A random pokemon journey

Rest

I balled up all of my team minus Hades that I put in my pocket and mounted the back of the Salamence that was surprisingly calm about it. Then again it did belong to a ranger so that probably was why. I couldn't even enjoy the view as my entire body ached and I had an uncomfortable throbbing sensation beneath my skin from my energy flowing there. In an odd and mistaken manner I felt as though I had a sun in my body powering it.-

Obviously that was not true but that was how it felt to me to have that smallest spark of divinity within me. One thing that bothered me however was that I wasn't sure if I was immortal at this point or not. To clarify the reason legendries didn't really die of old age or weaken after a certain level of development was because of their divinities. For normal animals, pokemon and Humans their aura's are like fires. Burning brightly and full of potential but finite and limited. Divinity however is qualitative different, more like a sun than a fire with extreme longevity and nearly unchanging with time.-

As a normal aura would fade over time a divinity remains just as bright as always regardless of the passing of time. The only exception to this I know of is in the case of Legendary variants where they age just like normal pokemon despite having divinity unless they fully awaken the divinity and transform into their legendary parents species. My situation was however absolutely unique as far as I knew as I was not born with a divinity, dormant or not. Thanks to this I wasn't sure at all how that effected my lifespan beyond that it increased it to some unknown degree.-

Ironically my lifespan was the one thing I actually wasn't worried about all that much since my High human race already gave me much more time than any regular human. In addition to that I always had plans to evolve my race again which would increase my lifespan even further. You might think I could always just ask Giratina about this since the god was clearly in my corner but to put it bluntly I'd REALLY rather fucking not. Speaking of Giratina being in my corner I still wasn't sure when the reckoning for that particular fact was going to show up.-

Unlike Cyrus was I am not delusional so I understood quite well that my patrons blessing on me was definitely going to get noticed if it hasn't already. Dialga and Palkia absolute knew about it and even if they weren't going to make a fuss about it after I more or less bailed their asses out from Cyrus by allowing Giratina to act through me the rest of the godly legendries might not be so easy going about it. While I am pretty sure Giratina would get mad if I was killed that didn't mean I wouldn't get bullied by the other legendries for my association with it.-

One must remember that to most of the other legendries Giratina was a mad corrupted existence and so purposeful buried over time to be forgotten. I didn't doubt that some of the legendries would not take kindly to me having it's blessing as a result, especially the newer legendries that didn't know the full story. Shaking my head to rid myself of these thoughts as the Salamence I was on began it's descent towards Eterna city. The place was a sprawling one with an odd mix of modern and classical designed houses and buildings.-

The houses were as I said an odd mix of classical and modern in design as they had clearly been renovated over time to keep up with the advancements of the world. They still held some of the classical charm of the original materials they were made out of though. The newer buildings were fully modern in design and material though and at the far corner of the city sat a futuristic building shaped almost like a spaceship from media on earth sitting on a box, the Galactic headquarters.-

Surprisingly none of the leagues people seemed to know that that was what that was as the place was undisturbed by them. I contemplated fixing this error but decided against it as I wanted first pick of the no doubt good shit in there. In addition to that I also wanted to release the lake guardians trapped there before some people in the league got any funny ideas about the trapped godly pokemon. The Salamence landed near the outskirts of the city and I dismounted with a grunt of pain as the impact jostled me.-

I thanked the ranger for the lift before limping my way to the nearest pokecenter. More than anything else I and my pokemon needed rest and recovery time and I had to admit the joy clan could provide exactly that. As I limped through the city more than a few people gawked at me but didn't move to help me since I was probably mean mugging the world at this point from the persistent pain I felt. When I walked into the pokecenter the usual cheerful greeting of the Joy behind the reception desk died in her throat as she saw me.-

"Get a stretcher!" she yelled back as she rushed over to me with a worried look. She quickly gave me a brief look over and gasped in shock at what she found. "How are you even walking!? Injuries like this would have any normal person nearly paralyzed!" she exclaimed. "Sheer fucking willpower mostly." I said honestly. I meant it too as I was only moving because I was too damn stubborn to accept being helpless and thus forced my body to move even as it protested hard. The Joy frowned "You might have made the issues worse as a result!" she chided as a gurney was rolled out and I was all but forced to lay down on it.-

"Here, take care of them too." I said as I pulled off the pokeballs on my waist and handed them over. With that taken care of I finally allowed myself to drift off to unconsciousness as weakness overcame me. It was a dreamless sleep for me but that was fine I as likely would have gotten nightmares otherwise.
