Chapter 698: Chapter 350: Expel the Kennedy Family!

“Heh, thinking of taking back control of the interests?!”

David sneered.

“What’s on your mind, then?” Elvis asked, his face filled with amusement.

“Let’s talk about it later, oh, and there’s something else I want to ask you, do you have people from Ansa Group, Illuminati, and Freemasonry in the CIA?”

David changed the subject.

The assassination attempt had made him even more aware of the importance of intelligence agencies. To avoid repeating the same mistakes, he felt he must take complete control of the CIA.

...

Therefore, he had to kick out other influences.

Hearing this, Elvis’s expression shifted; of course, he understood that David wanted to reorganize the CIA.

If he implicated his own boss with Freemasonry or the Ansa Group, and then his boss fell, wouldn’t he…

Never mind.

After pondering for a while, Elvis decided to put aside his own scheming. He knew better than to play tricks on someone like David and thought it wise to just answer honestly.

“As far as I know, the directors of the England and France stations are from Freemasonry; the chief and deputy chief of the Operations Division are from the Ansa Group, and there’s also…”

Elvis listed the names of seven or eight individuals in one breath.

“Good, give me a copy of these people’s files.”

“Will do.”

David spent the entire day in the safe house.

He had decided that he would personally go to New York tomorrow, attend the dinner organized by Freemasonry, give them a significant shock, and at the same time, take a good look at the files of the people present. He would slowly settle this account with them!

But before that, it was time to inform the main office that he wasn’t dead.

Otherwise, his memorial service would be held soon.

David took out his phone, which had been turned off for the past few days, and switched it on…

Washington D.C., Arlington Community.

Because of its advantageous location and rich community resources, the community had become the preferred place of residence for many government officials and senior staff.

And now, in a house within this community, Donald, who had just returned home from headquarters, sat in the backyard, staring blankly at the lawn.

“Dudu dudu…”

Feeling the vibration of the phone in his pocket, Donald snapped back to reality. But when he pulled it out and saw the caller ID, his complexion instantly changed drastically.

Because the caller ID was displaying David’s number!

Wasn’t it said that David’s phone was blown to ash in the explosion? So what was this number…?

With thoughts swiftly passing through his mind and eager to understand the truth, Donald immediately pressed the answer button and demanded, “Who is this?”

“Deputy Director Donald, it’s me.”

“You’re David? That’s impossible!”

Donald was hit by a storm of shock in his heart.

After the explosion, he had obtained the hotel’s surveillance footage, which clearly showed David entering that suite just over a minute before the explosion occurred.

And after the incident, even body parts were found in that suite. How could David possibly still be alive?

But if David wasn’t alive, then who was on the other end of the phone?

A ghost?

“Deputy Director Donald, this was actually a trap I deliberately set up, and I’m sorry I couldn’t inform you in advance.”

“A trap? What’s going on, explain yourself to me properly!”

Donald nearly roared out these words.

“A few minutes later, having understood the whole process, Donald managed to calm down but was also furious, and said, “You bastard, since you had such a plan, why didn’t you notify us earlier? We’ve been in a mess over this the last few days.”

“Sorry, Deputy Director Donald, I did this because if Freemasonry could plot my assassination this time, they might well plan another one. Although I am somewhat skilled in auditing taxes, I can’t guarantee that I’ll always be safe, and if I really were assassinated, if the Internal Revenue Service could seek revenge for me, or at least provide some solace, then I think everything I’ve done before would have been worth it.”

After spending so much time together, he and Donald had long since moved beyond merely a boss and subordinate, or colleagues. So, he had nothing to hide and openly spoke his mind.

Donald’s anger subsided somewhat after hearing this.

Because he now understood that David had kept them in the dark in order to covertly observe their reaction.

However, he thought it somewhat understandable when he put himself in David’s shoes.

After all, David had contributed so much to the Internal Revenue Service and had virtually risked his life fighting Freemasonry to this point.

And if David really had had an accident and they, the Internal Revenue Service, did nothing, that would be disappointing to anyone.

But on the other hand, at this moment, Donald felt a sense of relief.

Thankfully, after David’s ‘assassination,’ he and Obadiah withstood the pressure and launched some retaliation, otherwise, if David felt disheartened, he might have really ‘died’ and never shown his face again.

“Alright, since you’ve put it that way, I won’t blame you anymore. The most important thing is that you’re still alive!”

“Yes, Deputy Director Donald, since I am still alive, this matter! It cannot be so easily let go of, next, I’ll show them what cruelty is.”
