this pain once more, you let my soul endure this torture once more. You added to my hatred, I hate thie world! They didn’t! They forgot about me. They abandoned me, I am worth nothing to them!”

I frowned, “Soora calm down, you might see more in the dream.”

At that moment, the scenes changed. Soora and I stood side by side on a mountain. It was a chaotic battlefield below. A human army was attacking enemies and above them was a giant figure. When he waved his hand, a black figure covered the ground and smashed a bunch of humans with the red mark on their shoulders.

“That is…”

Soora’s body shook, “Shadow of Death… Didn’t he just go through tribulation? How is he so strong to kill the True Red Army?”
