Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 166 HAPPY NEW YEAR _

Kratos and Abornim exited their room early in the morning, with Rose trailing behind them.

Rose marveled at the luxurious building, her eyes lingering on the intricate designs and expensive materials. Here, even the cheapest items were worth hundreds of dollars.

The moment they stepped outside, Rose made a break for it.

"Can I bother you for a moment?" Kratos asked Abornim casually.

Abornim nodded and disappeared.

Moments later, he reappeared, holding a struggling Rose by her arm.

"Hey! Not cool!" Rose protested, baring her teeth in frustration.

With a sly smile, Abornim dropped her unceremoniously to the ground. Kratos stepped forward, towering over her.

"Make our journey easier and cooperate, okay?" he said, his voice calm but menacing.

Up close, Kratos was terrifying. His aura was overwhelming, and Rose couldn't help but nod frantically, her head bobbing like a duck.

Satisfied, Kratos smiled faintly and stood. "We've got a long journey ahead. Let's get moving."

Abornim walked past Rose without sparing her a glance, following Kratos. Rose didn't dare to run again, especially after witnessing Abornim's incredible speed and ability to fly. Awestruck and defeated, she trailed behind the two bullies with a pitiful expression.

Marvel Universe...

In a forsaken galaxy, Sword Demon floated motionlessly in space, gazing down at a desolate planet.

His hands clasped behind his back, he resembled an ancient cultivator observing the world below, untouched by the passage of time.

"Come out. I can sense you," Sword Demon said, his voice indifferent.

The stillness of space rippled as a figure emerged. Her familiar shape, mischievous smile, and mocking expression were unmistakable.

It was Junnie.

"Hehe, you're stronger than I expected," Junnie said with a sly grin.

Sword Demon turned to face her, his gaze unwavering.

"We should go there and wait for Master," he said calmly.

"But we're free for now. Let's enjoy it a little," Junnie teased, her long tongue darting out playfully.

"Free? Ha. Do what you want. I'm leaving," Sword Demon replied coldly, opening a portal to the Abyss.

"You—" Junnie began, her tone laced with frustration. Sword Demon's unreasonable attitude grated on her nerves, but she begrudgingly followed him into the portal.

Kratos and Abornim soon arrived at an airport.

"Huh? We're taking a plane?" Rose asked, clearly confused.

"Yeah, it's far," Kratos replied as he handled the arrangements.

It took him a day to finalize the visas and other documents. By the next morning, their flight was scheduled.

After securing a hotel, Kratos decided to take Rose shopping.

"Let's get you some proper clothes. You've been running around in a bikini for too long," Kratos said as he led the way into a boutique.

"You—!" Rose stammered, flustered but resigned, as she followed him inside.

Minutes later, they were done and returned to the hotel, where they dined at the restaurant before settling in for the night.

The next morning, at 8 a.m., the group was ready to leave. Abornim treated the journey like a casual road trip, though he initially considered destroying this world outright. However, realizing there were stronger beings, he decided to tread carefully. For now, he wanted to assess the strength of the demigods. After all, Kratos was a god and had reached Rank 2.

The plane took off as scheduled, and the flight was smooth.

Hours later, Rose stared out the window, admiring the dense forest below.

"Let's go," Kratos suddenly said, drawing her attention.

"Huh? What are you saying?" Rose asked, confused.

Abornim, who had been watching a movie, looked up.

"Is our destination that forest?" he asked with a grin.

Kratos nodded.

"Wait—wait! How are we supposed to get down there?" Rose exclaimed, panic creeping into her voice.

"We jump," Kratos said matter-of-factly, his voice loud enough for everyone on the plane to hear.

"Are you insane? We'll die!" Rose yelled, looking at him as if he were mad.

Ignoring her protests, Kratos grabbed Rose effortlessly. Abornim stood and followed, an amused expression on his face.

Rose screamed for help as passengers on the plane stood to confront Kratos.

"Are you kidnapping her?"

"Put her down!"

"You'll kill us all!"

The passengers were both protective of Rose and terrified of the situation.

Abornim smirked. "Do you care about the lives of mortals?"

"I do," Kratos replied calmly. "Close the door after we leave."

Ignoring the chaos, Kratos pushed through the crowd, his sheer strength making it impossible for anyone to stop him. A flight attendant rushed over, desperate to intervene.

"Sir, please! Opening the door at this altitude will kill us all!" she pleaded.

Kratos placed a finger on her lips. "Trust me. You'll be fine," he said, his tone eerily reassuring.

"Prepare everyone. You have two minutes," he added, holding Rose firmly.

The flight attendant hurried to inform the pilot and passengers. Fear gripped the cabin as everyone braced themselves.

Two minutes later, Kratos opened the door.

The plane shook violently as it began to descend. The pilots struggled to stabilize it while Kratos leapt out with Rose in his arms.

Abornim chuckled, watching Kratos plummet rapidly.

"You're all lucky. If Hades weren't watching, I'd devour your souls," Abornim said, his grin widening.

He grabbed the open door, ripped it off, and hurled it at one of the plane's engines.

BOOM!

The engine exploded, and the plane nosedived.

The passengers screamed in terror as the aircraft broke apart and crashed into the ground, erupting into a fiery explosion.

Abornim descended leisurely, letting gravity pull him down as a wicked grin spread across his face.

"I will still go to hell to claim those souls," Abornim thought as he landed with a deafening boom.

The impact created a deep crater, dozens of meters wide. Smoke billowed around him as he stepped out, completely unscathed. His expression remained calm, but he felt a piercing gaze burning into him. He turned, meeting Kratos' eyes.

"You killed them?" Kratos asked, his voice solemn and heavy.

"Yes, I did," Abornim replied, his tone indifferent.

"Why?" Kratos demanded, stepping closer.

"For the thrill of it," Abornim answered, his eyes locking with Kratos'. They stood just centimeters apart, the tension thick enough to choke.

Rose, still shaken from the plane jump, stood frozen in fear. To her, the standoff felt like being a fragile boat caught in a storm-tossed sea.

Kratos finally closed his eyes, the weight of the situation pressing down on him. Memories of his own actions—slaughtering countless humans—flashed through his mind. With a deep sigh, he opened his eyes, clarity washing over him.

"I'm no different from him. There's no point in being hypocritical," Kratos thought.

"Let's go," Kratos said, turning away. Without another word, he walked forward, Abornim and Rose following close behind.

Void's Universe

In Void's universe, Sun Wukong was nearing the pinnacle of his strength. Absorbing the half-soul of the Titan had brought him to the brink of a breakthrough—Rank 3 was within his grasp.

"Thank you," Sun Wukong said, his tone sincere as he addressed the Titan soul.

"Ah, it's nothing. Dwelling in your consciousness accelerated my recovery, so we're even. Now, it's time for me to leave," the Titan soul replied.

"It's time, huh?" Sun Wukong scratched his head and chuckled.

"Indeed. But in the future, if you ever encounter the Titans, show them the mark on your forehead. It signifies that you are one of us. They will lead you to our clan realm. There, your body will be refined, which will greatly enhance your strength law," the Titan soul explained.

"Thanks in advance. If fate wills it, I'd be glad to meet you again," Sun Wukong said, his tone tinged with both gratitude and melancholy.

Sitting on his throne, surrounded by members of the Void Race acting as his guards, Sun Wukong watched as the Titan soul prepared to depart.

"If fate wills it, then so be it. Goodbye, young one," the Titan soul said with a sigh.

A golden orb emerged from Sun Wukong's mind, expanding rapidly as it ascended. It left Void's universe entirely, continuing to grow at an extraordinary speed. Energy from countless universes was drawn toward it, disintegrating entire realms to fuel the formation of the Titan's body.

When the process was complete, a gargantuan form materialized—its sheer size incomprehensible. Even beings like Void seemed like mere specks of dust in comparison.

From afar, the Titan's body was fully visible, its overwhelming presence rippling across reality itself. Sun Wukong watched in awe, feeling the immense pressure even from within Void's universe.

The Titan sighed, casting one last glance at Void's universe before disappearing into the cosmos.

Back on his throne, Sun Wukong stared at the now-empty space where the Titan's presence had lingered.

"He's gone," Sun Wukong muttered with a sigh.

Turning to the Void Race around him, he issued his final command. "I'll be retreating for now. The universe is yours to control—its fate is in your hands."

The Void Race members knelt, their heads bowed in reverence.

Shortly after, Sun Wukong withdrew to solitude. As the Titan's residual energy awakened within him, his body devoured it eagerly. He could feel it—a rapid surge toward Rank 3.

"I'm about to break through," Sun Wukong said, his lips curling into a grin.

"Hehehe... Just you wait, Void."
