Chapter 1760: Heading To The Inner Court

Vaergahl Family Manor.

In the large opening Grey was led in, all eyes turned to him the moment he appeared.

Seeing so many people, he glanced around, his eyes landing on a face he felt a vaguely familiar feeling from. Thinking about it, he has had two encounters with people from the Vaergahl Family, and only one of them was at a close distance, and that was when he first came to the O'Brien Family, where he acquired the Dragon blood essence. The second time he saw people from the Vaergahl Family was during the opening of the world he last saw Ellis. At that time, he had only recently awakened his third domain. After a few years, he now had five.

Grey quickly bowed in the direction of the Elders from the Vaergahl Family as he quickly greeted them.

The Elders from the Vaergahl Family mostly wore a nonchalant expression. Grey's cultivation stage was quite surprising, but they had a genius among them who was a stage lower than Grey. However, they believed that in a fight between the two, Grey would undoubtedly lose. "Grey Dawson?" One of the Elders from the Vaergahl Family asked, his expression serene as he calmly looked at Grey. He was an old man with white hair but no beard. His face had wrinkles, but if one looked at his eyes, they would see unimaginable vitality.

Grey nodded to the man's question.

The second his name was mentioned, all the youths gathered in the area looked at Grey with even more interest, silently whispering to each other.

Everyone present here had heard about Grey Dawson, the son of Lucas Dawson, someone who is almost regarded as a legend in the Aurora Continent even though it hasn't even been up to fifty years since he rose to fame and then disappeared before reappearing only after a few years.

Grey's name has been resounding in the Aurora Continent for a few years now, especially after the kill order was issued by the Gnomes. This order piqued the interest of a lot of people, and they all wanted to know who it was that had the Gnomes agitated.

They soon found out about Grey. Knowing how quickly his cultivation had improved, everyone was stumped. A few months ago however, he achieved his most legendary feat, defeating a Seventh stage Sovereign while still being a Fifth stage Sovereign.@@novelbin@@

When the news of this matter spread across the Continent, everyone was shaken by it. It was one thing for the Dawson to produce one extraordinary genius from the previous generation, yet it hadn't even been up to a hundred years, yet they've produced another genius who seems to be even better than the last one. What was even more shocking was the fact that the duo were father and son.

Seeing Grey standing before them, everyone present looked at him with interest. They've all wanted to take a look at the famous genius. Even the Elders from the Vaergahl Family were no exception.

"My Father instructed me to come in his stead due to an emergency, but he will come once he sorts it out," Grey spoke calmly, not bothered by the gaze of everyone.

"Hmph!"

An Elder snorted coldly when he heard this before adding, "That Lucas always acts like his eyes are above his head."

Hearing the Elder's statement, Grey hurriedly bowed, knowing that the other party was most likely offended that his father didn't come in person, "I'm sorry if Father's absence will cause any inconvenience."

The Elder was about to continue when the old man who asked Grey for his name waved his hand, "It doesn't matter. Since it'll take a few days, he will meet us there."

Grey was taken aback when he heard this, just as he was about to ask what the old man meant, he was surprised when a large ship appeared before him. This was a flight type artifact, and it wasn't the first time he had seen or even used one.

Not understanding what was happening, Grey hurriedly rushed up to the old man, "Pardon my rudeness, Senior, but dare I ask where we're going?"

He could already sense that he was most likely going with these people. Although he didn't understand the old man's words fully, he at least knew that he might be going somewhere with the old man where his Father would meet them.

"Looks like Lucas didn't tell him the details." An Elder snorted coldly; it was the same Elder who had made a remark about Lucas a while ago.

The old man gave the Elder a brief glance, before settling his eyes on Grey, "We're heading into the depths of the Magical Beasts' Forest."

"Have you heard of the inner court in the Magical Beasts' Forest?"

Hearing the old man's question, Grey's expression changed softly. He had indeed heard of it; in fact, he had had dealings with a Magical Beast from there, a Dragon, to be precise. He didn't expect that the place the Vaergahl Family was headed was the Inner Court of the Magical Beasts.

Thinking about it, he couldn't help but feel curious about it. When he assisted Eisendrache exact revenge, he didn't really enter the Inner Court, but now, he would be able to enter with the Vaergahl Family.

'Looks like their connection with the Dragons isn't ordinary.'

The only reason the Vaergahl Family would be allowed into the Inner Court is if their connection with a top Magical Beast Clan was high. Knowing that they were connected with Dragons, it's only natural that they could visit the Inner Court at a time like this.

Grey boarded the ship like the rest of the people from the Vaergahl Family, and their destination was the Inner Court. After boarding, Grey was given a place to rest on the ship.

A few days later, Grey noticed that they had a region of vast trees. He knew that they'd entered the Magical Beasts' Forest. When he thought about the identical name used in addressing this place and the one in the Azure Continent, he shook his head wryly.
