Rest(2)
When I awoke I felt less tired and found myself much cleaner than when I went to sleep originally. 'Looks like the Joys might have given me a cleaning to prevent disease." I thought not really caring all that much. Looking around I found that I was laying in a hospital bed with Hade's keystone sitting on the bed next to me. It wasn't hard to understand that even if they wanted to take it away from me that wasn't going to happen without it turning violent. No doubt while I was out the ghost had been vigilantly guarding me.-
I still had my shorts on I found when I got out of the bed and pulled the I.V out of my arm, I flexed my healing ability to fix the bruises and tears I had currently aching all over my body. I had to keep the ability on the lowest level though as I felt the strain of my energy moving through my body otherwise. It was slow going and I only just removed the last of the bruises when a Joy walked in to check on me.-
"Oh! You are awake. You really should have stayed in bed Mr. Drake your injuries were quite serious." the joy said chidingly. "A few cracked bones, torn muscles, torn skin and some bruises only. Most of which the diluted potion in the I.V has already started the mending process for. I'm using my healing ability to accelerate it so I'll be fine soon enough." I said calmly without stopping my use of my ability. "Be that as it may you are a patient here and I insist that you return to bed at the very least." she said firmly. I sighed but didn't argue as I climbed back into bed while I could have sworn I heard Hades snicker.-
"How are my companions?" I asked once I was good and comfortable. "Still receiving treatment for there injuries. If the league hadn't made it clear that there was a good reason for it we would have had them confiscated and your trainer privileges removed at the sheer amount of damage we found." she said with a questioning look. "You seriously don't want to know. I get how that sounds but I mean it in this case, it'd only weigh on your mind unnecessarily." I said seriously.-
She looked at me for a moment before just nodding and going about her check up on my healing condition. She didn't try to stab me with the I.V again but did tell me to take it easy if I tried to move before leaving me and Hades be. My stuff was missing but that was to be expected as it would be rather unsafe to leave stuff like that near people who could get ahold of it and cause big problems. I leaned back and closed my eyes to extend my senses along my bonds to my pokemon to see how they were doing.-
The strongest feeling came from Hades next to me but that was to be expected given the proximity. The second strongest came from Gaia whose aura felt like a desert that had been soaked in rainwater for a prolonged time. It was muddy and felt off but recovering it's natural state slowly. After that came Vulcan that whose aura felt like a volcano of churning lava waiting to erupt. Clearly it had been able to recover for the most part from the fight. Rune and Tank came after that with both of them being similar to Gaia in that I could feel that they were slowly healing from their injuries.-
Yani and Cratos were both fine and together doing something at the far side of the pokecenter. All of my pokemon felt my presence as I felt their condition through our bonds. I could only smile when they all sent their own sort of "get well soon" sensation through the bonds as a result. The exception being Hades that merely hissed lightly from next to me in a protective manner. I retracted my senses from my bonds and instead focused my attention on the painfully bright spark of energy in my core, my divinity.-
Even while I was resting at the top of Mt. Coronet I hadn't really gotten to explore my new energy state all that deeply as I was both physically and mentally exhausted. Looking at it now though I couldn't help but notice a few key differences it had from other divinities I've studied before in Vulcan, Hades and Gaia. For starters unlike their divinities mine was rainbow colored like my aura was after I got so many different abilities. Their divinities were single or multicolored matching their typings however.-
For Gaia it was tan, brown and dark gray for her Ground, Rock and Dark typings. Vulcan was straight up red because of it's pure Fire typing. Hade's was a mix of a dark purple and dark gray because of it's Dark and Ghost typings. The "feel" of each of these divinities also differed as Gaia's "felt" like a desert that was both fierce and yet enduring. Vulcans divinity "felt" like standing next to a volcano, surprisingly calm but containing a terrifying amount of power. Hade's divinity was one that made me uncomfortable as it "felt" very similar to Giratina's aura, a yawning void that nothing escaped.-
The difference was that Hade's divinity "felt" more violent and sudden in an unnatural manner while Giratina "felt" almost like a natural fixture, the guaranteed end of all things in time, entropy. My own divinity "felt" different from all of that however, almost spontaneous really. It was like it was constantly shifting from one thing to another. It was odd because it wasn't that I couldn't think of natural concepts that this behavior fit but that there were too many. Evolution, change, adaptation, creation, the list goes on.-
Narrowing it down to just one thing would be incredibly difficult unless I asked a godly legendary in person. As it turned out however that exact thing was going to happen a lot sooner than I expected as from thin air three bright lights manifested in the room causing Hades to fully manifest with it's many eyes and mouths all hissing and screeching violently at this event.
What do you think?
