Chapter 16: Chapter 16: Being Followed

Every time Su Meixi thought of Gu Wei, she felt he wouldn’t fit in.

Besides, team building was something older people enjoyed, not young people. They’d rather head home early to watch shows or play games.

“My boyfriend isn’t free tonight.” Su Meixi said.

“Oh? What does he do?” asked Sister Zhou.

“He…” Su Meixi knew he had a military officer card, but she didn’t know his rank or position.

“He’s a soldier.”

Han Ningzhen smiled faintly, “Dr. Su, truth or dare?”

Su Meixi naturally chose truth.

Dares involved outrageous actions, like kissing strangers, which she couldn’t bring herself to do.

So, Han Ningzhen just asked, “Dr. Su, during your time with Qi Anran, was he able to satisfy you?”

As soon as she asked, the whole place roared and some snickered.

Su Meixi also smiled faintly.

As if someone couldn’t bear to play.

She and Qi Anran had never slept together, so she said, “He can’t, because he’s incapable.”

“Wow…ahhh…” Everyone present was shocked and jeered.

Han Ningzhen suddenly couldn’t keep her face and wanted to flare up but, due to the crowd, and since Su Meixi had already answered the question, it wouldn’t be her turn until next time.

She continued to spin the bottle, and it pointed back to herself.

Now, it was her turn to take a dare.

She chose “Dare.”

For the dare, you had to draw a lot from a mobile game, and whatever you drew, you had to do.

In front of everyone, Han Ningzhen couldn’t cheat. She pressed “draw lot,” and then a voice prompt from her phone said, “Call your significant other and say: I know about you and their affair.”

Su Meixi took out her phone to check the bus route, noting that there were four or five routes she could take back to the Wei family’s home.
