Volume 13 Chapter 34: Heading To An A-rank Dungeon

Volume 13 Chapter 34: Heading To An A-rank Dungeon

The next morning, Keith stretched his hands out and headed to the adventurers guild, “Madison, I want to go to a dungeon today.”

"Hmm? Are you going with your party?"

"Nope."

“Then I have a list of C-rank dungeons you can visit.” That was usually the case with Keith. His go-to was C-F rank dungeons. She had also prepared a good number for him to go to, all with interesting ingredients.

But Keith shook his head, “Nope, I want to go to an A-rank dungeon today.” The moment he said this,

“You want to go to an A-rank dungeon? Are you sure?” The clerk was taken aback;  Keith was the go-with-the-flow type of guy with dungeons. He didn't care much about the rank as he wanted to earn the ingredients immediately.

"Well, I need the training." He had been exploring ones that didn't bring any challenge. Plus, he was free now.

"But I need your approval, am I correct, Mr.Kaiser?" Keith looked up at the second floor to see Kaiser there. He was sipping on his coffee,

“I will allow it. Madison, I will leave it up to you to decide what kind of dungeon he will explore.”

“Understood.” Madison nodded as she turned to Keith, "Keith, I'm going to allow you to go to the titan's plain. Is that fine with you?"

“Of course! Thanks a lot!” Keith grinned as he headed off.

The receptionists couldn’t help but gossip,

“He’s going to head into an A-rank dungeon!”

“That means there’s going to be delicious food!”

Everyone could imagine it.

The titan's plain was full of different ingredients. With ingredients like this, food would be amazing.

Kaiser shook his head, “You understand that he’s not going to cook for you, right?” They needed their bubbles to burst.

A-rank dungeon's ingredients were incredible. However, they were expensive!

There was no way Keith would incorporate it into his cart. Keith's cart was based on deliciousness based on where everyone could buy based on the ingredients.

He was not a fool to use expensive ingredients.

"..." Madison and the other receptionists paused. Like a bolt of lightning destroying everything, their pale expressions said it all. That only caused the receptionist to mutter,

“Vice Guildmaster, let us touch the bear for comfort!” Knowing they had lost something great, that was the only way they could get through the day!

Kaiser smiled, “No.” There was no way they were touching it. They would never be able to leave once they did. Madison then questioned,

“But where is the guildmaster?”

“The guildmaster is in his room?”

“Eh?”

One receptionist tilted her head, “But I thought I saw the guildmaster running off?”

“Eh?” Kaiser blinked before dashing into the office, and that was when he said, “That damn oaf!” The receptionist couldn’t help but shake their heads,

“The guildmaster has escaped again.” This was not the first time he had done something like this. Either way…he was going to die. The anger on Kaiser's face said everything.

There was a staircase that led him down to each floor. Heading to the first floor, he noticed no adventurer parties around.

That was to be expected: entering dungeons higher and higher meant there would be fewer parties to handle it. This is such a wild plain. There weren't any trees around here. It was more open, and everyone could run around. But that was exactly why he had to be more careful. If he had strayed off the path, then things could get dicey.

“Giant ostrich.” Well, they looked like ostriches. But they had some strong beaks that looked like it would break his hand off. And he was right because those ostriches dashed in droves at Keith! When one sets its eye on a prey, the others swarm together.

The man quickly raised his shield, which blocked it. However, he was definitely pushed back by the blunt force of the beaks.

With all of them coming at him like this, he was lucky his arm could take so much damage! Keith guarded against them, but,

“Hah.” Keith took a deep sigh as he lay in a circle of all these defeated monsters. My goodness. Keith couldn’t help but sigh as he defeated all of them. He thought for sure he was going to beat.

Keith stretched his hand back and forth before getting up. That was when he quickly recovered and stored them in his storage. That was more than enough.

Let’s do this!

Keith was excited as he was going to go fight some more. More ostriches kept coming at them, and he could only raise his halberd.

After some time, he had gone over to the place to do so. But that was not enough as he was going to do something else. Time to taste it. Keith got excited as he took out one of the birds.

Butchering it was quite simple enough. Taking a piece, he starts to sear it in flames. That was when he smelled the scent of gamey meat. But as he started to eat, it was incredibly tender and juicy, like a seared steak. Slowly, he savored the taste as he couldn’t believe it. But that was not the only thing that was said, as there were other things as well.

“Time to get moving!” Keith shouted as he started to move again. And that was when he popped a moonlight persimmon into his mouth, “Take this!” Keith blasted the monster into smithereens with his lightning magic. And he was not stopping as well as he continued to beat at all the monsters that were coming to his wave.
