Chapter 59: Step 039 The last step of the plan _2
“There’s one last step in the plan,” Yang Ming reminded, “don’t lose heart, it’s time for the cosmetic surgery device.”
Kolev said, “As expected from a former Imperial soldier, your discipline and execution are consistently on point.”
“This is a yearning for freedom,” Yang Ming’s smile was full of ease.
From Kigrov’s research ship to Cole Port, to here.
From a few months ago when he opened his eyes in Lina’s medical room, to now.
He could finally say one thing!
Yes, the Valkyrie was still alive… Well, not entirely worry-free.
But the danger level had definitely dropped significantly.
And there wouldn’t be any tailgaters for now!
He had also successfully obtained a ship, along with Molly No. 2, so the next plan could progress steadily!
Leaving the bridge, Yang Ming and Kolev walked one after the other to the enclosed medical bay not far away, where the cosmetic surgery instrument awaited them, their gateway to a rebirth.
“Hey, Hanton,” Kolev said, “don’t you want to talk a bit more?”
Yang Ming turned his head to look at Kolev.
Kolev leaned against the doorframe and folded his arms.
“You are strong, Hanton, and we are the best partners, you have combat strength, and I have connections and skills,” Kolev’s eyes were bright, “we two can continue to work together, and you need a constant supply of gene stabilizers, which can only be obtained on the black market, you are destined to become a pirate.”
“The black market isn’t just for pirates,” Yang Ming said, “in some established large black markets, there are anonymous markets, although things are a bit more expensive, confidentiality is guaranteed.”
Kolev could only smile wryly, “You even know this.”
“You taught me,” Yang Ming thought for a few moments and asked slowly, “what do you plan to do? After entering this door, we will need to take on another identity, and act like we don’t know each other, starting our own journeys.”
In Kolev’s old eyes, there was a glimpse of bewilderment.
He replied, “I always wanted to reclaim the Black Dragon… After choosing this fake death plan, I thought of leaving the Black Dragon to Mimili, hiding behind her to help her. But now, the Black Dragon is gone, and what I’ve left with Mimili is only those useless, filthy, essentially just numerical coins.”
Yang Ming said, “Being a pirate is not such a noble profession, why not find a beautiful place, get some land, build an estate, and become a wealthy gentleman?”
“Oh, Hanton, that kind of life sounds absolutely dreadful,” Kolev said with complete disdain.
“You’re over seventy, Kolev, as you’ve mentioned, your body is older than your actual age, it’s time for you to retire and enjoy your twilight years.”
Yang Ming raised his hand to pat Kolev’s shoulder.
“Of course, this is just a friend’s advice, we all have our chosen paths, and we will walk them with determination. This cooperation was pleasant, I admire your capability, you are a legendary pirate.”
“I feel the same, it was particularly enjoyable,” Kolev laughed, “are you really not considering continuing our collaboration? We could change identities, invite Mimili, and together manage the most powerful pirate group in history.”
Yang Ming thought for a few seconds.
Images of the Imperial Dreadnought crushing the Dawn-level Battleship floated before his eyes.
“Kolev, I have my ideals, and I have set goals,” Yang Ming said seriously.
“That’s great, oh, I know I’m being long-winded, in any case… um… alright, Hanton.”
Kolev was noticeably a bit downcast.
Yang Ming said, “You go ahead for the cosmetic surgery, I’ll navigate the Feinan near Weina Port, later you can take a ship from the aft compartment to leave.”
“Alright, your new identity has already been given to Molly No. 2,” Kolev said, “as a citizen of the Cas Federation, you just need to submit your new facial information to Molly No. 2, and she’ll help you generate a passport recognized by the Cas Federation.”
“Thank you,” Yang Ming smiled and said.
“I should be the one thanking you, Hanton, as an old man I’ve benefitted from your care quite a bit recently, whereas it should have been me caring for you.”
Yang Ming didn’t say much more, just opened his arms with a smile.
Kolev frowned and said, “Hey, don’t pull these cheesy moves… you’re not planning to kill me by strangulation to keep it quiet, right?”
Even though he said so, the elder still stepped forward to give Yang Ming a strong hug.
Yang Ming laughed, “Don’t worry, for the sake of your beautiful daughter, I wouldn’t harm you, she’s much more charming than you, maybe one day I’ll have the chance to call you father-in-law, my dear first mate.”
Kolev silently picked up the wrench he had on him.
…
The old man was gone.
Just as they had planned.
The third part of Yang Ming’s plan was goodbye, after their respective surgeries, they would not meet again.
Yang Ming steered the Feinan close to the predetermined Free Port, then went for a long sleep, waking up to get a reminder from Molly No. 2.
His old partner had taken the most expensive stealth boat in his aft compartment.
This made Yang Ming, when having coffee, annoyed enough to add two more spoons of sugar.
Though it was originally purchased by Kolev.
Yang Ming didn’t rush to start his journey, he rested near this Free Port for a few days, reset the parameters on the cosmetic surgery device, and commenced his own cosmetic surgery plan.
He adjusted his face to have a seventy to eighty percent resemblance to his past life, altering it repeatedly, it somewhat resembled his father’s youthful appearance.
Next came full-body anesthesia, bone grinding and skin peeling, skin repair… even without the resilient skin of a Valkyrie, Yang Ming went through the process many times, slowly fixing his face, yet his appearance deviated slightly from expectations…
What do you think?
