Absorbed in formulating his menu, he didn't notice Carolyn and the others by the door gazing in. Carolyn grinned, "See! I told you he would work on his menu without telling us." Everyone understood Keith: the man was confident in his skills, but he was not a fool. 

He would definitely practice his recipes before putting them on his menu. Gabriel watched with a faint smile, "But this looks so different from the other times." Whenever Keith cooked, there would be a warm ambiance. A joyful smile would be on his face. Although there was a smile, it was a subtle difference.

A fervor? A fire was lit. There was a focus that they had never seen before. Scarlet held her cheeks, "He looks so handsome." 

"...Indeed," Alfia muttered.

As they continued to watch him cook, 

“Everyone, you guys need to go to bed now.” Aidiun put a stop to this.

“Eh? Can’t we watch him?” It was midnight but they were not tired at all; not with the aroma coming from there.

Aidiun shook his head, "No. Go to bed. He'll be cooking for the whole night, so bear with it." The elf quickly kicked them back to the bedrooms. But as they did so, that was when he muttered, “You three as well.” The great spirits were being discreet as they watched. 

Nephele pouted, “Why? We're not students."

“He’s right, let’s not bother him.” Diana instantly brought the rest back to their rooms. 

While Keith continued to cook the entire night; the same could be said with Brian. The man cooked with all his might as he laughed, “Haha, this dish is perfect! I’m assured my victory.” As he stared at the dish before him, he couldn’t help but grin.

"Head chef, are you sure this is enough? The meat he cooks is all high quality." One of the sous chefs muttered. He had doubts; when they tried the food in his cart, his ingredients were all high quality. Moreover, the application of different techniques to the ingredients wasn’t something they had seen before.

Brian scoffed, “Of course I understood that! That’s why-“ Victory or nothing.

"I will do everything I can for my victory!"

As the morning arose, Keith wiped the sweat off his cheek. 

Good, I will go with these pairings. He had decided on the dishes he'd cook. It took him a few hours of work, but he figured out the pairings that complement one another. While he stared,

“Papa,” Keith turned to the door and noticed Eri wiping her eyes with the small squad. Fira yawned, "What are you doing, Keith?"

Keith smiled, “Things. You should still be asleep.”

“Sleepy.” Eri waddled over and hugged him. But that was when she noticed the food that was on the table.

Growl.

Keith chuckled, “How about a small snack?” 

“Mmhmm.” The fox girl nodded as she was placed down on the seat. That was when he cut a piece for the girl to try. The others also got excited as they ate.

"Yummy!" "Delish." "Po,Po."

“I’m glad that you like it.” Keith grinned as he rubbed their heads. It was going to be interesting going forward. Everything will be fine. He took a deep breath, relaxing his body. There was no need to worry.

On the day of the competition between the two chefs, all of them should be prepared. However, “Keith, shouldn’t you be preparing for the competition?” The man sat in class like any other day. It was glaring to all of them. 

Keith shrugged, “No, I don’t need to do some extra prep.” Extra prep would only make him overthink. He had prepared enough, and he was content with his product.

Long Lihua and Ayaka stared at the rest, who shrugged.

Muriel pumped her fist, “Keith, we’ll support you!”

“Thank you for the support.” Keith grinned as he continued to have a calm look.

Class continued onwards. Afterward, Keith returned to the island, 

"Papa!" Eri jumped at him, and he hugged the child. It was time for him to head over to the competition site. As everyone walked, he noticed how many people were there to watch!

“Woah, that’s a little incredible."The revenue they were doing this at was way bigger than he had expected.

"Keith," Turning over, Keith was surprised and baffled simultaneously, "Father, Mother, you're here as well?!" William and Sophia arrived.

"Of course! When we heard about your competition, we had to show up!"  There was no way they could miss this after hearing it! 

"So, Kid. What are you making?" Julius and the other two kings grinned as they stared at him.

"...Secret."

"Tch!"

Before he could say anything, “Contestant Keith, please go to the side and prepare for you to be called out.” “Eh?” “Just come with us!” Without a second of talking or discussion, Keith was then pushed over, and the others waved their hands.

“Hello! Everyone, and I’m today’s host of this contest, Lola!” The beauty quickly shouted, “And today we have ourselves quite the treat!”
